Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Quote is from Big Brother.

The next sentences between Horatio & Yelina next are really great. Yelina immediately picks up the vibe that something is wrong. For those who don't remember, Horatio answers the phone and it seems Suzy has been busted for drugpossesion etc..

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

It’s so quiet in here these days… and we’re almost at the bottom of the page. Need to do something about that :)

Loving you is not just luck or illusion
It's in the make-up of our DNA
It's not by chance we make the perfect solution
Don't fight it baby, you know that it's just destiny's way

Baby lovin' you
Comes easily to me
It's what I'm living for
It's all in the chemistry
Baby lovin' you
Is how it's meant to be
It's something that is oh so natural to me

Lyrics taken from S Club 7 song “Natural”

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Nice to hear from you again, ametista. Been on Thanksgiving holiday myself, and I'm glad there has been concerted effort here to keep moving, even tho' we don't know where we're going a lot of the time! (Are we going to be reduced to posting 'the prettiest Y ever was', or 'the sexiest moment', or 'the scene I hated most?') I hope the strike is resolved soon, so we get some kind of forward motion for our characters, but I really see the perspective of the writers - they should be paid for their stuff that the producers place on the internet.

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Thanks for the lovely pics and the lyrics ametista. :D Things have been a little slow lately, but we're still hoping that we will get some kind of H/Y development this season. In reality, the H drama (minus Yelina) keeps on rolling on...and on...

Absolutely. Fingers crossed that the pending talks won't break down.

Hey drgnldy, nice to see u here. Hope u had great time in ur Thanksgiving holiday. :)

And thanks for this lovely pics and the lyrics ametista. :)

In reality, the H drama (minus Yelina) keeps on rolling on...and on...

Maybe we have to invite H or Ann D. on ours bike walk by the rever and give them some advice. ;)

Btw when Ann D. go on the strike have to be a lot cautious to not come in the hands of angry CSI Miami fans.

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

^ Very true. ;) I wonder what Ann's views are regarding the strike? I imagine she is sympathetic, but it would be interesting to know. Once upon a time (in a galaxy far, far away) I used to hold her views in high regard, during the good 'ol days of the first 3 seasons.

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Considering recent news regarding Kyle's mom, I reckon the strike's a good place for Miami to be just now. Holy Idiotic plot devices, Batman!

...and the hits just keep on coming for H & Y....

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

^ Tally, you are so right about that. Good grief! If that's the best they can come up with, then it really is a dire state of affairs in the Miami writing room right now. Not to mention the casting. Eek!

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Maybe this whole strike process will end up separating the wheat from the chaff, and we will end up with something better than we've had if we're only patient.

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Problem here is that the "wheat" part has already been separated, packed its bags and headed north i.e. Stevie Maeda left. We've been dealing with chaff since end of S3.

So we have, more or less just degrees of chaff with which to contend. *sigh*

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

You're right, Tally, and Pusher is right, too when she says some of us take it too seriously. I need detox, and a way out of these winter/December doldrums. Where is spring when you really need it? Miami no longer provides that serotonin high. Give me some lovely wildflowers and spring scents wafting through the air. . .Maybe H will one day bring Y flowers. . .(only if he wants something!).

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

^ I don`t know about the spring, but Christmas time soon is here. ;) And ametista new H/Y banner just make my day. :D

re the news regarding Kyle's mom I love one Lucy comment in Miami forum days ago:

So, does Horatio not get involved with women who aren't at least 15 years younger than him? Maybe that's where Yelina has been going wrong all these years. It has nothing to do with the fact that she was his sister-in-law. She's clearly too old for him! ;)

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Hee, well I think my sarcasm is starting to get the better of me with these daft storylines. What next, Horatio discovers Marisol has frozen some eggs and he seeks a surrogate mother for their children? Oops, better not give them ideas. :p

Onto far more inspiring thoughts, ametista, I love the banner! :D

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Lucy & Pusher you’re welcome re pics and lyrics :D It was a big pleasure to post them.

Lucy I love you sarcasm & your comments so much fun to read. Don’t hold back ;)

Thank you so much re my Christmas banner :D

It seems that the more ridiculous csi:miami gets, the more inspired I feel towards H/Y.

I guess, if Miami no longer provides that serotonin high (as drgnldy said) you just find other ways to get it :D

Lucy your ava, is that the unscripted BG kiss you’ve been talking about?
