I think I've missed something, I know she is a det now, but since when did she become one?? and why? Have I been that focused on the other CSI's to miss that storyline??

During "Bodies in Motion" she explained that she had just qualified for her shield when the sheriff pulled her papers and "volunteered" her to CSI. After S5, she went to Boulder City to go back to being a detective and when a spot opened up at the start of S6, she transferred back to Vegas.

The reason her character went to "Boulder" is because Louise at the time wasn't sure she would be returning to the show, as she was pregnante during season 5, so they left it open for her if she decided to return.
Might i add that considering when she was pregnante during season 5, in which (not insulting) she did get big (which didn't help with all the hiding of the pregnancy they were doing), that she looks really good for having a baby not long ago (by that i mean these eps were taped earlier and not long after the birth).
She got back into shape and looks really healthly and kinda new mom glow that i am sorry no actor can really hide, its right there at the surface.
Before asked, As far as i know there has been no info let out about her baby. Also it was the actress NOT the character that was pregnante.

Gotta check out those eps again then hehe. Poor Sofia though, she gets tossed around like a ball, I hope she can stay where she is now, it's nice to have her on the show

Made this for my SofiaYahoo Group and thought I'd share with those who don't belong.
Love Dirty Harry movies and Sofia, so why not combine the two for a kick-butt female cop who don't take lip for no one.
