Life Changing Events (Snicker RP)

(no problem yeah I use to be a Diehard GC fan..Not anymore though ...so at the time that ep had the best of both of my ships)

(I'm whatever. ;) You know, you haven't been suggesting any ficlets :p. I'm up for snickers, sandle, 'checkmate', yobling, Cath/Grissom, GSR, the list goes on! :eek:)

"Well... that was not exactly what I was hoping for, but I know at one point you cared about Warrick. And I suppose that's how I felt about Sara. She was a beautiful woman who seemed to have alot in commomn with me. She looked up to me and practically worshipped the ground I walked on... I guess I took advantage of that," he smiled sadly.
"I'm sorry If I disregarded your feelings, I just want you to know that I was confused about some things, but not anymore."

The waitress came by with the orders, sparing him anymore questions and emotional conversation.
 
Catherine looked up and smiled as the waitress brought them their food, but she wasn't letting this conversation go. "What do you mean not anymore?"
 
Grissom looked up from his plate, "Ummm. We can talk after dinner. Try the clams their as good as the calamari." He did his best to change the subject.

Nick smiles and kisses her back. Then he takes her by the hand and leads her out to the Denali and they go home to enjoy each others company.
 
Catherine just laughed a little and ate her dinner. She didn't want to admit it, but she was really nervous about being here with Grissom alone. That didn't mean that she was going to let that question go though. She wanted to know what he meant by that, and as soon as they had the chance, she was going to ask him about it again.
 
Grissom took his time eating. He could tell she was itching to get back to their conversation, and he wasn't ready to admit everything... yet.
He thought of many different quotes he could use on Catherine, yet none seemed to fit. Maybe he should speak from his heart... but not yet.
Not now.
 
Catherine smiled up at the waitress that took her plate away. The waitress winked at her, which made Cath feel a little awkward, but she didn't show it. She didn't know what to talk about. She knew that Grissom's life was consumed by work, and nothing more. So, she wondered, "What do you do in your spare time Grissom?"
 
"You know me Catherine," he smiled. "Racing cockroaches, collectiing butterflies, reading. There's not much you don't know about me."
He was hinting that he let her know more about him than any other woman. That much was true - she had gotten close to him, and he let her. If that didn't prove how much he cared about her, he decided nothing might... nothing short of outright telling her.
 
Catheirne nodded. "You're right, I do know a lot about you." she told him. "I think I know more about you than any other person in the lab. But I don't understand why, why don't you let anyone else in?"

Once at Home she layed On the couch feeling exhausted from all the Emotional Strain ,she motioned for Nick to come sit next to her
 
He smiles and plops down next to her and rests his head gently on her shoulder. "You tired,Sar?" he asks.
"Because I'm not" he snuggles close to her and kisses her passionatly.
 
Grissom just sighged, and looked at Catherine. "It's complicated." he got up and paid the bill, "Come on, I have something else planned." He gave her a mysterious smile.

(If Sara or Nick wants to call the sheriff, I can play him. :))
 
Catherine raised an eyebrow and gave him a surprised look. "You have somethig else planned?" Catherine asked. "I don't think I have ever seen this side of you Gil." she said with a smirk.
