That game was crazy! I watched all 6 periods and every body was just every where. The Wings out shot the pens by 26 shots! I cant believe Osgood let that one in at the end of the third, seemed impossible, I thought we had it. But thats hockey for you lol. Mostlikly we'll take it on Penguine ice. Highly doubt the pens can push it to a game 7. But only fait will tell.

I am so bummed Detroit lost last night. At least I was able to sleep though....no horn honking keeping me awake all night. I didn't watch the game but I suspect they started celebrating too early.

My god that game was intense last night, I stayed up and watched the whole thing but I was getting frustrated because I wanted to go to sleep. Oh boy it was good though, I think that Marc-Andre Fleury is the only reason that game went on so long, The Penguins played good... But Detroit played better. yeah Sykora and Fleury both get fruit baskets, Sykora allowed me to go to sleep :) and Fleury played phenomenal!

And that they did! Did you get any sleep last night Kat? I bet it was crazy up there! Down here you'd have never known anything happened at all...unless you happened to be near my apartment

Hmm, well, at least the Penguins lost. :D

(Apologies to all people who aren't quite so happy about that)

Sami Kapanen is going back to Finland (or wherever he's from if it's not, in fact, Finland). Flyers will probably go after a few defensemen this off-season, and hopefully Gagne stays healthy next year...yep, there's plenty to look forward to in 2008-2009 other than endless political attack ads.

Yeah, comes to play to team that he owns (among some other players, such as Kimmo Timonen) - it's KalPa (from Kuopio) - they've had some financial problems and haven't done so...erm... well in our league :p It's my 2nd fave team!

Hockey games are on and the conversations are dead. Nice:p

Im upset that I missed the NYR v.s. Dallas stars game.......mainly because

Sean Avery is on that team. Ever since I heard that they were playing

against each other I wondered what the ``re-union``would be like.

And as always the agrrigator is up to his old tricks. During warm ups he

began to piss off the NYR players. No surprise.

And even during the game, but the guys on the NYR team stepped up and

defended their own player. This is just one example how this team has

truly changed, for the better. I didn`t like him when he(Avery) was on the

team, now its even worst. I`m glad he`s not part of this team, he was

dragging the image of the NYR down the gutter. Although, others would

argue that things were not as bad - the NYR won several games because

he was part of the team.

Before the NYR depended on the talent of great hockey players like Jagr,

Shanahan, Avery, Gomez. Now NYR are a team`s team. And things are looking

better, even with a few losses. And guys like Sean Avery should learn that you

cannot break a team like NYR, even if he was on this team once this team is

    better than before.

Man, I haven't even realised it's real season already because got so frustrated with pre-season stuff
I am still mad that I didn't have any money when ticket sale for the Penguins game that was played in here started. My dear Penguins.

Oo, Canadiens are doing well so far <3

And Koivu brothers are kicking ass... quite interesting fact... they are both their team captains at the moment ;)

    Amen to that.
I never really minded Avery when he played for NYR, but now that he's gone it's like "wow, all he did was make us look awful".
Bit disappointed that we ended up losing to Dallas though, woud have been nice to show him that we are better off without his antics.

Anyways, here's hoping that the Rangers beat the Pens tonight. But something tells me that they won't :shifty: - please let me be wrong.
Even if NYR does get beat I probably won't be too upset because I think that Sidney Crosby is a little cutie pie, so I'm happy when he wins too. ;)

I'm glad to see a fellow Rangers fan. Nice to share thoughts on the team.

As for Pens tonight, I 'm nervous as hell. I remember last years Stanley

Cup playoffs. The Pens were just wild out there. Personally, I don't like

the way they play - way too agressive. Hockey is a competitive sport but

there are times where you have to draw the line in the sand and start

    giving out penalties.

I actually felt bad for Red Wings, they were fighting for their lives -against

Pens. Every minute felt like eternity. And although I'm not a Redwings fan, I'm

glad they won - they deserved it. They worked hard, they fought.

And I hope that the NYR get a chance to win the Cup this year. (keeping my

fingers crossed). I belive it has been the dream of the NYR players for a while

now, Lets bring the cup home guys. LETS GO RANGERS!
