MacsLady, you're so right about Mac looking at people when he speaks to them. I noticed he hardly ever doesn't do that except when something is horribly wrong of if he's in a hurry. It just shows that he is a soft, genuine man who cares deeply about those he works with/is around and wants to show them that he is listening. I notice with the other CSI shows that doesn't happen and that's why I feel like I oh I don't know, trust Mac more. Think of it this way who would you rather have tell you someone oyu cared about was being put in jail or worse? Someone who looks you in the eye so you know they're sincere or someone ho puts on sunglasses to hide their eyes and make an excuse or someone who's too busy.

Oh wow I so didn't mean to sound rude about the other CSI supervisors on the other show but I just wanted to get that point out there. An that point is Mac never lies, how could he if he's looking directly at you? I didn't mean to offend anyone if I did!

I'll have to check out Cool Hunter later, after I watch Snow Day since I absolutely LOVE that epi, for multiple reasons.

Mac is my favorite of all the CSI leaders too, in fact the whole NY team is my favorite out of the three, and if I was a victim of a crime or someone I cared for was, Mac and his team are the ones I'd want investigating it. That said, I do like H and Grissom for other reasons.
I totally agree with you that Mac is a soft, genuine man. Sure, he can be very 'hard' with suspects, and back in the earlier seasons he could be very much the 'scientist' on cases (he didn't get emotionally involved to the same extent as Danny and Stella did, relying on evidence over emotion). But right from the start of the show he always came across to me as caring about the people of the city (even if he didn't 'show' it) and also being very genuine when he showed sympathy towards people. The way he looks people in the eye, whether they're a victim's family member or a suspect or a colleague, makes me think of him as being very direct too.
Obviously I mean no disrespect to H and Grissom here, I like them for their own personalities and both are good leaders and investigators, I'm just saying Mac's my favourite. I guess that's kinda obvious though as my name is 'MacsLady'. Sigh, if only I was 'Mac's Lady'...:devil:

I've noticed also several times how Mac looks straightly in people's eyes when I talks to someone...it's cute and also shows that he's honest and you can trust him.
And what come to Horatio I agree with you MacsLady. I often wonder how people can even get a contact to him cause I actually "hides" behind his sunglasses...:shifty: (my opinion)

But what is the best thing for our Mac is that he has his "softer side" and when he shows it all woman are going to faint or fall into his arms just cause he's so irresistible!!! :adore:

I love all of them, but my favourites are the 'cute' one and the last one. I agree with you, there are no words for how hot/cute/irresistable/sweet he is in that pic and scene. That is definitely a moment where he shows his softer side.

I agree that Mac looks great in everything he's worn so far. The wardrobe department do very well with Mac and his clothes. He looks even hotter without a tie, but then there is something sexy about the tie too...:drool::drool::drool:

I totally agree that we need a shower scene for Mac. And more shirtless scenes, we haven't had one of those since the s3 premiere, I think. I know it's a pain for them to have to add Mac's chest-scar, but jeez, it wouldn't be too hard to do it for just an ep or two, would it? Maybe if they'd leave his hair the hell alone, they could use the time to do his chest scar. Seriously, between the dye-ing of Gary's hair in s3/s4 and the cut of Lindsay's hair in s4, they need to get a new hair person! I really don't understand why they can't let Gary's hair stay natural. In pics of him with the troops, his hair always looks fine to me.

Surely they should use the time doing that scar to him and show us for example "shower-scene" or "without shirt-scene" Now that would be something!

Ou and that yesterdays ep was great.:thumbsup: Mac was hot as ever and that scene where he talked/comforted Stella was so cute...and he said that one sentence in greece...was also lovely. He really is a hot gentleman!:adore:
