"Law of Gravity" Discussion **Spoilers**

It was an fascinating, scratching my head, laughing my butt off episode!

Spanky!?!? Oh..that was just way too priceless! The look on Grissom's face was priceless! I was doing some howling! Hodges does have his moments!

Hmmm...as for the butt implants....I agree it was fascination for Nick. I would have probably reacted the same way. You hear about them, but never get an opportunity to actually hold them. Kinda baffles the mind. Who would want a butt implant? Although the look on this face when Doc mentioned they were on the other end was excellent! Did some laughing there. Nick was just amused!

Keppler. This guy had me scratching my head ever since he showed up. It was like he was out of his element. I felt like he was too evasive, hiding. Now the truth comes out and I'm in shock with my mouth on the floor. Talk about going for a ride! Let's go again! Him getting killed was not what I was expecting. That was a total shock! Totally unexpected!

Greg was in the show?!!? Oh..yeah..for about 0.000001 of a second! Hmmm....wonder what Greg was doing for the rest of the show?

Was it me or did one sense a bit of...tension when Grissom met Keppler? You could hear the static between them!

The box on Grissom's desk was driving me crazy! He looked at it and did something else! Torture I tell you!

All in all it was a good episode. My mom even said she was not happy that Keppler died.

They killed Keppler! I'm bummed, though. I enjoyed Liev Schreiber, the only thing I knew him from was the Scream movies. I was hoping that he'd be a recurring character, but, ah, well, what can you do? Glad Grissoms back, him and all his mountain manliness. That Hodges, oops, I mean Spanky, he's too much! Good ep, all in all. Open the box already!

Plus, IMHO, another indication of why she isn't ready to be a supervisor, she is too willing to make work relationships something else.

Hahahaha...okay this is a bit I don't know. Considering that Grissom is a supervisor and dating someone from the office it sounds hypocriticial.

I'm not sure that I think something was necessarily going on with Catherine and Keppler. Cath seems to care about the people she works with. She was pretty messed up when Nick was buried alive, and very involved with finding him. I think Cath was very emotional for a lot of reasons, but maybe one major one would be the simple fact that its a reminder of how her father died. This is the second person that has died in front of her from being shot. That's enough to trigger emotion on its own.

Personally, if Cath isn't ready for a supervisor role it would be because of all the crap she has gone through this season not that she is so anxious to start a relationship with everyone she works with. Just MHO!

Loved the epi, but have to re-watch it as I was squeeing like a schoolgirl every time Nick was on screen! I got the impression he was "playing dumb" around Keppler because he really didn't trust him. I think he figures if Keppler considers him as nothing more than a doofus, he'll let his guard down around him...and the look Nick gave later that was almost an "I knew it!" look justified that for me.

Loved the a**man comments and the baby holding. Lord, even babies are in awe of the man's beauty!

Thought the Griss/Sara thing was hilarious! But how come she didn't know he was going to be back? She seemed surprised to see him?!

Was really confused by Cath's behavior around Keppler... she was acting like a schoolgirl around the captain of the football team. And then the emotion she shows for him? Where was that emotion for Nick when he was buried alive?? You've known Kepp, like what, 4 weeks??? AND he got you to screw with your team's trust!

Loved Hodges as usual. Spanky...hmmmm!

Uh oh...Warrick's gambling again, huh? And do we know where Tina is??

I did watch last night's episode. I was crying when Kepler got shot. I didn't quite understand the episode though. The cop and the lady were found shot to death. Why did the old cop (Frank) kill them, and then did something to her hand? Amy was Frank's daughter..so why did he also do something to her hand? So Frank tells Kepler that some guy raped Amy, then Kepler kills a man. Frank lied to Kepler then right? Amy was never raped. Kepler killed an innocent man. What about the other lady Suzi? How is she involved in all this? What did the cop found dead in the room with that woman do wrong? Also the dead lady in the room had a baby girl?

Can anyone answer my questions?

Thanks

I get the feeling Nicky's given the scenes nobody else wants. Like the ass-man scene. That should probably have been Greg's because why would a CSI3 need confirmation from Keppy to run the serials on the implants? That's a CSI1 question.

The entire scene scremed Greg IMHO - the kind of humor, the ways he talked about sexuality is not the Nick I've seen before.

Why they're dumping scenes that does not fit his current state or personality is an enigma to me, but it's not the first time it's happened. So GE can pull off anything, and now he's paying for it? By doing scene others don't want? Why was he the only one really working with Keppy to begin with? Not that I complain, the more Nicky, the merrier I am. Just seems strange, that's all.

i didnt get this feeling at all from the scene. its true they cant make up their minds about how nick is feeling. but honestly, who can be pissed off for months straight? just because you may be stressed or depressed doesnt mean you have to be a sulky wuss all the time. he was having fun joking with co-workers.
he wasnt being naive, when else would he have encountered butt implants? i would have thought it was funny too. and hes just a man, when it comes down to it they all love boobs and bums
for grissom, i really liked that he came in to warricks scene and asked for directions from warrick. he lets his team do their thing. thats a really good thing in a boss when they dont bark orders at you but instead leave you to your own thing. shows they trust and respect you.
he was back to old grissom in this episode, quirky and lighthearted instead of alouf and broody. he was so excited talking to sara about the coccoon hatching and i think it just caught her off guard. he wasnt being ackward and distant for once so im sure she just wasnt expecting it.

Frank knew the other cop from Trenton and that cop knew that Frank had helped out Kepller whenhe killed the man that supposedly raped Amy.

Since Frank had 'helped' Keppler to hide evidence from the killing he did (the gun) he had leverage om poor Keppler. The other cop abviously knew about something and was now about to be indicted. So Frank was afraid that he would start talking to save his own skin. That's why he was killed. The 'working girl' had scratched Franks chest and had his DNA under her nails and had witnessed frank killing the cop, that was why she was murdered too. And yes, the baby Nick held was hers.

Frank didn't do anything to Amy's hand, the flashbacks kepplers was seeing was from Amy's suicide. When keppler heard Suzy talk about Frank calling her Amy the pieces fell together for Keppler and he understood that Amy was victim of incest and that he had killed an innocent man.

Oh please. Catherine fought for Nick, hard, and not just once. In Boom, when even Grissom was convinced by the evidence pointing out Nick had raped and murdered Kristy, who stood up for him and saved his a$$? When Nick was buried alive, who gave up her pride and went to her rich dad for the ransom money? She just cares for the people she works with (yes, even Keppler), and I really don't get why she gets blamed for that.

The one thing I reacted most strongly was Nick asking if he should run the serials? I'm sure he knows he should, just sounded very odd coming from a CSI3m especially when he later in the same ep ordrrs Wendy to expand the search to the East cost with griss in the same room. So why was ask Keppy if what he was doing was alright? And his wording seemed more Greg than Nick. The thing about having spent 12 hours ón a court bench? Didn't Greg have a hearing that finally got postponed? I found the entire scene hilarous but very odd, coming from Nicky :D The one that usually isn't that told Greg to get rid of te porn and concentrate on the motor magazines, and didn't react with glee to the 'spankables'

Easy, easy...

I'm just noticing that Cath seems to be acting out more than usual. She's usually in control of her emotions and thinks clearly. With Keppler it seemed like she was nervous around him like you would be if you were talking to the guy in school you had the crush on. I like Catherine, so don't go biting my head off.

I liked this episode for many reasons:

Hodges and Grissom talking at the beginning
Nicky looking at the implants
Nicky holding the baby (made me tear up)
Keppler's scenes
Sara's and Grissom's scene

I really enjoy epi, and really sad that Keppler died, he grew on me, Not enough Greg tho'. Nick is a Buttman, and Spanky, loved that/

^^^ LMAO. No I'm not going to do that to you. *pats*

I think the reason why she got emotional was she and Keppler had gone through a lot together within a very short time. Plus they must have spent a lot of time with each other at work. She was supposed to train him before he went to Day Shift, wasn't she? Giving these reasons, I think it was quite possible for them to become close friends even though they hadn't known one another long enough for other people. Plus, like some people have said, Catherine had witnessed her father's death not so long ago. She was grieving not only for Keppler but also for Sam. Not to mention that Keppler had just saved her life.

I want to see what's going to happen when Griss finally corners her and asks her what happened while he was away...that's going to be an interesting conversation.

*accepts pat on head that's not bitten off!*

Grissom cornering Catherine? Mmmmm what a scene would that be! Too bad I don't think TPTB will ever do that. :D Ah well, at least I have fanfics.
