Awww, I love Vegas, I think...

Been there twice. First time was when I was 16 with my parents and I couldn't stand still in any of the casinos cause I was underage. I loved watched all the randomn brides and drunk people in the middle of the day. Plus... cheap food!!

Second time I was 21, with a group of friends, and LOVED it! Got the limo/champagne tour, lost $2 in the slot machine before giving up, tried on Jimmy Choo's; "Men - The Show" was a definate highlight. ;) But almost died from the heat, yikes! English people cannot handle it!

Seriously though, I would love to get married there. It just looks like fun! Plus the hen night is sorted...

Britney Spears affection for champagne martinis and amaretto sours during a Las Vegas outing this week is putting those pregnancy rumors on the rocks. Recent photos have been raising speculation that baby #2 might be on the way, but Spears wasn't behaving like a mommy-to-be Tuesday while celebrating husband's 28th birthday. Spies said she had at least one cosmopolitian martini during dinner at Tao in The Ventian before partying on armatetto sours and Dom Perignon champagne until 3 am at Pure nightclub at Caesaes Palance. Most mothers-to-be don't drink alcohol during pregnancy, but then again most mothers don't hold their infant in their lap while driving. The 24-yr. old who has put her pop career on hold to start a family, danced on a VIP bed at Pure and nuzzled hubby Kevin Federline throughout the night

WHO NEW-? Apparently money can't buy everything!!! An ou-of-town high roller passed along this story. After dining at one of the more popular restaurants in town, he was in the mood for Cherries Jubilee. Aware that they were on the menuu at Michaels, the high -end restaurant at the Barbary Coast, he put in a call. he was told Michael's does not serve "just dessert" he offered $500 for a single order. "Money makes no difference", he was told, we just do not serve just dessert to anyone". The high roller upped the ante to $5,000. NO again. He offered to order an entire diner "to go" except for the dessert, which he wanted to eat at Michael's NO and No , was the answer. Undeterrd, the caller made one more desperate try--He said he was an agent for a well known celebrity (gave no name) who just wanted the Cherries Jubilee, which goes for $22 per person. No means No, he was told again. the maitre'd at Michaels said, it's a long time policy. so the caller finally gave up :(

I want to go to Vegas at least once in my life. I'm really fascinated by the casino industry (having worked for one), plus it just looks like a blast!

The city that never sleeps, I like the nickname ... fun, exciting, overwhelming, crazy, huge ... I HAVE TO GO OVER THERE

Hehe, I personally don't believe in the institute of marriage. But I will admit it seems kinda funny getting married by Elvis or an alien. But that's a discussion for another time... :)

desertwind, I have a question. Seeing as you live in Vegas...is there CSI Merchandise everywhere you look in Vegas? Are random giftshops full of CSI stuff? I've always been curious about that

It doesn't look someone answered your question, so I'll answer it for you.

When I went to Vegas, the MGM Grand has a shop, in which they sell quite a bit of CSI show merchandise. Other shops just have crime scene t-shirts and such.
