I know what you mean mjszud- I nearly fell over when I heard Calleigh say, "I'm gonna call Horatio" last week - I was like, "she said his name, woohoo!" LOL That's how desperate us DuCaine fans are, I guess. 
Hcrazy - thanks for the promo for Monday - Speed was my favorite character and I was soo sad when they killed him off, although we did get the best DuCaine scenes ever out of it! Here's to hopin' we'll at least get a scene out "Bang Bang, Your Debt."

Good evening!! It's great to read so much about our DuCaine. Always puts a smile on my face!!
@ miamirocks: It has been very tough, but if it wasn't for such great and loyal fans, I would have given up ages ago. Not to mention we have some of the best FF writers on our side!! Just check out 'Lonely Road' if you don't believe me!! And that sounds like a great idea!! We definitely should pull something together for the week of November 18th, the 'Kill Zone' Anniversary, as well as using the feedback form on the CBS site. Let's send a massive message!!
To answer your question about the promo pic, HCrazy has made a wall paper of it on her site of you want to check it out. They looking good, and they're in the same room!! WOO-HOO!!! :lol: It's all we can do to remain positive. The Grillows fans went through the same ordeal with their ship, so this is just a bump in the road, a minor detour on our 'lonely road' that Calleigh is walking with Horatio.
'After the Fall'... boy, what an eppie. My heart races each time I think of that scene where Calleigh asks how he's doing, and he leans towards her ever so slightly... *squee* Anyway, before I go off on a fluufy-smutty tangent... :lol: This was a genuine example of how well suited Calleigh is to Horatio, how she wouldn't back down or give up. Some may say she was pestering and pushing him, but she was gently persuading him to let her take a bit of control, and Horaito isn't one to relinquish control to anyone. He didn't think he needed help, but she convinced him otherwise. She can handle him alright, like no other woman could. And she still has that quality that makes him smile all shy! I can never stop talking about this episode, a real S3 highlight following 'The Hug' and that intimate evening conversation in 'Under the Influence'.
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Monday night as well. Thanks for the prmo, HCrazy, it rocked!! Speed is coming back, the man whose death caused Horatio and Calleigh to embrace for what seemd an eternity. I always missed him, I'll be so emotional when I watch it, and that's the truth!! Anyway, if we don't get a scene, here's something else. From what I've seen from the promo pics, Jake is working with H on the burning car case, and if things go according to what I hope is the plan, Horatio will find more things he dislikes about Jake's ethics, and hopefullt he'll step in between Jake and Calleigh. It's a dream, but it's a major fanfic possibilty!
@ mjszud: That will be my reaction exactly!! I'll probably start crying, going, "Oh my God, they're talking, they're talking!!' and thanking high Heaven that the writers came to their senses at last.
Those titles are really good!! Love them all!! I was thinking as well of:

As for the Season 6 cast shot - I'm having trouble viewing Hcrazy's website - any chance of someone posting it here or on the picture thread? I really want to see H/C in the same room, darn it! I looked for it on google, but couldn't find it.
Also, did anyone catch Death Pool 100 last night? I was like "yahoo! H and C talking to each other! Yes!!" I'd forgotten about that little exchange after the interrogation of that mother during that episode. The look Cal gave H was so cute - she knew he was concerned about that boy. I forgot that Season 5 did actually have them interacting at first ... something to look forward to when I buy the DVD

I was watching "death pool 100" also & for all the photomanip junkies...look at the end when their all walking down the beach together...Calleigh is next to H & all you see is their silhouette....they COULD be TOTALLY walking hand in hand here!!! I was actually picturing that in my head when I was watching it. & so very in the style of csimiami w/ the sunset in the background & all!! Very cute!!

Well, I don't want to bring the room down ::again::, but where else can I vent?
So ... no H/C scenes again, save for the Season 3 funeral flashbacks for good ol' Speed (guess H never cleaned out that locker after all...? Anyone else notice the gun cleaning kit next to his badge? that was a nice touch.)
But as far as H/C - Seriously, WTF! It's totally weird. I mean, in this episode we had Eric/Calleigh, H/Eric, H/Natalia, Eric/Natalia, Tripp/Calleigh/Eric, Tripp/H, Alexx/Everybody - nearly every major actor shared a scene together except for ... wait for it now ... HORATIO AND CALLEIGH!
This was the perfect opportunity for them to have a scene - Cal talking to H about how concerned she is for Eric, etc. I mean, c'mon, throw us a bone here! It was a GREAT episode, but it could've been AWESOME if H and Cal had just one scene together. Did anyone else expect Cal to walk up next to H and Eric during that scene in the graveyard? I was hoping - but of course, TPTB will cite scheduling conflicts yet again.
I just don't understand this - I'm sorry, but this goes beyond scheduling conflicts. Are these two actors even on the same show anymore? You wouldn't know it by watching. Even on NYPD Blue, when Caruso and Dennis Franz HATED each other, they still had scenes together, even though they were limited. I just wish TPTB would be cornered about this by someone in the entertainment industry - like a magazine or entertainment TV show or something - even CBS's morning show, I mean c'mon guys, it's not like they're minor characters - they're the FREAKIN' LEADS!
::Sigh:: All right, sorry about that, vent officially over. Back to H/C. SpeedsDaughter - I LOVE that song you picked out - it is perfect! Mjszud - they totally could be holding hands - I forgot how nice that episode was - little did we know it was the beginning of the end...
Anyway, sorry about all this, I'm just kinda down. I thought this was our last shot to get a scene. Now we have to just cross our fingers for episode 9 ... and that's a long ways away... It's just that I really love our ship and think it's got so much potential for both characters.

Haven't posted in awhile... been under the weather lately
But am feeling much better now...
I don't know about anybody else, but this lack of H/Cal scenes has almost made me more inspired to create my DuCaine vids, 'cause you just know that these 2 characters have backstory goin' on (whether TPTB realize it or not ) I mean, I'm not one to just walk around with my head in the clouds and ignore the facts, but I'm a very optomistic person (the cup is half-full and all that... ) and I can't help but think that TPTB are putting DuCaine off as long as possible because they want the show to last as long as possible and are trying to draw things out between them (and granted, right now they're doing a wonderful job of it ) But these 2 are endgame, there is no other way around it for me, and if TPTB go there right now, they might think they won't have anywhere else to go with these 2 (although the rest of us DuCainers know differently, don't we? ) So I'm not focusing so much on the lack of scenes right now... at least we got a little shout-out (however brief) when Cal said she had to call H about the evidence they found in last week's epi, so we know that there's off-camera communication goin' on... ...hopefully in more ways than one... :devil: Well, I'm kinda ramblin' now, sorry... still have some lingering "cold-brain" leftover... :lol: ... anyway, hope this makes some sense to y'all... I'll have to think of some contributions for the new thread title poll...

Its crazy, I know!! All I can say is like any other season, it seems to always "shift" so I guess we'll have to suffer for the time being. Things will change...were only going on epi 5 here, which could possibly give us a scene somewhere. It involves Stetler "giving her crap over Jake" so maybe Horatio will jump in somewhere to ask her whats up?? *hopes for anything right about now*

Well, I emailed a letter to TV Guide about how I liked the episode w/Speed, but missed the camaraderie of the cast. In the letter I mentioned that H & Cal haven't been in a scene for 13 episodes, or 20 if you don't count "Man Down." We'll see what happens.
In the meantime, I was sooo happy to hear from Top41, who does the CSI:Miami episode reviews here - Top is great, and her reviews are typically on-target with how fans are feeling.
After Top reviewed "Bang Bang, Your Debt," I wrote on the "talk about this review" board about the whole lack of H/C scenes. Top was great about it, and hopefully she'll call out TPTB if this continues. Here's how she responded to my comments:
Well, I'm glad at least someone is acknowledging this - Thanks Top41 - your "tops" in my book OK, I know that was a bad pun, but c'mon ... Now let's see if we can get some DuCaine scenes, guys! Let's rally!

But apparently some people think Eric is becoming the secondary lead, and I think I'm starting to agree that the writers are going in this direction. I think this is mainly b/c Eric is the only one interacting w/Horatio.
Not only is our ship in jeopardy, so is Calleigh's position, apparently. I can't believe people think Eric's a more qualified second-in-command than Calleigh. Some are even saying that Horatio and Calleigh have never had a close friendship. I just posted a really long defense of Calleigh and the H/C friendship (hopefully w/out getting into ships) at the "episode review" forum.
Needless to say, the last couple of seasons have been difficult for H/C fans. We really need to push TPTB to find out what's going on w/this lack of interaction. I suppose things can only get better, right? I mean, what's worse than not having any scenes? Here's to hoping...
