H/Cal #5 - DuCaine...Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder

Hello!! I'm here too!! Y'all didn't forget about me?? Great to see y'all here! :) I just wanted to post a reply while I'm taking a study break!!

I've seen the promo as well, mjszud, and I'd have to agree! :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:It looks cool anyway, with Horatio getting all emotional. That's been missed. And Calleigh looks really pretty in all the promo pics as well. Soo exciting to be getting new eppies!! :) I'm even more psyched for the new scenes with H and Cal!! Deffo!! :) :)

@ SpeedsDaughter: Wow!! I am loving that manip, it is so cool and beautiful!! :) Great job!
On that 'wedding' note, I had a dream a few days ago. I saw Horatio and Calleigh in seperate houses getting ready for a wedding. Cal's dress looked like this: http://www.emilyprocter.de/cpg149/albums/guinevere/guinevere04.jpg
And Horatio was in that tux in HCrazy's manip. :)
Anyway, the dream switched to the church and the ceremony had Pachelbel's Canon in D playing in the background.(I've been practising that song on the piano so much for my Music exam, I still hear it in my sleep!! :lol:) So after the wedding, there were some photos with the team, and then for the last photo, they kissed!! :drool: That's when I woke up!! And that was ever before seeing SpeedDaughters manip!! :)
And sweet pic from 'Going Under'!! That's what we want to see, right there!! :)

@ miamirocks: Oh wow. Question: Have you been in my head, because 'Hello' always reminded me of DuCaine!! :) :) It's so sad and really beautiful always makes me cry. And it completely describes Horatio watching Calleigh from afar and being so unsure of how to tell her he loves her. *sniff*
Somewhere down the road, hopefully, he'll find a way to express his feelings for her. If the recent spoilers are anything to go by, we'll see some concern on Horatio's part.
Or else, I'll weep. :p :lol:

At the mo', the new scenes look promising, and could be the boost we need to get back on track! Anything is something, right? And you can't ignore the chemistry, because the evidence never lies. :)

Now keep in mind this is just my speculation on what is coming up, but so far we have in the first of the 2-parter, the Katheleen Newberry case (which is an obvious connection to Julia) along w/ Horatio & his own problems.
Then enter pt. 2 & Calleigh is swiped by a couple of idiots; H is arrested for Riaz's murder thanks to Julia.
See the connection here, guys???;)
Im leaning towards the theory that Julia is behind this, Calleigh is the one left in charge & she is also the one who originally had all the evidence in the Newberry case. Thats complete motive for Julia to have her kidnapped.
or possibly even a way for Cruella herself to get the rest of the team sidetracked (finding Cal) so that she can get her claws into Horatio.
Just a theory, but one that could lead to some very nice scenes;)

It seems very coincidental all of it going on within the same two epis w/ both H & Cal having these "issues".
Im not convinced it is Cooper just yet, maybe he is just there to make everyone think the obvious, I tend to "think outside the box":lol:,
this screams Julia I think & I would not be surprised one bit if she wasn't planning to kill Horatio.:evil:

1. Watch TV and cherish every DuCaine moment we got.
2. Go on my computer and manip every DuCaine we don't get.
3. Ramble on and on about the DuCaine moments we will get.

Sounds pretty good to me... heck, almost sounds like one of those "life" thingies. :lol:

EmeraldEyes06 that must of been a great dream. I also had a DuCaine dream and that's where i got the idea for my Fanfic come from ;). It was great until the alarm for work rang:(

I'm currently working on some new captioned DuCaine pics like i did on the manip thread. Once i've done a few, i'll put them up.

Just one more week people!
 
Going Under was definitely one of those Top 10 H/Cal eps... along with Kill Zone, Lost Son & Under Suspicion :D Showed how much these two care about each other.

Well, I don't think I've been inside your head :lol: - maybe great minds think alike?! :bolian: I really love the David Cook version - just saw it again on YouTube and I could totally see this as an H/C song - so poignant and sad, but still hopeful! :)

mjszud - I really hope your right about those spoilers! I'm having trouble w/the spoiler thing, too, so I won't get into specifics - but let me just there's got to be a connection - I def. support you on this one - DuCaine all the way!!!

Anyhow, I really love all the pics - especially the "old school" ones! (WOW EmeraldEyes - nice find from "Slaughterhouse"! - I have to watch that one again - love how H is watching Cal - you can tell he's concerned about how she's gonna react to the scene, even though he's in the distance - AWWW! :D

I really am looking forward to scenes between these two, and hopefully there will be some emotion behind them - there always is! Long Live DuCaine! :cool:
 
Nice manip Speedsdaughter :), i also agree on the episodes. I think Broken could be up there as well.

mjszud, interesting theory and from what i've heard, that does fit. Sounds like shes playing a dangerous game and even bribery, she does have two things on Horatio, but what does she want from him?:vulcan:
 
I just get the feeling she wants H dead. Im not sure what her motive would be unless TPTB plan to throw something new out there...the possibilities are endless. Her knowledge of Brazil & another little tidbit of a spoiler that I read has me thinking this. We'll see...

As for Ducaine....this could only bring on some really good emotion; I can see H getting all weepy :D; & the fact that we are JUST NOW FINALLY getting Ducaine scenes again, obviously TPTB had to get them on screen together for a good reason...what better reason than a showdown between H/Julia/Calleigh....& whoever else she drags down!
Like I said, all speculation...;)
It'll be interesting to see how all this unfolds!

Hey, Iknow I haven't been on for awhile and I'm sorry.(stupid science fair) Anyways I'm so excited for the new episoode!!I saw the promo and I was sooo mad!! Calleigh and Eric makes me mad:devil:(no offence) I'm just a die hard DuCaine fan!:lol::thumbsup: We fanilly get H&Cal scences YEAH!:p:lol::)

CSIloverZed i don't think that is really what is going to happen. Also i don't think it's them re-enacting the scene (that would be weird, actors playing actors:guffaw:) cos if it was, they would more then likely be in their usual clothes and more than likely in the lab

(And if i was writing that scene i would place Horatio as the groom and Calleigh as the bride and then i would purposely turn off all the elctrics, making sure the area around them was booby trapped so they would trip and fall on top of each other;):guffaw:)

It's possible it's Eric either dreaming or the fragment in his brain causing him problems again as the scene is in black and white.

I think it's very important this moment for the show.
I really miss them..I miss their friendship.
With this pic I was going to pass out too:eek:. And I have to say that I really love that Calleigh's worried look for her boss!!!.

OH MY GOD!:eek: on the promo pics, can't wait to see that myself. H looks like he's controlling his anger which looks to be a very dangerous thing. And my hope is rising for DuCaine.

Glad you liked the comment, but HCrazy as to sriting it, i'll leave that to you. I'm not the best one for writing those scenes.
