Harper's Island

Can someone please tell me what Madison said at the end? My TV went glitchy when she told Abby who had been holding her.

They sort of neglected to mention how Henry ended up standing on the dock with his hands covered in blood, but oh well.

I noticed that about the innkeeper too- she seemed a little weird... I'm wondering if she has a hand in all of this as well. I guess we'll find out- how many episodes are left again? I can't keep track!

Madison asked Abby is she enjoyed the game. Abby said what game. Madison said by the man who was holding me... your father.

Yeah the innkeeper did seem a little strange and we haven't seen that much of her, but there is no way she could have killed Trish's cousin, Richard and Uncle Marty, the priest and Malcolm they way they were killed. If it is her, she's got help. My money is till on Jimmy. Him finding that missing page was just way too convenient.

Was anyone else happy to see Henry just kicking the crap out of Shane?! Talk about someone who deserves to be smacked. The cinematography and directing on this episodes was really good. Some very creepy moments. Only four more episodes to go.

Well, they did & they didn't. Later when Abby was talking to Henry, she asked him if JD had said anything to him when he found him, so we're supposed to assume that Henry actually had found JD first.

I agree about Charlie. There's no way he could've killed JD or the burned guy, so they're definitly screwing with us. As far as Madison goes, she's a little nut so I'm not too sure what to think of her telling Abby about her Father holding her there. When Madison first disappeared she had gotten a letter & then the door slammed. I think that maybe there were instructions on the note telling her where to go & to hide there - maybe the "sender" even told her it was for fun, it was a game & that Abby would like it - it could've been signed by Charlie but not really written by him. Madison likes her little games, so it's possible she was just playing along, & the killer is just trying to pin it on Charlie.

The Innkeeper - she's possible I guess. Hadn't really thought about her helping the killer. Can't imagine what kind of motive she'd have, unless she ends up being like Wakefields' sister or something crazy like that.

Jimmy? I really like him, but he does seem suspicious. What makes me want to think that it's possibly him is because of his backstory with Abby. Henry & Trish have thier lovestory in play because it's what brought everyone to the island, for thier wedding, so showcasing that is understandable. But, they seem to be going back & forth with Jimmy & Abby as if thier "romance" has a purpose in this story. It seems very possible that Jimmy could be doing all this in order to keep her. The only thing that is questionable is when she was in the tunnel & someone grabbed her leg - Jimmy was with Henry & the gate had her trapped - & sorry but that innkeeper would not fit in that tiny little tunnel. Could it be that Abby was just freakin' out thinking that someone was grabbing her? I don't remember seeing another body or hand grabbing her.

I saw the hand and the pants of the person who grabbed Abby. They were wearing blue pants... and not like blue jeans. But like blue dress pants. Not navy blue, but a little lighter blue.

I don't think Jimmy is suspicious anymore. At first, kind of, but no... not after the previews for next week's ep where
he appears to be on that boat when it explodes and the others are screaming at him to get off the boat
.

There was something in this ep that I found really stupid. Henry and Jimmy were talking about how they wouldn't fit in the crawl space, Abby said she could. Then on the other end, Sully and the long-haired dude (still don't know his freakin' name lol) were talking and Sully says there was no way he was going in there, but the other dude said he'd go. Um... sorry but Henry and Jimmy, especially Henry is nearly super skinny and the long haired dude is kind of muscular and wide-shouldered. If he could fit in that crawl space then I know Henry or Jimmy could have as well.

As for Charlie, I was thinking about it and I think maybe it's possible that Madison never saw the face of the guy who took her. Maybe he had a jacket and hat on like Charlie wears, but his face was shadowed so she couldn't see his true identity and she just assumed it was Charlie.

Yeah, but she didn't say "Charlie" she said "your father", right? Maybe the guy told Madison he was Abby's father, and that's why she said that- not because it was Charlie. Madison seems to see a lot for someone so young, so she could probably buy that Charlie isn't Abby's real father, necessarily.

Yeah well... I still don't know who did it. I've sort of been thinking Jimmy, but who knows?

I noticed that too! They also made the tunnels look really narrow when Abby & long-haired dude was crawling through there, but then when they showed Beth, she was all slouched to one side & it suddenly looked more roomy.

Ok, I didn't see that. I thought all I was seeing was Abby's legs, but as I said earlier I was about ready to faint just watching them crawl through that thing, so...there ya go. Speaking of which, this killer surely is a pretty strong man to hoist up dead people & strap them to trees, so he wouldn't have fit in that tunnel either. Oh well, I don't think they expected us to point out these little "oopsies".

Yeah, but she didn't say "Charlie" she said "your father", right?
I believe she said "Your father, the sheriff".

I wonder if this will end like a horror movie with one of those ending scenes that has us thinking there might be a part 2. Something about Madison really creeps me out so I could see her at the very end of the last epi saying something spooky & it's left hanging like the ending of 'The Bad Seed' or something.

OK, so if she referred to her father as the sheriff, then it's a whole other ballgame. Although exactly what other kind of ballroom... I have no idea!

I guess it's safe to say I really have no idea what's going on here. ;)

Hmmm... gotta say I'm a bit disappointed with the big reveal tonight. And I dunno... I think Jimmy's still involved somehow. Hmmm.

I was planning on turning on The Wedding Date, but when I turned on CBS on I was immediately fascinated. I haven't watched this show in forever. So, literally, these are comments from 9:45 on.

~Kisses aren't that interesting, since I don't know who spiky-hair guy or girl-with piercing-on-nose are. Why catch up on the show when I can just guess?
~Zomg, BritishGuy (I know his name is Cal) got shot! It's, like, the best way to get shot in a show. Kiss your girlfriend before going into the line of fire.
~The little girl got so much less creepy.
~Well that sucks. I liked that she realized what was about to happen instead of it being one of those "I love y- *dead*".
~Wow, Wakefield's alive. I saw that coming, which is weird because like I said I only saw the first three episodes.

Next Week:

I'm not sure I like the idea of Jimmy being a bad guy. Maybe I'm not qualified to make this comment, but I just think it would be a little harsh on the poor main character. Abby deserves five seconds of happiness at the end of the show. Or maybe I blinked and missed it.

I don't think Jimmy is involved. That's too obvious and would be too Scream-like. This isn't written by Kevin Williamson is it? I hope not. Oh and I finally caught the long haired guy's name: Danny.

Maggie or whatever her name is got killed. I knew that was gonna happen as soon as she said "this has nothing to do with me" and left. I think Nikki is the second killer though. I mean, where the heck has she been all this time? She's the only one who hasn't been seen much with the others. I think Wakefield's child with Sarah was a girl and I think it's Nikki. She could be lying about her age. could easily have fake ids and whatnot. I think Nikki is the one who killed those cops. Those hands they showed at the time don't seem to match Wakefield's hands. They were too young, too small and too thin and too pale. They match Nikki's skin tone perfectly.

I mean they can't make Jimmy be Wakefield's child with Sarah cause ew... considering he and Abby have kissed and if he was Wakefield's child and one of the killers, he'd know and would knowingly be kissing his sister. And I do think the second killer (if there is one) is Wakefield's child with Sarah. Charlie was pretty insistant that Abby was his and not Wakefields. So that must mean Wakefield's child with Sarah is someone else. My bet is on Nikki. Who else could it be? Everyone else has been with the group.

So this episode, only ones who got killed besides the two cops (who were definite canon fodder from their very first scene... I knew they weren't gonna last long) were CHarlie and Maggie, right? I'm glad Jimmy's not actually dead. And I'm glad that the sheriff said he made a deal for Jimmy to stay alive (otherwise I'd have no choice but to think Jimmy was involved and I just think it'd be too predicatable at this point). But, I'm sad that they killed off Charlie. But how predictable was it that Wakefield was still alive? I thought that all along until they found the skeleton then I thought briefly that maybe it wasn't really Wakefields bones. And I guess we have confirmation that it's not.

I still want to know why Cole sent his dog after Trish and her dad that time though. They never explained that. And where's the little doggie now that Cole is dead?

Ok, well this just sorta blows! :wtf:

Wakefield's alive....oooh shocker.
I'm still confused though. Why Abby? Even if Jimmy is helping him, what does Wakefield get out of it?! I really hope there isn't some disgusting twist where Jimmy is a product of Wakefield & Abby's mom's love affair.....ewwww?
So, next week's teaser looks as if it's Jimmy as killer #2....or are we just supposed to think that -- just like we were supposed to think that Charlie was the killer from the previous promo.

A few random thoughts on the epi.
Poor Abby. Talk about the need for a therapist
Madison...still a bit creepy for me. *bad seed, bad seed*
The innkeeper's death.....totally saw that one comin'.
Cal....again....saw it comin'.
Trish....are you angry at Abby or not? :shifty:
Henry....he sticks up for Abby! *hugs him*

Yeah, that's about all I got right now. I'm still too confused on everything else.

Edit:
Hmmm....GNRFan, you may have just made a very good observation about Nikki. Sorry, hun, I have no idea where the little doggy is....probably hiding under a bush somewhere, lol.

Trish did seem to go back and forth didn't she? And Henry's just a doll for always standing up for Abby. No wonder they are best friends. :)

I had a thought that maybe if someone's helping Wakefield, maybe it was a child Abby's mom had (from Wakefield) but gave up, and now this person wants revenge on Abby because she got to have a normal upbringing (relatively) or something? That's why I was suspecting Jimmy, but that would be a little creepy since they used to date- I mean, she would have been making out with her brother. Bleh.

Incidentally, once the show has aired on it's official night, you don't really need to use spoiler codes. I sometimes do it because I see an earlier airing of it(Thursdays) and nobody else seems to get to see it then. But if you watch it Saturday, I don't think spoiler codes are necessary. It's nice of you to be considerate though! :)

Well, I think there are still some time zones who haven't seen it yet. So I try to remember to use the spoiler bars until midnight my time. By midnight my time, usually everyone has seen it unless they recorded it or something.
