MacsLady, I just saw that today, too... it indeed looks like we will most definitely be getting some Wet!Mac, this season! Bless the writers' hearts, they must have read our pleas!

Oh, and... awesome piccies, as usual! Love the captions!

Thanks for the sexy Mac pics, Sam. In that first one, he's even hurt a little, even hotter!

I love the pic in the TV Guide article with the people squirting/pouring water on Gary, that would be a fun job...
Mac's in need of some special, caring attention, being all wet and hurt and all...any volunteers? *leads the stampede*;)

Just over a month till new Mac in America, and also new Mac pics! Yay!

*dies a little*

Now that's what I like to see when I come into a new thread  Sometimes it pays to be a newbie :D

I had this really witty comment on the tip of my tounge but I can't remember it now

It made me giggle a lot when I read it! :guffaw:

I haven't really been in here for a while so hello!:)

I'll join too!;)..Thanks for the article and the pics.

It's good that we have some new pictures to talk about.I can't wait for the new season premiere.Seems like Mac will have a biiig part in it[of course!:)]

Welcome to the thread, AlienMonkey, and welcome back Athens!:bolian:

The start of season five is getting really close now, and I was wondering what you guys would like to see for Mac in terms of development and storylines in this and future seasons. What would your 'wish list' of Mac ideas be?

Here are mine:

1. More about his time in the Marines.
2. Learn about his childhood in Chicago and his family - we know his dad died, but what about his mother? Why has he never mentioned her? Does he have any siblings? We know about Grissom and Horatio's childhoods in CSI Vegas and Miami, but we know very little about Mac's except for the thing mentioned in The Thing About Heroes.
3. More Mac/Sid and Mac/Adam scenes because Adam and Sid bring out Mac's lighter, humourous side.
4. More Mac/Flack and Mac/Stella scenes, because these are the two people Mac trusts most, and who he confides in when he has a problem.
6. Learn more about Mac's relationship/marriage to Claire.
7. More Mac/Reed scenes.
8. Some kind of closure for Mac on Claire's death. I'd love a storyline where some trace of her was found, and seeing how Mac would deal with that. It would hit him pretty hard, I think.
9. More Unbuttonedness.
10. More Mac in Black.
11. Nekkid!Mac
12. More Wet!Mac (I really, really want Shower!Mac )

EDIT - Wow, the stampede is growing fast! Wet!Mac truly is irresistible!

Thanks! :p

I never really thought about it but I like the ideas you've already said!

I would love to see more about Mac Taylor, the person, the husband, the son,the marine, the friend[as yopu've already said] and not just the detective and boss he is.He is great at it but something different would be nice.

I would also like to see more of Reed and the situation with Peyton. To see that he was indeed affected but those two people.

And whatever good idea pops into the writers' minds!;)

Great Wish-List, MacsLady!

I would like to see:

1. The return of Reed, and more quality interaction between he and Mac. And please writers, don't turn Reed into just another "CSI Brat" like we've seen on the Vegas and Miami shows. I'll give Reed a pass on his attitude during the Taxi Cab storyline, because he wasn't being a Brat as much as he was being an aggressive cub reporter who sensed his opportunity to sample Greatness if he busted the Taxi Cab Killer case. Typical Human Nature, IMO. I'd like to see he and Mac bond enough to become True Friends. It would also be a good opportunity to give us a bit more background on Claire, since there could be a scene where Mac/Reed are hanging out having a drink or dinner, Mac is telling Reed stories etc. about Claire (until Mac gets the inevitable Phone Call of Justice that pulls him away to a fresh new murder/case, that is. ) Also a good opportunity for Mac/Reed Emo-Drama, too, if some remains (however unlikely that is, all these years later) are found somewhere with Claire's dna on it, thus giving both men closure on her death.

2. More of Mac getting past his "Just the Facts, Ma'am" attitude, and thinking about hunches, intuition and emotions. We saw that come into play a bit last season here and there, and of course in a major way, in the season finale (and to continue into the season premiere this season, no doubt). Mac obviously struggles with the thought/act of showing his emotions, and even his humanity, sometimes - he's simply not that good at it, for want of a better word. I'd like to see him come to terms with the fact that he needs to have a more even balance between Science/Emotions, or however you want to describe it. (Does that make any sense to anyone but me? ) I'd like to see more of Mac the Man emerge, this season, and a little less of Mac the Robot.

3. More of Mac and his various friendships. Doesn't have to be anything big, but remind us once in awhile that he's good friends with Stella, Hawkes, & Flack. Mention that he and Sheldon went to see a movie together the night before, or that Stella and Flack are planning on going to hear him play the bass at a club later that week, etc. Show him being there for the people he considers his friends, not just as his team.

4. More humorous interaction between Mac/Adam and Mac/Sid, please! :guffaw: Gary Sinise has such a wonderful sense of humor in interviews, etc., I'd love to see the writers take better advantage of that, with Mac.

Well what I would wanna to see in new season about Mac...Basically MacsLady said all those things! ;)
But the most important thing to me is to see him relaxed, funny, and "unbuttoned"! cause those new pics predict it! :bolian:

Yesterday evening I got my "Mac-dose" again...And the ep. was full Mac's flirting several times,:adore: black leather-jacket and -shirt!:drool::drool: and what else hmm...his super beatiful look and his normal hotness of course! :luvlove:
I was sooo badly "head over heels" the whole 45 minutes!

Here's pics. from the ep! I'm sure you remember these!:D

Some compelling Mac Discussion to go along with the luscious piccies!

Re: Which season is my favorite Mac, I do love them all, quite frankly. I think the writers have taken us on a rather fun ride through the seasons, where Mac is concerned. Seeing him evolve through the years... still in so much pain and heartbreak at the beginning of S1, but we also saw the strong desire to get back into life as he knew it before Claire's death, too. The lingering, wistful glances he would start casting at loving couples walking down the street, or at people obviously in family situations, and I think it was a lawyer or someone involved in a case that he was talking work with, and the guy had to break it off and tell Mac that his wife was waiting with dinner at home for him, and Mac looked crestfallen. Can't remember the exact eps, but I remember we started seeing these type of scenes and brief moments halfway through and near the end of S1.

I watched 'Cool Hunter' yesterday, and the final scene was one of those moments. Cool Hunter is the ep about the dead woman found in the water tower on top of an apartment building who killed herself but made it look like this doctor guy did it 'cause she wanted revenge on him for killing her daughter. She was dating the landlord, using him to get his keys so she could get in the doctor's place. Anyway, Mac and the landlord guy are walking together at the end of the ep, and the guy tells Mac that he doesn't care if the woman used him, he loves her anyway. He asks Mac if that makes him 'a chump', and Mac looks away for a second before he looks back at the guy and says quietly, and very sincerely, 'No', giving the guy a sympathetic/understanding look. They shake hands, and the guy hails a cab, and the episode ends with Mac looking after him. I think that is another scene that shows not only that Mac has experienced the kind of love the landlord had for the dead woman, for Claire, and that he wants it again.
Mac is a man who has very deep emotions, I think, and he does have a lot of empathy for victims' families, and he also cares deeply about people generally and about his team and friends. He's very capable of loving someone, we see that when he talks about Claire especially, and I think he longs for a family. So he's not at all cold, like some people think. And he's not inhuman or entirely lacking in emotion. It's like you said in your post above about what you want to see in terms of Mac development, MB, he's just not good at showing all of that. I'm certain that comes from his time in the Marines ('no time for emotion in battle' attitude of the military) and very, very possibly from his coming from a childhood where showing emotion rarely happened, and maybe even was punished (if he had a strict father, like Ghawzee said, maybe). Similarly, when Mac has instincts about a case, they're usually pretty good and right (except for in the s4 finale:lol:). In 'Cool Hunter' there's a scene where Lindsay and Mac are discussing Science vs Instinct (Emotion). Mac tells Lindsay she has to rely on science/evidence, and Lindsay says 'Instinct points us in the right direction, science proves it' and I think this is exactly what Mac needs to learn, and has begun, slowly, to learn during s3 and s4 - that instinct (emotion) and science can work together and that it's best to use both. I'd love to see him trusting his instincts AS WELL AS the evidence next season and in the future. I don't want him to be like Danny who trusts instinct a little too willingly (and the poor man is usually wrong too, though I love that about him) but I'd like to see him gradually find a balance between the two. He has done that lately, even when his instincts are wrong or get him in trouble (like with Flack in Sweet 16), and it's been great to see. Mac does generally have good instincts, he just needs to let himself go enough to trust 'em more.

And now, as always, some piccies.... from Cool Hunter...

Mac being sweet to the landlord guy. Nice bit of Eye and Neck Porn too.

Pics from CSI Caps.

EDIT - Just a random thing, one of the many, many things I love about Mac is that he LOOKS at people when he's talking to them. I've been watching the latest season of Miami, and I've noticed that H often doesn't look at suspects/colleagues when he's talking to them. It's strange! So I really like that Mac looks at people when he talks to them, like in the pic above. It shows a kind of directness that's very Mac. And Gary Sinise can do so much with his eyes alone, it's incredible!:bolian: And his eyes are just :drool::drool: of course, as we can all see in Sam's pics. *swoon*

Thanks for the welcome guys!

MacsLady, you're so right about Mac looking at people when he speaks to them. I noticed he hardly ever doesn't do that except when something is horribly wrong of if he's in a hurry. It just shows that he is a soft, genuine man who cares deeply about those he works with/is around and wants to show them that he is listening. I notice with the other CSI shows that doesn't happen and that's why I feel like I oh I don't know, trust Mac more. Think of it this way who would you rather have tell you someone oyu cared about was being put in jail or worse? Someone who looks you in the eye so you know they're sincere or someone ho puts on sunglasses to hide their eyes and make an excuse or someone who's too busy.

Oh wow I so didn't mean to sound rude about the other CSI supervisors on the other show but I just wanted to get that point out there. An that point is Mac never lies, how could he if he's looking directly at you? I didn't mean to offend anyone if I did!

I'll have to check out Cool Hunter later, after I watch Snow Day since I absolutely LOVE that epi, for multiple reasons.

OMG!!! The neck makes me .. Hello. I'm new here guys. I'm Asprine. He is sexy when he holds a gun.. I just change the size to smaller because big size is against the rules so i have to make it smaller..
