Just so I understand, you mean each person can just submit one song for consideration, then we still pick it at random?

That's fine with me :) Even I think it doesn't really matter because the songs I already suggested where chosen carefully by me... I mean I'm a rookie, I would never choose a song I don't know what to write about.

But maybe it's a good idea to make it the way Nicksfriend suggested just to take away some work from Smokey :) Well 10 songs are easier to manage then 40...

I am actually getting excited about the stories,about reading them! Nickyfan, my dear friend,it will be okay. Your first fic is always the hardest,the fear one has that they are going to be harshly judged is beyond terror...I would not worry,you are amongst friends and I know I have learned and will still learn when I get reviews...they can make you cringe sometimes but they make you a better writer,which from just your reviews of our stories in the past, I have a feeling you will be the biggest surprise,wonderful surprise of all!

By the way blackflag,are you writing a story? You are such an awesome story teller, I would be privileged to read your stories too.

So mine is finished...sort of. I need to cut some parts out now tho to make it fit the word limit. :shifty:

Don't forget, if you are finished go ahead and send it to me via email or PM. I'm not reading them until they are posted tho. :)

Yee haw I wrote another three pages today at work. I mean...not at work...I was...on a break. Yeah.

:D Won't know the word count until I get it typed up and proofread though but I'm only missing one more scene and the story is finito!

Congrats to everyone else finishing their work! Really looking forward to reading them all :)

How should I be able to forget about sending it to you, huh??? I can't think about anything else... It's following me in my dreams... :lol:

Don't know wheter I'm coming or going... and I'm not finished till now and that with my personal deadline till TODAY!!! Guess I need to work on it somewhat, before mom teaches me a lesson :lol:

Well I sended my story to Smokey yesterday... and now I don't know if I should feel relieved that I got my first story done or if I should be afraid what is about to come??? Damn, I'm so excited... can't wait to start reading :D

My story is done, but I haven't submitted it yet. I'll submit it and then look at it again and be like, 'damn, I could have written that or now I have an even better idea for that part'. :lol:

Egeria, to answer your question, I have received three stories so far. And I have mine done. And as you already know, I also was able to end up with exactly 2,000 words! :lol: I kept paring and paring it down until I got there, but it was hard!
