Box-office treasure is a little harder to come by on the new voyage of "Pirates of the Caribbean." The third installment in the Walt Disney Co. franchise, "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," hauled in $112.5 million from Friday to Sunday, well below last summer's $135.6 million opening weekend for its predecessor, "Dead Man's Chest."

Ah, pity... :(

It was amazingly awesome! Liked it better than #2.

As for a fourth I say no...let it be remembered as a great Trilogy.

Orlando Bloom said he won't be part of the fourth movie (I read it in Vanity Fair), because he's tired of doing sequels (Lord of the Rings...) :D

I want to go see it again, i loved it, i though it was better then the 2nd one, and as for a 4th one, umm, no, i like the Trilogy,

Yah, totaly want to see it agian.
And again.
And agian.
Not sure how I feel about a 4th, they didnt finish up all of what they started in 3, but i dont want this to become 'Rocky' and never end.

I just saw it and totally loved it. We stayed for the credits too. Very wise thing to do!

Actually in a tv interview just the other day, Orlando said he might do another one...just not anytime soon. Same with Johnny Depp basically.

I really want another one. I just love the action in those movies and Capt. Jack Sparrow is so unpredictable and fun.

i hope that orlando will act on the fourth...i love him.. :D well...i think i need to PM someone abt this..i dun want to spoil the ppl who have not watch it... :D :D

Can anyone tell me what happened in the movie? Like does anyone die, because if someone dies, then I don't want to waste my money to see it.

Yeah, I'm not diggin' a whole never ending PotC. They should just leave it at 3.

is it going to be about their son or something?

Well if they have a 4th one I will only watch :
It Picks up in between the 3rd and the 10 years later thing, I wouldnt want the whole son thing in a movie.

I totally agree, that would be a good way around it. Although OB doesn't want to do a forth, so it might not be possible, but JD might carry on. Who knows. :p

Well with the way they left off the 3rd , with him being the new Davy Jones etc, it wouldn't be a great change in plot to not see a lot of Orlando/will. we could have more time to have more of other characters.

Well they should keep it at this. It has been great. "Quit while your a head." The same should be done with Shrek.. the third one was too much and they're talking about making a fourth..

Same here! Orlando is hot and all (and he's very, very hot) but we are talking about Jack Sparrow here :lol:.

Oh I was reading today that Pirates 3 kicked the hell out last years POTC: DMC box office sales (this years Spiderman sales too). It may have started a little slow, but they raked in $404 million between Friday and Monday. Talk about your buried treasure....
