Marg/Catherine #6.0: Totally Thud Worthy

I heard there was going to be a sequel, but only if the movie made at least 41 million.

I think it's hard not to muti-ship Catherine, she just has such fantastic chemistry w/ everyone.

The thing that kind of annoyed me about how they handled Catherine's storyline, was not only was it rushed, but there was no aftermath to what she went through. Aside from lighting a candle for Sam, there was nothing! And that really was annoying, because I would have expected after going through all that trauma, she would have some kind of lingering emotional response. It was like once they got the Cath drama out of the way, they shoved her to the side to concentrate on the Gil/Sara thing.

I look forward to more Marg in movies :)

I think TPTB have done that for a while - I expected much more follow-up with the Brass storyline than we got. The same with what happened to Catherine and Lindsey. It's very irritating when they do that.

And Nick. The so-called "aftermath" of Nick's kidnapping was crappy. I think they ruined it big time. I don't get TPTB. They've got several great storylines, but they just ended all of them so badly.

I look forward to more Marg in movies, too. She hasn't played a really big part in feature films, but she shines no matter what (remembers Erin Brockovich). It's always a pleasure to see her on both big and small screen.

Marg has been busy!!
Im soo sad that I havent got to see her on anything! (stupid school!)
does anyone know if any of these are on you tube? because i would love to see them!

Yeah, a lot of her interviews and stuff are on youtube... a few of the interviews about Mr. Brooks on youtube have clips from the movie with her in it.

Marg is teh sex.

Marg is indeed teh sex.

I agree Erica - Nick was another one they forgot about.

Marg was great in Erin Brockovich. Everytime I see that I feel so sorry for her and her family. And the complete panic she portrayed as she runs outside to get her girls out of the pool...

Another good place for updates on Marg etc is margamania @ livejournal. It's a great community run by our very own Lady E and AngelEyez :D

It's unfortunate, but TPTB are so caught up in the format of the show (as in, not a serial), they can't seem to find the right balance of character reaction to bad things vs. maintaining interest in the crime of the week.

All of the characters have had follow-up. Cath at the church lighting a candle for Sam, Nick dealing with Kelly in DLG, Brass telling Warrick he felt like an idiot for being shot and didn't feel like he deserved the award, etc and so forth. However, these moments happen so quickly and we're thrown back into the cases so abruptly, it's like they never happened.

I think someone in another thread or this thread said this, but it was a great idea. The events in BtK should've happened over the course of the season and not in one episode. Would've played out much more realistically.

It is a pity that when they include character development in the show that they don't follow through with it. Although they have those small storyline additions, they're so blink and you'll miss it that it really does nothing to say about the character's development - which was what the original problem was about to begin with!

I will go check that out :)

I love finding things out about Marg

I had already seen this photo, but to review it's always a pleasure!!!
She's seems sad, but whith Power in her eyes!
The interview is really fun, and her Secret Ambition is totally curious! "To be a war correspondent" ???

That's an awesome interview that one. I always find that Marg does really great interviews - of course, it all depends on whether the interviewer has good questions for our girl.

this doesn't have to do with Marg so much as her husband Alan.
I was watching the movie Robots and I heard his voice. He did a voice over for one of the characters.
It was very cute. It made me think of him and Marg. :)
