It's just a chick thing [Girl Talk!]

I do believe that you can fall in love at any age. And it's great when it happens. But that doesn't mean you have to do things you're not ready for.

^What she said. Dating someone doesn't mean you have to jump in bed together. Esp when you are still partly a kid.

^I'm sorry but that's poor excuse. I'm sorry but I cannot understand how you can say basicly that "it's ok for kids to have sex"

-It's the tv/movies
-World has changed, can't help it

"My girl is 11, she had sex with her 12 year old bf, but hey, what I can do. Kids. They do stuff"

Of course the social pressure among the girl is tough. AS someone pointed out, so easily referred as "losers" and because females are hostile and rude and they learn the evil stuff very young, it can turn to hell for someone who is kicked out of the "inner circle"

ETA: can we change to some other girl stuff? This just makes me sick.

^sure just one last quick comment...not all kids are like this, many of them arent. i was in re and we were doing about morals. we had to go to a different part of the room as to whether we agreed or disagreed with a sentence my re teacher was going to say. one of them was 'do you think it's right to have sex before marriage'. i was the only girl (and other than me there was only one boy) in a class of 29 who thought it was ok. and i'm not saying its ok for kids to have sex, 11 and 12 is a bit inappropriate, but then again, you can do what you want, just because someone is young, doesnt mean they loose their right to do something of their own free will.

anyway, make up eh?

Ouh! *scoffs* You girls get all the fun! On the other hand, if I opened a thread like this for us guys, you know what we'll talk about  .

Nyeh..have fun anyways.. *walks out*

you boys get off easy though! :p i was shopping with my mom this weekend, and she got a sweater for my brother. it was really nice, long sleeved and only $24.95! (canadian that is) first off, boys clothes are usually bigger, as boys are usually bigger, i have never gotten a nice long sleeved sweater for under $30, if its cheaper its poorly made and usually ugly. the exact same store charges less for boys clothes that have more fabric than the equivalent piece of clothing in girls clothes.
i also have major issues with pants. i cannot buy mid-priced pants. i am what you might call curvy, a true hour glass. my waist nips in but i have hips. cheap clothing producers (ie the gap, old navy, american eagle, and others) dont seem to realize that girls waists go in. you put on a pair of jeans and theres this massive space between your back and the top of the pants! and its true, the expensive designer brands do it right. why should i have to pay $200+ just to get a pair of jeans that actually fit and dont look like a sack?!?!

^ I have that problem too. In fact, the Gap is the only store where I can buy jeans/trousers that fit me like a glove and don't have that gap between my back and the top of the pants. I can sometimes find a pair in Next, but not without trying on about 8 different ones first

@ allmaple
For the first part of the problem: Why don't you just wear boys-sweaters then, if they are the way you want them ;)

And the second prob: Wear low-riders, they don't need to be tighter around the waist because they don't reach up to it. (And IMHO they look better too)

But I agree, clothes are way too expensive. Not just girls clothes by the way.

I can't really place the prices you mentioned, I'm not sure how much a dollar is in european currency, but really, I'd never buy pants that cost more than they are worth. And 200 sounds def too much, even if I have no idea how much it actually is...

erm, because i dont have a boy body? :p  theyre the price i like, doesnt mean id wear them myself ;)
as for pants, i wear them at my hips so they are 'low' in a sense but i dont have bum crack hanging out like other girls. still if i try on cheap pants theres a huge gap at the back, and then it looks stupid if you try to belt it because theres all this extra fabric
as for exchange rates when i went to france 5 years ago $2.50 canadian was about a euro, but our dollar has risen a lot over the last few years so im not sure what it is now.

Ok, bum crack hanging out is too low.
Although...it can be fun at school, like when you're bored and start throwing little paper balls at the girl in the front row, who provides a very nice aim with aforementioned crack showing
Oh, how I miss school sometimes. :D

thats mean to do that to people! lol, but funny!
heh heh i find clothes are way overpriced....but if theres no alternative......i mean i got a pair of jeans of fifty quid, and thats cheap!

its when you're lookin at t shirts and you find one you really like, and its, like, 30 quid.......and you're just like......

Oh gosh don't get me started on buying t-shirts, I have big boobs (which I hate) that only fit in a size 12 (uk size), but the rest of me is a size 10. So when I buy a T-shirt that fits over my boobs it just hangs and looks baggy every where else

^know what you mean. Not like mine are huge but I got a size 38 (german, think that's the same as 10 though) they're often very tight. But a size bigger always looks sluggish.
Just one of the many reasons I don't like shopping...
