Miami season 8 in the UK

Yeah, I enjoyed this episode also. It helped that Ryan and Jesse were both looking hot!
  • The death by jellyfish thing was cool. Looked good, although painful!
  • I liked that Ryan was back to being smart this week.
  • H and Walter do work well together. I like there scenes
  • Same with Walter and Tom. Loved the scene in the hospital where Tom gave that inpromptu autopsy. He is bonkers!
  • Jesse standing up Natalia. Aww. No excuse. There was a good amount of Nat in this episode. Little too much Jesse, but it was kinda about him.
  • I liked how all the team were curious about Jesse being at the party. They would be worse than that at my work!
  • I didnt understand why the insurance policy would pay out for the 'suicide.' I didnt think they did. Or are there special packages that can cover that?
  • It would be nice to find out some time why Ryan needs more money. Tptb never seem to follow through on these things.

Yes, liked it, if only for the proper hero's entrance they gave H at the beginning. IMO, the writers of Season 8 want shooting, but maybe it's picking up a bit. Great hopes for 9.

What I really liked was how Walter kept calling Horatio 'sir'. Shows that Walt respects him and was kind of a nice reminder that H is the guy in charge, which hasn't been so obvious as of late (Calleigh and Jesse, I'm looking at you). I still missed hearing his one liner, I certainly hope that returns soon.

I also wish they would expand on Ryan's moonlighting, at least it would make a refreshing change to his annoyingly repititive 'always the guy who does something wrong' storyline :shifty: Ah well, there's always fanfiction.

So far its probably my favourite episode of the season (even though that's not exactly hard for any half decent writer...)

That was a great entrance for H. Although I do miss the one-liners. The season is definitely picking up now. But I suppose the writers had to introduce Jesse and then bring in Walter and Tom, so they didnt put as much effort into the other stuff

Yeah, you can see that Walter respects H, and H seems to think highly of Walter. I like there interactions.
Definitely the best epi so far this season, but as you say that isnt all that hard!

hey guys i'm watching ''time bomb'' again and i finally saw those golf clubs:thumbsup:

for some weird reason i kinda laughed about it

but then i saw H's face when that guy tried to kill him...:guffaw:

at the same time i'm watching ''point of impact'' too:)

finally:lol:

and you know what??

i hardly could keep my mouth shut... i'm at my friend's place and she's sleeping.. soo....

damn it's so funny episode actually:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

even the moment when Ryan said he's hungry:guffaw::guffaw:

OMG:guffaw::devil:

devilishly funny episode LOL:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

maybe i'm nuts but it was my reaction:D

^ Hmm, I didnt really find the 'im hungry' comment all that funny. I think, for me, it was the context. It was just the idea that Ryan would leave a crime scene, and cut corners. It didnt seem right to me. Maybe if they had been doing some long and tedious work in the lab, and he said that I would have found it funny.

Time Bomb hasnt been shown in the UK yet. I think you meant to reply to the Ryan thread about that. Although I have seen the epi several people on here havent and are spoiler free.

well for me i think it was a joke. Ryan and Walter are joking around all the time so i guess it was meant as a joke. at least that was how i saw it going on because Walter didn't respond to that comment.

Mmm, I still think it was a bad fumble on the writers part. I guess it could have been seen as joky, but Ryan was deliberately cutting corners and shrugging the crime off as an accident just so he could eat. Not only is that disrespectful to the victims, but it blatantly contradicts Ryan's normal attitude of being thorough and seeing all sides of a case.

I'm hoping that in two days time the eppy will be as good as last weeks, and not as bad as POI.

well maybe i'm just seeing things in positively-humorous way:guffaw:

i'm trying not to judge anybody (still learning to except everybody the way they are )

oh whatever i didn't know what to expect from that episode so maybe i wasn't the right one to judge it. but oh well the way i was watching it was bit out of space as i call it. watching two episodes at same was quite easy although didn't see the endings (page stopped responding)

WOW. Forget what I said last week, this is definitely my fave ep so far!

Seems like tptb have finally noticed the talent they have in Eva. She was amazing, more than able at carrying her own storyline. I really hope she opens up to someone about her problem, it hurts to see her keeping quiet about it.

Ryan staying behind with her at the scene was incredibly sweet, and much more like the Ryan we know. Although he was rather...distracting, with the muddied face, red shirt, and black leather jacket...:drool:

Horatio also shone in this ep. Helping Natalia out the scene, actually working the scene and evidence, and consoling Maria at the bittersweet ending...seems like the writers have remembered who their leading man is ;)

I liked Jesse a lot more, I liked seeing Walter's more serious side, and Tom was eccentric as always.

9.5/10, half a point only taken away since that's like the billionth time Ryan's been in an explosion

Yes, agree with all of that - it actually began to look like the series we know and love again. Especially H!

I also really enjoyed this episode. It was great to see Natalia finally get a storyline. And she handled it really well.
Ryan was back to his old self, and I love seeing his compassionate side. So it was great to see how caring he was with Natalia. Shame she didnt listen to him and go to the hospital. Far too dedicated these people! Anyone at my work would use anything remotely like that as an excuse to be off sick for a month at least
Yes, Ryan did look very hot in that leather jacket, coming out of the explosion

Its good to see H doing some lab work again. He didnt do any at all for far too long. They seem to be addressing that now.

I like Jesse in small doses, so I enjoyed him in this episode. I thought that he deserved Natalia's attitude to him after standing her up. Terrible!

I think they must have spent a lot of money on that explosion scene, so they had to justify it by showing it over, and over again

YES YES YES :D

YAY!

IT'S GONNA HAPPEN!

WOW I'M SO SURPRISED.

I WILL SEE CSIM SEASON 8 FROM NEXT TUESDAY!

YAY:D

Good news. Enjoy :)

I agree with you lot up there ^! Really enjoyed the episode.

Just not sure about all the stuff with Natalia's hearing - it seemed really false and contrived to me (sorry, I know you guys like her, and liked that bit!). But one minutes she's putting her earphones in and turning the music up really, really loud, the implication being that she needs it loud cos she can't hear anything. Then she's talking with H, who speaks barely above a whisper, and she can hear every word he says. Then there's the stuff at the end where it appears she can actually hear everything but it's really loud and distorted. MAKE YOUR MIND UP, FOLKS!!

And Walter suddenly toting a gun? So he's gone from lab rat to CSI to police officer with a gun license in the space of... 10 episodes?

Apart from that!:guffaw: I really liked the episode, honestly!

Jude

Well, for Natalia I got the impression that she was losing her hearing; it could have been touch and go to start with, which would explain why she could hear Horatio and not her music. I was a bit confused at the last scene...maybe they're just trying to keep it vague and simply saying that her hearing is quite sensitive due to the blast. Really, I wouldn't put it past the writers to have a case of 'not done the research so just keep it vague'...

As for Walter...was it ever stated that he was a lab tech? All I can remember is him saying that he came from night shift, so he could be a CSI...and all the other CSI's carry a gun on the show so maybe he's just following suit?

Probably shouldn't look too deep into it, since I doubt the writers did :shifty::lol:
