Life Changing Events (Snicker RP)

After he dropped Catherine off at her house, he headed home, with a sense of relief and a little exhilaration.

He felt nervous as he went through his closet. He didn't know what to wear, and he wondered why he was so bothered and nervous. He wanted to impress her...
"What can I do to really wow her," he thought out loud.

After about an hour of looking through his clothes, he picked a comfortable shirt, blazer, and pants.
All he needed was a destination and a plan.

(I'm horrible at describing clothes. Especially boys clothes! :p)

(lol, Catherine wants to 'wow' him too!)

Catherine got home, and after a few minutes of rest and relaxation, it became time to get ready. She had replayed what he said to her over and over again in her head. *'Feelings I want to explore' What does that mean? Does that mean that he's giving me a chance? I must, why else would he say it?* Catherine thought to herself as she stepped into the shower. She used her fancy shampoo, the one that smelled like fresh lilacs. Most women went with the traditional valilla, but Catherine wasn't most of the women, she was the one of the diffrent women. Most men didn't realize that, Grissom did. That was probably the reason why she loved him. He knew who she was, not what most people saw her as.

She thought a lot about what she was going to say to him tonight. She finally stepped out of the shower at 4:30, and blowdried her hair and gave it a few curls with the curling iron. She went to her closet and sighed.

"What to wear?" she thought to herself. After about an hour of debating, she finally decided on a pair of white dress pants, white heeled shoes, and a cute pink camisole covered by a light white jacket. She looked very delicate, and simple almost. She smiled as she looked at herself in the mirror. She then sat down and put on her make up. She wore the typical pink lipstick, mascara, and light pink eyeshadow. At 6:30, she was sitting on her couch, ready to go.

(See, now that's a description! Blows mine away... )

He wondered whether he should bring her flowers. When he decided that he should, he had to figure out what kind and how many.
He decided on a bouquet of wild orchids, smiling to himself as he remembered what the word meant in Greek...

When he finally arrived to her house, he noticed was 15 minutes early. There were butterflies in his stomach and he wasn't sure why. He gave himself a mental pep-talk, 'You can do this. It's just a friendly dinner and light conversation... nothing more.'
He rehearsed what he would say and knocked on the door. 'Hello Catherine, you look lovely this evening. I brought you some wild orchids.'

When she opened the door his mind drew a blank. All he could say was, "Wow..."

(Mission accomplished! :D)
(BTW, I read in a 'certain' magazine that orchids were supposedly the Greek word for... ummm... *coughtesticlecough* Okay. Got that out of my system!)

(no its okay I'm not into the Bunny and Eggs myself I'M Christian I celebrate the Holiday the way its SUPPOSED to be celebrated... sorry if that sounded Harsh but I kind of got annoyed this weekend with people go on and on about Easter being about Bunny and Eggs and forgetting why we ACTAULLY Celebrate it)
Sara looks at Nick she's frowning but she knows its better this way "Honey, Look I Know you dont like this, I dont like it either but maybe its better this way and its not like we wont see eachother at home" She was going to definetly take this to the Sheriff he always liked the GraveYard shift and would do anything for them ,she also knew that the Sherriff and Ecklie did not get along

Nick took her hand and pulled her into his arms. "I know, but I'm gonna miss you!" he whined. "Can we go home now?" All he wanted to do was go home with Sara and forget about work for awhile.

(Oh that's real romantic lol)
Cath smiled at Grissom's reaction. She smiled as he handed her the flowers. "They're beautiful." Catherine said as she led him into the house and put the flowers into a vase. "You don't look to bad yourself." she told him, she looked a lot better than she did earlier, a little blush on her cheeks had artificially put some color back into them, but her eyes still did not have that little spark, and she still looked heartbroken.

"You ready to go?" she asked, grabbing her purse and walking up to him, the scent of lilacs flooded the air around her.

"Of course," he escorted her to his car. They drove for a while, his eyes wandering back to her. She looked beautiful but he wanted to see that spark in her eyes.

"We're here," it was the lovely seafood place where he enjoyed eating alone, although he knew he would enjoy it just as much with Catherine.

(At the moment I'm drawing a blank on the episode where he mentions the restaurant... I think you know which one I'm talking about. Well, I'll retire for tonight, and I'll try and think up some romance. ^_~)

(Yeah, the one where he tells her about the calamari and beer? lol)

Catherine let a small smile escape her lips and got out of the car. Catherine walked around to the side of the car to meet him and tucked a piece of hair out of her face. "We were here before, when you told me that you had a beer with your calamari." Catherine told him with a small laugh.

Sara smiled at him "I've been wanting to go home for a long time" she reaches for his hand, inches closer to him so she can kiss him "and dont worry about Ecklie he forgets we've got the Sherriff on our side"
(PS the ep that you two are trying to remember is "Pledging Mr Johnson")

(Thanks. Should've known you'd remember - it had some Sara/Nick interaction.)

Grissom led catherine inside, and ordered the usual. The waitress smiled at him, "And this lovely woman must be your date? Is she that woman you talk about... What did you say her name was," she tapped her pencil on her chin in thought. "Oh yes, Catherine!"
Grissom was surprised but glad the waitress remembered. Looking across, he was pleased that Catherine was just surprised as he was.

:)rolleyes: You probably thought I was going to have the waitress say Sara...)

(For a minute...yes lol)

Catherine blushed from the other side of the table. Why did he talk about her? She thought that she was no more than a regular friend to him, nothing special to talk about, but here he was, talking about her in a resteraunt. She didn't know why he was talking about her, but she really didn't care. She could tell by the expression on his face that it was for good reasons. "Oh?" Catherine said. "And what did Mr. Grissom tell you about me?" she asked with a smile after she had ordered.

The waitress, eager to please, replied, "You're his right hand! Well, that's what he says. He would be lost without you," she smiled good-naturedly at Grissom who seemed to be blushing but not really doing anything to stop her.
"You're very pretty, just like I thought you'd be. And you must be extremely smart to be a scientist. Well, I'll leave you two alone, I'll be back with your order."
She left, and Grissom let out a soft breath. Whenever he visited the restaurant, he always tried to avoid the chatty waitress, but he seemed to draw her, like a magnet. Well, that's just his luck.

He just smiled at Catherine, "I guess now you know that this isn't some pity date. I do think about you. Alot..."

Catherine blushed again and smiled. Her smile then faded when she thought about...."What about Sara?" she asked him. "I thought you loved her, and that you wanted to be with her." she said as she looked him in the eyes, which still did not have the sparkle that everyone was used to. She then looked at her hands as she waited for his answer.

Grissom frowned. he should've anticipated that question...
How could he explain? After he thought about it, he posed her the question, "Do you still care about Eddie? The father of your daughter?"
