Hey girls. Remember how the season ended with "H" on the helecopter launch pad, on top of the building. Well here is what should happen in the first Epi, of the new season.

We see the Helecopter coming towards "H", as he waits Calleigh comes running up the stairs to the roof, calling his name.

"Horatio", "Horatio", "Please don't go, please don't leave me behind". "I love you, I've always loved you, I was just to terrified to tell you".

As he looks at Calleigh, he says....."Sweetheart, what did you say"?

She repeats her line "I love you handsome".

Embracing her in his arms, he says.... "Well it's about time, sweetheart, because I've always loved you too".

I'm so glad you agree with all my points, LMH, because I am a sucker for romance, and you can't get more romantic that 'Pride & Prejudice', right? EyeHeartH hit the nail on the head when she compared H and Cal to Lizzie and Darcy, and that their romance is like a period-drama!! :D We even had manip with H and Cal as Elizabeth and Darcy from the movie with Keira Knightley!! :D I'll find that and post it again!! :)

And I adore that scenario!! :) So romantic, and it would be so fitting for the season premiere!! :D It would be the so perfect to see H and Cal confront their feelings at last. :)

I'm thinking as well, that if H did get hurt, as the rumours were going a while back, that Cal would be by his side in the hospital or wherever, and she'd be thinking, 'I nearly lost him, and I never told him how much he means to me...' Then she'd be acting LT again, carrying the torch for H and the lab, and it would cause her to do some SERIOUS thinking about the men in her life at that moment, and realise just how long it's been since she and Horatio have even talked! Redemption, hooray!! :)
When he'd come back, she'd say, "It wasn't the same without you... it always was, even before this..." He'll give her one of thoes cute head-tilts when he's confused, and she'd just sigh in frustration and turn away.
"We're going to have to talk about this..." he'll say, then he'll leave Cal alone pondering her words again.
Emotional climax... a real ratings grabber... *nudge, nudge, wink, wink* :lol:

Thanks for the props!!! H is so Darcy because at times it's hard for him to show his feelings to others, and Cal would be a perfect Lizzie because, like Lizzie, Cal just wants someone to love her :)

Nice!!! I was disappointed that no likeable character (my apologies to the Jake lovers out there) came close to peril in the season finale and no one needed to be saved by their knight (or knight-ess) in armour.

Wouldn't that be the scene!!! I would love to see that happen, and then H realises what she meant, and then he runs after her and catches her down in the gun lab shooting off rounds to curb her sadness, and then he would come up from behind, wrap his arms around her waist, and Cal, closing her eyes because she knows who it is, lets him take her into his hold. Ooooh...I should write a fic on that!!!

I love this Pic. You can see the trust and compassion between them. They say, your eyes, are the window to the soul. For DuCaine, in their eyes alone, you can feel their needs and wants, but you can also see their fear, about opening up to each other.

Hey all,

It's been awhile - things have been crazy. I see the DuCaine love is still alive and kickin' - against all odds (now there's a DuCaine song if I ever heard one!)

I have to say the fanfics have been fantastic - you guys rock - it's actually a relief compared to all those Monday nights we spent anguishing over whether H and Cal would ever be in a scene together again.

Now, let me pose this question. I hear that shooting for season 6 starts soon, and that the writers are coming up w/stories this month, so maybe now's a good time to get that petition going and send it, and maybe start a "Round 2" of the postcard campaign? I'm just worried if we wait too long things will be written (or not written) already.

And for anyone who doubts the power of fans, just look at the show Jericho — the fans brought that show back from the grave by sending peanuts (a reference to a line from the episode). I think we should be able to muster something similar (although certainly not as large) for our wonderful couple who've been terribly neglected by TPTB.

Any ideas, aside from a petition and post card campaign? I was thinking of trying to find a line from one of the episodes that was really "DuCaine" - maybe the "I don't look good in all black/I beg to differ" comment, or something more recent, and try to find something to send in along those lines (like a black piece of clothing ... ok, not going there, but you know what I mean ;) )

Anyhow, I really am hoping for some awesome DuCaine scenes in Season 6, but I'm always afraid of getting my hopes up. Last year was unbearable - no scenes for more than half the year - ugh. They just can't do that to us again - right? We gotta keep DuCaine alive!

I never could understand how they could build up such a friendship over four years, then just drop it like it was nothing. I want my DuCaine fix, please! These two are perfect for each other - they complete each other (yea, preachin' to the choir, I know, but I gotta vent somewhere
:rolleyes: )

Well, I'm gonna try to get back to work on my fanfic, "Mixed Feelings" (I've gotten some kind words about it on the yahoo board). Take it easy guys — and just remember, DuCaine love is deep!
