It could've been worse, Wentworth Miller turned into a fish monster.
I remember that episode of Buffy too. That's actually how I recognized Wentworth Miller when Prison Break first started...

Danny really should wear nothing but the glasses in an episode. That would be absurdly hot.

If we wrote the show, that episode would have happened in season 1. There would have also been one with Flack in nothing but a fugly tie, Hawkes with nothing but a stethoscope...

don't forget about Mac wearing just his...badge (not that he floats my boat or anything, but you can't leave him out!). Ooh and Adam wearing nothing but latex gloves....
*suddenly this has gone from "dream episode" to "2008 CSI Calender" Hmmm, who gets to be Mr December....*

No, no, I try to forget the mental images that arise when I read the Mac thread. The dude is old enough to be my dad. Hell, he could be a grandpa to some of you. Let's keep his clothes on. Pleeeeeaaassseee???

As for Mr. December, my vote goes to Danny ... wearing nothing but a strategically placed piece of mistletoe.

I was in the Adam thread talking about how A.J. had really built that role up into what it is, and I think the same is true of Carmine with Danny. Danny easily could have just been the young guy on the show who solves crimes along the older, wiser CSI (think Nick or Delko), but instead he really stands out as the most complex, most emotional character on the show, and a lot of that is due to Carmine I think. I love how he reacted to the "self defense" killer in this most recent episode, and to the woman who killed the rapist. Danny really sees shades of grey, and I think that comes through as much if not more in Carmine's acting than it does in the lines necessarily. And I also think it's why he gets great scripts like "Trapped" and RSRD--because he does so well with the material. What do you guys think?

Look, I'm only a few years younger than Mac but even I wouldn't want to see him nekkid. Great actor yes, sex-god no. Well not in my book anyway but hey-ho, each to their own I suppose... :D

 That's better!

Zip with caps from Trapped

That last pic looks... pornographic.

But speaking of that last pic, Trapped is one of those episodes that really showcase how much Carmine has made Danny his. So much of the episode was focused on just him, and he communicated both the humor and the frustration of being stuck in a room with a dead person for hours on end.

Trapped is a great episode and Carmine made it perfect.

From the This is getting better and better. I'm not spending a week in here with a crazy dead guy trying to figure out the code. So, do me a favor, call the locksmith. to the I'll be in here. like you could do anything else, to the Crime stopper, run to Ray's, grab me a slice, extra pepperoni, all right ? Bring it back. Just fold it up, slide it right through, huh ? he was funny and adorable. And of course, the little outbursts that we know & love : I got to get out of here. , Do me a favor. Get me out of here. , It's going down, and I'm stuck in here, man., You could have opened this door this whole time ! . Danny is just so easy to love.
And Carmine made him real.

I loved trapped it was so perfect the way he played it. he does humour well that he can mix it in.

I always loved the first scene in S1 where he calls Stella "Morning Dear" it was now looking back perfect for the character.

Yeah, "Trapped" is definitely that, and even more--it was an episode that I think was written in part because of what Carmine has done with Danny. That episode wouldn't work with any other character on the show--none of the others would have given the episode the kind of mileage that it had. It was a Danny episode through and through. Who but Danny would push a big red button to turn on the lights?  Who but Danny would complain and whine and then be mad when he was released--not because the guy is pointing a gun at him, but because the guy could have released him all along! That's so Danny, as were all of the other little reactions and quips Danny had throughout the episode. Much as I love all the characters on the show, Danny is far and away the only one you trap in a panic room and get a whole episode out of.

Trapped is one of my fave episodes it was a such a great Danny moment. I have watched it so many times I'm surprised the dvd still works
Danny can be so childlike at times like Top41 said by pushing the button and how he dramatically throws himself on he bed saying "I gotta get out of here" And then how he calls Flack crimestopper and asks him to bring him a slice of pizza  I think TPTB need to watch that episode to be reintroduced to who Danny actually is cause I think they have amnesia about him.

 Trapped is still one of my fave Season 2 episodes. It may be one of my favorite episodes ever, just because Danny was front and center in it.

One of my fave lines from the episode was: "Are you telling me this spaceship doesn't open until tomorrow morning?"

I don't think I got it exactly right, but I definitely remember him referring to the panic room as a spaceship.

I agree with Top, Danny is probably the only person who would mistake a big, red button as the light switch. I was screaming, "No, Danny! Don't touch that!" when he was going for the big red button.

Who but Danny would complain and whine and then be mad when he was released--not because the guy is pointing a gun at him, but because the guy could have released him all along!
Danny must have been thinking, "I could have been out of here, and enjoying a pepperoni pizza at Ray's, you idiot!"

As much I would've liked to be locked in a room with him, I think I would have eventually been driven to madness with his whining. :p
