Season 10 "Spoiler Lab" Discussion Pt 3

I hate when they say "it has a surprise ending that no one will see coming".

which usually means you'll see it coming from a mile away.

Exactly! They said the same thing about several movies.

I'm guessing that, by this point, we're not gonna get a Greg episode or any follow-through on the promise that he's getting a new job, eh?

I think the undercover thing in "the panty sniffer" was Greg's "new job".

I don't know about Greg's new job. Here's the original spoiler:

Greg shares your frustration about being overlooked. Executive producer Naren Shankar tells me that he'll get to gripe about his role on the team when Sara comes to visit. Even better, Shankar says his complaining will pay off: He'll get a new job.
Please note, it says GREG shares the frustration, not Eric. ;) Anyway, we did see Greg get a bit testy early in the season about being sent on another case, but it certainly didn't result in a new job, so...not sure what happened with that.

But...Naren Shankar is the one who said this and now he's gone, sooo...if he had anything to do with that plot development, it may not come to pass. :(

Darn those spoilers and their "subject to change"-ness! This is why I vowed to become spoiler-free this season...until I moved over as mod and had to read all the threads!

Here's Marg from this morning's Early Show. I'm putting it here because I think the clip they show in the beginning is from next weeks episode and not tonights. They talk about Catherine and Vartann! :) The title they give the video - Marvelous Marg Helgenberger.

The Early Show

Since The Early Show is CBS I'm not sure those outside the US can see it. :(

Well you know I watched. ;)

I was wondering what episode they were showing. Next weeks, the one with Brass, right?

Knew you'd like it. :)

From the conversation it sounds like it's next weeks (Lost and Found) but I'm not sure. Wish they told us what ep it was from though!

Thanks for posting  I'm outside the US and was able to watch :).

Marg is great. It's so cool that Vartann was mentioned.

"Meat Jekyll"? Really?? Okay. Anyway, they really aren't scaring me much with this "life in peril" thing.

So, I keep getting confused about Nate Haskell. Somebody refresh me on that case. He was the one Langston was interviewing via the webcast or he was the one killing the girl in the cabin?

That case messed with my mind, man!

Haskell was the one Langston was interviewing via the webcast.

And I agree that the title doesn't really sound too forboding. I'm beginning to think that the writers are getting lazy with episode titles...

Smokey, he was the one Langston was interviewing in the classroom. Grissom sat in on the interview.

Detective Vartann.......................... Alex Carter
I'm not sure if I should be happy or worried about him being in this episode. ;)

This makes me more nervous!

Makes me a bit nervous too, Heather. But it says "member of the team" rather than just "CSI" and since some officers and lab techs are in the episode... and there was that "rumor" that said something about a possible shootout at the lab in the finale... so its possible that some officers and labtechs (the only one I see there is Henry) might get killed. The Field Mice ep with Henry getting pranked and asking out Wendy and all could be seen as possible foreshadowing. Wendy played all those tricks on him and some of them were a little mean. If Henry happened to die, I could see them showing Wendy having a hard time dealing with that. "Why was I so mean playing those tricks on him?" type of thing...

I really find it hard to believe that they would kill off another longtime cast member after already losing Warrick and not too long ago too. And with Grissom having left and all.

Although I am a little nervous for Sara. Remember that interview with was it CM? Where it was asked if Sara would be on the show next season? The answer was a bit ominous. They said that she'd at least be in the season premiere.

And I'm a little nervous for Mitch too. But I'm also worried about Vartann. I really don't want them to pull a Flack/Angell on Cath/Vartann.

And since I think we have concluded (or not) that one of the people in Dr. Jekyll's path is Ray, perhaps Nick is the other CSI who's life is in peril?
I was thinking Sara as well but if it says 'his' life well then it's either Nick or Greg. Here would be a good storyline Greg fans have been wanting.. Greg's life in the balance.

But then again, that would negate the spoilers about Catherine also having her life in peril.

I'm wondering too, if indeed Cath's life is in peril, that's why Vartann is in the episode? OR he is actually working the case.
