Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Thanks for the vid Pusher. As I said, I won't be able to see it till Thursday, and I can't wait.

So Kyle's mother wasn't a one night stand? Cos I got confused by reading what was posted in the Miami forum. It was more like she was H's girlfriend when he was undercover?
Were there any good quotes like in my siggy from 'Whacked' or 'Burned'? Sorry for the many questions. :p

I guess I'll have more to comment on after I've seen the vid. More on Thursday from me then. I don't want to form any opinions yet based on what was posted here.

We are expecting ur epi review and thoughts Luce & Hrockz. :)

Hahaha. I think that few more days in bad with a lot medicine soon will do similar magic work. ;)

What can I say about H ?! One epi can`t change my mind that H still have softer aspect. I laugh at few very silly H quotes/actions. The same old, the same old. For the first time when TGTB try to told us the whole story in one epi, they again don`t make it good. I still can`t get it how H one first look at Kyle case and after this the boy feel that this is his own blood. Is this 'sixth sense' movie ?! Come on TGTB this have to be 60 or 90 min epi and see what happen ... one rush begining... (remember Rio ?! ) Also wtf was doing H and Yelina by the water when we see them together for first time in the epi... they only look and smile at each others.. I was start wonder did my sound card work. Ok ok it was nice to see them again on the screen, but... I don`t feel anything... just the next Miami epi... and I don`t think ever will be like S 1-3. ... what next... ahhh yep... what will be most silly from TGTB is to said in the end that coz H was dump before 16 years, he is still afraid from seriously relationship. But with this monsters I won`t be surprise at all. .. ahh one more thing... why H never try to find this lady ?! This is Super Robo H after all ?! ... Even Kyle to be good character agian we are stick on the 'son' part... in Rio H call Ray Jn 'son' million times and now bingo he have his own son. poor boy... Didn`t H mom never hugs little Horatio, coz now he run after every boy and call him son ?! And why TGTB decide that in this epi have to be uncover and Kyle mom info too. (or secret)?! Where is the surprise part in the future epis ?! Drama or speculation?! Don`t know why but to me stay very strangely and not in place for H and Yelina to talk so openly re Jullya. Why we never see similar chat about Aerosol ?! Or they just decide to forgot the S 4 year. I still don`t know did I like this new H plot line or not... but if H still keep make this puppy face expression for sure will make me start scream. And re Yelina, I think she make good job. But somehow I was expect she to make some dangerous P.I. action work not only paper work for H .... upsss sorry this mix random thoughts... too many medicine. ;)

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Well seems Pusher beat me to it. I would've put it online this morning but I was to tired.

Anyway here's my review on the episode.

The episode itself? It was pretty boring. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that H' son was the worst kept secret? OR maybe cause I was watching it this morning at 5am (so only 5hours sleep), I don't know. H/Y wise, it was okay but not as good as Burned. Well maybe now I think about it the H/Y moments were pretty good aswell, just not enough of those :)

What I loved between them was, that Yelina told him she hadn't seen him in a while. Sure it's a bit of negative thing BUT it shows that Yelina truly misses him a lot. The woman has mentioned it in Burned also so.. :) Yelina also searched contacted with him, not otherwise. This may sound bad, since we all want H to take the first step. But in my opinion it isn't, what would you rather have that one of them takes a step forward to meet each other or that they just stumble into each other now and then? But it was very nice of Horatio to tell her immediately when he found out about his son. And in that episode, omg I loved that moment, when Yelina arrives in her, let me say SWEET car, and there's this crocodile/alligator tied to a post and she goes like "You got to be kiddin' me." The way she delivered the line, it was briliant. Or when the guy told her, he didn't collect any money anymore on Kyle since he has to go back to Juve. Her reaction, superb. And no no I'm not finished yet! When she asks if he still has stuff of Kyle. Instead of showing her, he tells her where she could find it. Pissed off as she was, cause it was a real dirty place and she was dressed in high heels & white clothes, when she walked away she straightened her clothing in annoyance :)

I actually liked that moment a lot. Nothing was said for a couple of seconds and yet with those looks they exchanged they said SO much about there feelings for each other :)

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Yes, she was his girlfriend when he was undercover. No good quotes that I can think of - it wasn't like the dialog was magical or anything. And I wouldn't call what they did standing next to the river/canal 'flirting.' Wish I could. Y always looks pained, like she has so much compassion for him and so much regret and desire about him. She's just trying to be a good friend and its hard when what she would really like to do is just hold him! That's my take, anyway. H seemed more at ease with her than in 'Burned,' but I didn't see any desire on his part - just the comfortableness of long friendship. Guess that's where its gonna be for him. Yuck. :(

Our satelite service is being installed this afternoon, so I should be able to see Pusher's vid and pics SOON! Yipee! :D

Can hardly wait to hear what the rest of you think after seeing the epi. :)

WOW! Two other people writing while I was writing! I was actually replying to Hrockz, but Pusher and Kit got in ahead of me. Kit, I love what you said about all the moments/mannerisms of Y - that's what I like so much about her character. But I still get blown away by the way she dresses to be a PI. Somebody said 'just remember this is Miami', but reealllly. I have to wonder whether she kept some of Raymond's drug money from Brazil, 'cause she really dresses well and drives a great car for a widow without her husband's pension (presumably she has one of her own), and trying to succeed in her own business.

Pusher, hope you feel better soon. . . you REALLY need to get off those drugs!

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Well I also didn't think they flirted next to the river. To be honest, there wasn't room to flirt in this episode. Finding out that you possible have a kid you didn't know about is pretty unusual. But yet, like I said in my post above. Their looks and smiles tell you they still care for each other etc.

Oh and I forgot something in my review of the episode. No offense to the Calleigh/Delko fans but I personally hate that storyline. I've never seen anything between Calleigh and Delko that goes beyond mutual respect and friendship and now they're just forcing it upon us. Well that's how I experience it :)

I`m with u on this score. How many years we have this - H smile and say nothing, even the dog that I walk every evening do more to show his love to me then H to Yelina. I`m tired from looks between H and Yelina. We need more or at last something new. Can u hear me TGTB ?!

But if I have to admit the fact that Yelina feel sorry for H (almost pity he) make me.. er... make H fall in my eyes even more... don`t know how to explain it better... this is more personal... I just hate this type of men - when only they suffer, they have the bigest drama ... evrything is about (around ) them... etc...

Hey drgnldy do not forgot bring some cookie here when ur satelite service is being installed . :D

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

We mustn't forget that Horatio is probably still struggling with the fact that she is his sister-in-law and she'll always will be. I hope that Yelina tries to seek more contact with Horatio and that they get their flirting groove back on :) Horatio is always more human when she's there :D

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

People are writing faster than I can keep up - I love it! Action! After reading what ya'll wrote, I went back and editted my post, and came back to discover there had been MORE conversation!

I just hate this type of men - when only they suffer, they have the bigest drama ... evrything is about (around ) them... etc...
I've always felt that H just needs to get over himself. . .

Ani, if all goes well this afternoon, there will be double chocolate cake, accompanied by either a nice red zinfindel or cold milk, depending on your preference. ;)

midnight_tiptoes reference to 'awkward flirting' is not necessarily meant to be taken literally, but more tongue in cheek. ;)

Pusher, hope you feel better soon. . . you REALLY need to get off those drugs!

no worry dear, my real drug begin this evening - re House M.D. S4 premiere. Yay. This keep me alive.

If Yelina is still and always will be Horatio sister-in-law I put all my money that this redhair is gay. Hope this season at last we to have chance for somethe Horatio/Stetler development. Sweet couple, don`t u think ?! ;)

Since the start of Season 4 I learned not to think to hard about those things. Guess what they say is true. A lot of braincells die watching CSI Miami the last 2 years

Yes I love the action here aswell, it's refreshing for me. I became a fan last year in August so that was after Season 4.. so it was all quiet here about H/Y. Except the fact we just learned she'd return in episode "Rio". Wonder what this thread was like when she was in every single episode.

Every SINGLE episode, sounds frickin' good doesn't it?!

Oh and how did he figure out it could be his son? Well on the child services file, it shows that he was born in Pensacola in 1991. When he read pensacola he probably thought back of his short relationship with Julia... That's one reason to explain why he thinks he might have a son.

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Pusher, took me a minute to figure out 'wtf' in one of your posts above, but now that I get it I would have to agree with you!

Kit, I think you're right about braincell death. It's like being addicted to a drug that you know isn't good for you and you don't even enjoy that much any more, but you just can't STOP. . .and every time you indulge your habit, more brain cells die!

ooohh, sorry. Probably too subtle for my concrete brain. . .

That's the best explanation I've heard, altho' we're still talking about a large population for him to be 'what if-ing' about. Maybe the kid bears a huge resemblance to his mom. Or maybe, like everything else, its just not important how the dots are connected.

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Well I could easily stop watching CSI Miami and just get the episodes where there's H/Y.. BUT I like Horatio still so why shouldn't I watch eh?

Just rewatched the scene where they meet at the canal/river. The "I haven't seen you in a while." was SO powerful! She still cares for him a lot, but she doesn't want to push him into anything. But she definately wants him in her life again like in S1 til S3.. Wonder if H is finally going to do something about it.

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Well I could easily stop watching CSI Miami
yeah, yeah. . . that's what they all say: 'I can quit whenever I want to.' ;)

Yep, I think she's still got it for him, I'm just very afraid he doesn't have it for her any more. :(

Re: Horatio/Yelina #8: Waiting A Lifetime For A Moment Like

Well he's had a lot on his plate also, true Yelina also but still.. I think he still feels the same way about her too, it's just not as obvious anymore. The smile is still there so...

The scene where she said "touching" to the guy who collected money from Kyle, she reminded me of Stella Bonasera. Which is a good thing! Never expected to see a scene like that in csi miami :D
