Hey, I just watched the Vegas CSI about the exorcism girl (Go to Hell?) and the new girl Ronnie said she'd turned down job offers at the NEW YORK and Miami labs. She turned down the opportunity to work with MAC? Crazy lady!

Oooh, You Only Die Once was on on Sat here, Mac back in black, yummmmmmmmmmmmmy. It was so sweet he forgot to take the label out. In that scene I was like -'Don't just take the label out, take the shirt off! Now!' :devil: :devil:

It's a shame he doesn't get to take his shirt off more often, maybe it's so they don't have to keep putting the scar on him every time but I wish they would - or at least let him wear something different like in the first episode this season (there were short sleeves all over the place - more please!).
 
^I agree. Mac in more short sleeved (ideally also wet) t-shirts and maybe even (oh PLEASE PTB) a wife-beater would be fantastic. More shirtless Mac would be nice too. Just a couple of times a season so they don't have to fuss about the scar too often. I like the scar because it connects to his military past and also because it makes him look sexy in a sorta tough, battle-scarred way. Peyton obviously liked it too - in that opening scene in PWM her hand comes down over his shoulder and moves over the scar.

I was watching 'Dancing with the Fishes' today, so jealous of Lindsey getting to wipe that smell-changing goop on Mac's lightly stubbled upper lip... :devil:

^natty, thankee for the lovely 'demo' pic. Demos are very very important especially when it comes to half-naked Gary/Mac.
I spent the weekend watching the entire series of Over There and it made me think about Mac's military past. I really wish the writers would deal with that in more detail. Flashbacks of Mac in a Marine uniform...yummmmmmmmmmy! But it's a really interesting aspect of his character too and it would be great to learn more about that part of his life, and could explain a lot about why he is the way he is now. He is a very good leader of the NY team, so I bet he was a good (but tough) leader in the Marines. It could also explain why he is tough on Danny - maybe Danny reminds him of one of his men who was also impulsive, emotional and hotheaded, and something bad happened, and that's why Mac's hard on Danny (though he's not so hard on him now). It would also be interesting to learn why he joined the Marines, he's already talked about wanting to belong and wanting to serve his country, but it would be interesting to hear him talk more about it. Also, Mac served in the first Gulf War (he left the Marine in 1992, I think) and that's gotta effect how he views this second one that's happening now, especially since that war initially arose as a response to 9/11 something else that deeply affects Mac. I hope the writers do a story like that one day. Hmmm, they could even do a x-over with NCIS - Gibbs served in the first Gulf War too, and so it's possible he and Mac met/knew each other. But God help any suspect or bad guy that has to face Mac and Gibbs in an interview room. That would be SCARY (and for me hot :devil:).
