H/Cal #5 - DuCaine...Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder

I sooo can't wait for that two-parter - I think we should do a countdown for that! Do you see the look in Cal's eyes - and she's holding his hand or touching his arm - that's soo sweet! I love Cal! I can't wait to see H's reaction - maybe he'll be less robotic and more of the H we all knew and loved. All he needs is a little TLC from his bullet girl :)

As a side note, I had a very brief shippy dream last night. I was watching CSI:Miami, and H and Cal were investigating a scene. Suddenly, the topic of children comes up, and H asks Cal if she's "heard anything yet" from the doctors, and she smiles, looks down and says sweetly "not yet." Then he goes over to her and kisses her on the cheek, telling her they have plenty of time — then suddenly Eric walks in, kind of surprised, and asks if he's interrupting something. They both look down, and Eric looks confused. I was like - "What just happened?!?! Sweet!!" :eek: And then I woke up.

I was totally convinced that was an episode for like the first 30 seconds after I woke up - I was like, "see! See! DuCaine has been going on all this time!" LOL. Well, a girl can dream, can't she? :)

Anyway, let's get geared up for tonight, and for that two-parter! (Thank goodness we only have to wait one day for the second part!) DuCaine all the way, baby! :cool:

Nice Dream:) I like it a lot. I was watching Regis and Kelly this morning and Emily Procter was on and they showed some clips of tonights episodes and they showed the DuCaine Scenes and they were awesome!!!!! Im going to start the countdown for the two-parter now :)7 Days LEFT!!!!!!:)

I did have one misgiving that I wanted to put out there about this whole thing - so if someone could PLEASE tell me I'm wrong on this somewhere down the road that would be great:



OK, I really hope I'm wrong about the above, so please if someone knows or finds out anything, let me know! (I hope you can read it - I've been having a hard time w/the new spoiler code - anyone got any directions on how to use the dang thing?)

Can't wait for tonight! Finally some DuCaine scenes, but what I'm really looking forward to is that arm holding scene next week ;) I hope the preview is good!

Sorry about that - thanks to mjszud for giving me some direction on this spoiler code thing!

What I was really worried about was that I read H will have to stand trial in Brazil on the whole Riaz thing (it was in a newspaper article that was posted on one of the other message boards). My concern is, if he's in Brazil, he won't be ther for Cal :( That CANNOT happen! He has to be there when his Bullet Girl is missing! I just don't get how the writers can play up his pain over someone he knew for a few months, and yet have him completely IGNORE someone he's known for at least 12 years (Cal). I mean, :wtf:! I really hope this is not true, but it sounds like he won't even be around for her - she's always there for him, and then he's in Brazil when she needs him most - NO WAY. I will be so pissed if this is the case.

Anyway, if someone can tell me that this is NOT what's going to happen that would be great

Unfortunately based on spoilers that is exactly how it is supposed to be so i am very very pissed:wtf:

Now now now, let's use our fanfic minds to fix this situation. When Calleigh goes missing, Horatio will be in Brazil. He gets a call from, say, Eric, explaining the situation (Or will Eric be in Brazil as well?). Horatio will get to Miami the fastest way possible, then immediately begin searching for Calleigh. He'll find her, save her. She'll realize the only man for her is Horatio, and then they'll kiss and we'll have a happily ever after! See? Don't let the spoilers wreck you... not until the episode airs. THEN we can complain. :lol:

Cheer up! We've got guaranteed DuCaine tonight!
 
Awwww - thanks for making me feel better, SpeedsDaughter. In this show, H could go to Brazil at 9 a.m., defend himself and still make it back for lunch! :guffaw: So he can TOTALLY be there for her - thanks :) (But I will be sooo pissed if he's not! :mad: )

Anyway, tonight's ep. - WOWZA! Three scenes! Loved the patent "you got it" from Cal - she only says that to H, and she smiles and says it sooo sweetly:) Finally, she's in the lab, and it's H who appears! YES! DuCaine is back BIG TIME! :bolian:

I also liked how H got all emotional interrogating the groom, and then the VERY NEXT SCENE was with Calleigh!!! Now there's a sign - she's the one H turns to when he's in trouble - she grounds him, keeps him on track and comforts him. She just lights up a room and probably lifted his spirits a bit after that rough interrogation.

I also LOVED the last scene - H holding up the phone to Cal, like, "Yep, pal, we got 'em. Nice job!" I was really feelin' the "team spirit" there :) He let her take the interrogation, but waited in the wings and backed her up. I just loved it when he held up the phone - I don't know why. It just felt like he was doing some work FOR HER, acknowledging that they're pretty much equals. Typically, he lets the CSIs do what he did, so it was a nice switch, esp. w/Cal.

I'm totally looking forward to next week - I really wanna see her touching H, comforting him - go Cal! Stand by your man!

Also, has anyone noticed that H and Cal are always going through horrible things at the same time. (I know it's ratings ploys, but still, it's worth mentioning. I just really hope H is there for Cal like she's been there for him. It just wouldn't be right if he wasn't. They CAN'T pull another "Stand Your Ground" - :scream: )

Them getting scenes together seems to be a build up for the next few eps - they had to reconnect before all this went down. And I'm lovin' it. It's been so long since we could discuss any REAL DuCaine scenes - I'm just sooo psyched. Now we just need her to make H smile again :)

So - now that we have some scenes - let's discuss! DuCaine all the way, baby!

Hey DuCainers.... we have DuCaine tonight. :drool::drool::drool: Lets celebrate that!:guffaw: I thought it was a great episode and I love how unexpected H was working with Calleigh at the end when he held up the phone to let her know! This was GREAT!!!:thumbsup: I loved it!:lol: I am so Happy! Happy! Happy!

Now to next week...;) First off, we should be happy that we are getting back to DuCaine.:drool: Next we should be thrilled we are getting back to back eps.:drool::drool: Finally I DO NOT BELIEVE that Horatio wont be there.:rolleyes: He will somehow be involved with helping Calleigh. I am almost sure of this but i can not confirm it yet.

Hey all I can say is I have faith and I think the episodes are going to be great. I know H&C have more scenes next week in both eps.:drool: So try not to jump the gun. We never know what these crazy writers are going to do until the episodes officially airs! :guffaw:

I for one am a very HAPPY DuCainer TONIGHT!!! I MEAN TONIGHT AND TOMORROW AND NEXT WEEK AND NEXT YEAR AND ....:lol:

I haven't seen it yet (living on the west coast does have it's downsides), but from what I'm hearing I'm going to LUV it. Worship it, give up my firstborn for it... yeah. XD

I agree miamirocks, we all know that H is invincible (usually we hate that, but right now it's kinda an asset!), so he'll be back before lunchtime! :guffaw:. After all, what wouldn't he do for his Calleigh? :)

I's still working on the scene Wolfca, so expect it to be posted ASAP. BTW I love the story, can't wait for an update! :D

hi guys WOW i haven't been here in a while i've been a bad shipper cause i was starting to lose hope with these 2 but ya'll got me excited again now that they shared scenes (witch i could not watch witch ticks me off my Dish is mest up and i can't get it fix untill next week but my Grandfather let me record it at his house but havn't got to watch it ) can someone please tell me what happen in there scnes togeather and then to top it all off the spoilers about next week i'm going to have to get my papa to let me record next week i do have a question is it Monday AND Tuesday i read that somewhere

Hey all!

Vegaslights just posted some new promo pics on the Miami picture thread from the next two eps - and I was happy! :)

One of the pics is from "All In" and has H, Frank and Delko at a crime scene - so now I'm thinking H is BACK by the time Calleigh gets kidnapped. WOOHOOO! :p I really hope I'm right!

And yes, it's slated to run on Monday and Tuesday of next week - both at 10 p.m., so buckle up for the ride, DuCaine fans - As H would say, "Here we go!" :cool:
