I like to RP, but unfortunalty the one's that I have been in have died, mainly my fault
I asked earlier about posting a story, about Det. Vartann kind of like an "add-a-line" sort of thing, but someone posts one chapter, then another, then another, until we are satisified with the outcome, I have some interest, anyone else want to join. PM me

yeah but You have a good excuse you're busy you cant always be on
whereas like I said i've got Rps where people sign up and Never post at all

hhunter, it's called a round robin. I've never really done one myself, but it could be intresting.

It's been annoying me for quite some time how many roleplays there are and how fast-moving they've become, and I will shortly be posting something to this effect in the QSF (Questions, Suggestions, Feedback) forum, after I try to make it look like I'm not in favor of axe-murdering anyone who's ever posted in an RP.

I agree HOWEVER I dont think it would be fair to ask all of them to be closed III think that the ones that arent CSI related (Or arent a cross over) should be closed thats just my humble opinion

This was my whole point of opening this thread was to get people who participate in the role plays to slow down posting by making more indepth posts. I am not sure I can just close down role plays because there are too many. That is a question I will have to look into further.

I personally dont think it would be fair to close down RPs all together because those of us that do them pretty much are Better at Rping then writing fanfics I think a better option might be to make a seperate area for Just RPs maybe *shrugs*

SaraSidleStokes, that's exactly what I suggested. I'm not saying we should make roleplaying not allowed (except for maybe non-CSI RPs; this is a CSI website, people).
I think RP awards are quite a good idea. We could have, like, "best plot in an RP," "best character portrayal in an RP..." While we're at it, we could do fanfic awards too... or are those already in existence? Tee hee, with all these contests and awards, we should call them something. We could call them the Talkies. You know, like Emmys, only better. Because CSI is almost always involved.

Yeah I agree with you I think a RP section would be a great idea that way that way people who dont write fanfics (and dont tend to read them) can stick to that section and Those of that only do fanfics can stay in that area
and I also agree about Non CSI Rps I dont think they should be allowed unless they are crossovers

I agree, I read your long post on the Question and Feedback Forum
RP's should only pertain to the three CSI shows, and no Crossovers even CBS shows
and I like the Fanfic awards too, I'm not sure if you already have them,
it does make more work for the moderators unless the board members want to be judges also, that could be fun
get more people involved in writing

I was thinking we can use polls for the RP awards.

The fanfic awards is a good idea also.

I love the idea for fanfic awards, and it would be nice to have a seperate area for rps, but I'm not sure how well it would go over with the authorities lol We'll have to see.
