allmaple said: and since nick says something about a wedding im assuming it was part of the new ones.
Nick says, "Come for a wedding, Stay for a funeral". and also it was in the diner and he did have short hair.
The come for a wedding, stay for a funeral is b/c the CSIs are investigating the death of someone attending a wedding.

I do not think they were in 'the diner', not the one in the CBS clue picture. They are in a restaurant having a discussion, probably over lunch.
We know why it was said ;) allmaple just wasn't sure of the line he used, as to us referring to Diner, at least for me I wasn't referring to the one in the picture, but rather the one they were eatting in, some call them restaurants some call them diners. :)

Maybe it will be like the episode where Warrick stepped out of his car because of another accident. Maybe Nick has to rush out of his car and someone steals it while he is helping someone else.

Speaking of which, does anyone know what "Rashomama" means?
(hope this hasn't been asked already)

in the 80s, Mama's Family had a show named Rashomama and it was an episode where people in the house recount an accident from different points of view. The last episodes of csi regard the team seeing things from different points of view. My take on rashomama is it is different perspectives. That is just my deduction since it is not a word in the dictionary.

If I am not mistaken, it is a play on some Japanese movie title. Correct me if I am wrong :)!

Nope, you're correct. It's a play on Akira Kurosawa's film, "Rashomon" (1950), which has a very similar plot device to Rashomama -

Plotted with competing points-of-view in flashback style... Rashomon details unreliable perspectives. The veracity of on-screen characters and depicted actions are therefore rendered false and misleading. Facts are submitted into evidence but immediately questioned. Disagreement among the overlapping stories of the husband, wife, and bandit complicate straightforward reportage. In short, every narrator is untrustworthy, along with the overall film.

According to the encyclopedia:

"Rashomon" has become a by-word for any situation wherein the truth of an event becomes difficult to verify due to the conflicting accounts of different witnesses.

i.e. the csi team will have different views on what happened when recounting the events

Don't forget that in King Baby, Catherine's crime scene photos were stolen. But, yeah, a whole car containing evidence is pretty bad. I'm just excited that Nick keeps getting prominent roles this season!

(I can't believe I caved in and read the spoiler thread!) :p  :)

Thanks very much for your help, guys :)

I'm glad someone has an idea on what the episode title meant. I've been trying to get someone to answer that question in some of the other threads with no luck. Thanks
creegan, forensicsgirl.

Oh my goody goodness. This sudden change is so very delightful!! Haha, I'm talking of course about how the writers are FINALLY including Greg more!!! It's simply amazing!!! I was beginning to worry but with the last few episodes, I was BLOWN AWAY!!! I am oh so happy about that.
And someone asked earlier if that was Greg in the booth with Nick and I do believe it is. From the hair and his hand on the table... I really think it is. Of course I could be completely wrong....

Yeah, but I'm really excited. And it would be Nick's car that gets stolen... haha

Hey, guys? Anybody notice that Brass wasn't in the picture on CBS.com? Unless he's the body...? Sorry in advance to Mods if I did anything wrong? And...Warrick has no wedding band!
