^I have "Blood on the Sun" on my lap right now, trying to find that Jane comment about his "friendship" with Stella.

The thought came to her fleetingly. She realized it wasn't the first time. What was the relationship between Mac and Stella? All business? Friends? Something more?

She'll never give him up Cate....never! ;) And even if she did (which she wouldn't!) Mac wouldn't let her! He's never letting her go :D They WILL become more than friends...heck they ARE more than friends!

Awe, I love all the latest deep talk of SMACK we have in here. It is so great.

One more on M/S development. We already said that Mac was taking her directly under her wings and so on, but one piece we haven't "elaborated" yet :lol: (What is this here? Some kind of psychatric seminar?!?! Love it! :D :lol: Gosh, we are all so addicted! ;) )... I think that one of the reasons why Stella became so close with Mac is that he DIDN'T reduce her to her looks and beauty and never made a move on her. That she could really deep-trust him and let herself fall without fearing he might exploit her vulnerability. Another reason I just think they never went all the way.

We saw several guys having a thing for Stella and (besides the fact that they are all creepy) they have reduced her to her being the sweet goodlooking woman. That's what Mac would never do. He sees the strong character, the kick-ass lady, the intelligent, funny person in her, not this stunning beautiful woman (well, OF COURSE, he sees that, but not like it would matter the most). We see Stella being very relaxed wearing the most awesome dresses right beside Mac cause he might give her a compliment or a nod, but would never give her a bad line while hitting on her. Even for fun. He is the uprigth man she loves and trusts and that's one of the reasons she is never tensed in his company. That does enable friendship with a man. She likes the fact that he is the perfect gentleman all the time.

Maybe those kinda men have, regarding what happened to her with her past as orphan and being quite alone in this world, not happened that often before to her. And maybe that scares her as well to make the next step. Cause she doesn't wanna lose it. *back to RL*

Another question....

If Stella entered Mac's life after he lost Claire, what would be the difference?
 
She wouldn't have been the major support group that he had?? maybe. it would be AFTER, right? so.. Stella wouldn't have been there to help him through it.

She likes him checking her out.

Bona that is a brilliant observation and spot on I think! I agree...I think that is a good deal of why Stella is able to be so at ease with Mac...for lack of a better phrase, she knows he doesn't see her as another "piece of ass"...he sees the beautiful woman she is, definitely, but he sees so much more than that as well and she knows that and loves (yes, loves!) him for it! ;)

As for what would be different if they'd met after Claire...I think they wouldn't be as close, I mean I think they'd still be close...but there is something about a horrific tragic trial-by-fire like that that really bonds people in a way nothing else can! :D

about claire/mac/stella: i think claire is one of the tight bonds mac and stella have. ^_^ they would be close but not that close like Mo said... :)

about eppie: i missed the first 15 mins of it but i have someone who told me about it *curses drowsiness* T_T it was an ok eppie i guess... my brain was half asleep so i have to watch it again :lol:

um.. the scenes i saw.. according to that nada. no smacked wub tonight. but i MAY have missed something. i know i did. and i was seeing macky walking in the background in a stella scene once :lol:i think i'm hallucinating. :p

Well no Smacked goodness tonight...okay, but it sounds like in our next couple eppy's we are going to be getting plenty of Smacked moments...well hopefully at least, with the 333 thing being wrapped up....which will hopefully lead to much Smacked loving!
