Pusher said: Humm... Why TGTB birng Yelina back ?! ... this is obviously... because they can! But when I see sensible reason for this then I won`t be so sceptical. Rio and this new premiere are a lot like kid picture - they have a lot pastels and want to use all colour at the same time. Quest after this what is the main point?!

I agree with you, Pusher! Because they can. Very well said ! Also, someone else remarked that it was to draw viewership for the opener and as a tool to explain Kyle's existence. Again, I agree. I also think that they had a little 'egg on their face' about the way they let her go after season 3 and that her fans have been fairly vocal about their dissapointment over it and I think that maybe they are throwing us a bone, so to speak. Whatever the reason, I really enjoyed the show and her performance and I hope that I am being a silly pessimist and that we will see much more of her in the future and that it will involve lots of interaction with our good friend, St. Horatio.

BTW, can I get a piece of that cake? And could you make it sugar free, fat free...oh yeah and calorie free? Ummmmm...that was the most delicious cardboard I have ever eaten! Thanks for the tasty treat!

Because they can? Mm what if SM decides not to do any more random episodes? What are they going to do then? :)

They must have other plans for her.. more definate plans

From your mouth to God's ears! So say we all!

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

I just watched the vid, thanks again Pusher. Is it just me or are both DC ans SM looking younger and better than in season 5?

I must say I much prefered 'Burned' to this. It felt more like 'Rio' as mentioned. Very rushed I think, hence very little time for H/Y flirting. But the looks and chemistry are still there.

I like the very first H/Y scene, the looks they exchanged, both were obviosuly very happy to see each other. H thanks her for coming to meet him, she figured he needed her help and also hadn't seen her in awhile so was happy to come meet him. Evident she misses him and I think they've been in contact more recently than in 'Burned' but in her opinion still not enough. And the minute she sees Kyle's photo she suspects something, she must have noticed some resembalnce. The parting looks from that scene also very powerful between the two, they looked almost sad to part ways. The longing looks they gave each other and H watching her leave, very sweet. Or like someone mentioned he was checking out her legs!

The next two scenes were ok, all business like and about Kyle. I like that H made no attempt to hide anything from her. I think he trusts her implicitly, and the barriers seem to still be crumbling. He shows his emotions on his face in front of her, and she reads him well still. Especially the part where she said he'd make a good father. She was so supportive of him but at the same time she seems almost sorry that he had to find out about his son this way and that the kids's in so much trouble. H on the other hand seemed unconvinced he'd make a good father, of course we never get to see his response to her statement. I think from that point on H was more preoccupied with Kyle to have anymore flirting with Y.

I'm glad they let Sofia have a whole scene of her own investigating Kyle's background. H seemed abit more emotional this ep, not the ususl super-H, as always with Y around. Yay! H is becoming more human! :p

I don't like how they ended off, H just walking away from her like that. No parting words like in 'Rio' or 'Burned'. I understand the ep was all about H and Kyle, and he was concerned for Kyle, still it would have been nice to see meaningful last words exchanged between the two.

I'm afraid that that's probably how it's going to be this season, H/Y will probably be on the back-burner, and I'm not sure when and why we'll see Y again. It looks like the only time H still looks for her is when he needs her help. Although they really have nothing between them anymore, unless they want to make this Julia person re-appear, then maybe Y will get jealous. That'll be fun to see.

I think like Lucy said they'll milk H/Y for as long as they can. Well there's still a whole season to go, so let's hope for better things.

The chocolate cake looks fantastic. Can I have a slice? And Pusher I'm gonna make some icons out of your screencaps. :D

Tally, love the alligator analogy. If only the writers were even remotely aware of how symbolic this could be.

Exactly. Think this was the best part of the ep., well aside from the conversations by open bodies of water. Don't think they're into symbolism, Swanny. Much too taxing. :) Still just gotta, gotta LOVE the alligator. Wish H had one as well tied to the Hummer or to his leg...

Since this has been brought up here, I believe some folks in the Miami forum speculated that Sofia had been "botulinum-ed" over the summer hence the er, newish bloom. It's a one heck of a potent neurotoxin; might as well be used for the forces of good.

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Please sign me up to the alligator fan club! I meant to comment on this. Any symbolism on Miami has to be purely coincidental of course. Definitely too much of a stretch, but I also loved the analogy. :D

Lol, CSI Miami could do a Miami Vice – like Crockett and his alligator Elvis. Horatio needs a companion. :)

HaHaHa this comment make my day. Thanks! :D

(for those who miss this beautiful scene)

Horatio needs a companion.

Yep, so say we all. :D If H can handle this alligator I`m sure in the future he handle and Yelina too

BTW Hrockz go ahead and make tons of new H/Y avas. ;)

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Thanks Pusher I already did as you can see from my new ava. :D And thanks for the gator scene now I can see what you guys were talking about.

Pardon me but I don't get what symbolism you guys are talking about with the gator. Enlighten me?

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

^I don't entirely get it either, Hrockz, but I wonder whether the aligator is the GTB, ready to cut Sofia off at the knees (again).

They must have other plans for her.. more definate plans
I hope these plans don't include killing her off. Those 'monsters' (to use a Pusherism) are so weird that you just never know what they will throw at us. Nothing is off limits if they think it will produce enough angst for H. They need to change the music - every episode should begin with another chorus of 'Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen.'

BTW Silk, if no one sees you eat it, there are no calories! :D

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

That alligator had me in stitches for a while.

Yelina: You gotta be kiddin' me!

She delivered it perfectly :D

TGTB can be cruel sometimes but they wouldn't go asfar as killing her off IMO that'd just be suicide :)
