Frank and H recieves a message saying that court is in session. Frank leaves with the suspect's lawyer.

H: *opens his cellphone* Calleigh....get me all you can on this case... Please..

*later in court*

Horatio glances at his watch every minute, waiting for a break in the case.

The judge dismisses the case due to insufficient evidence on acquitting the suspect, Byron Middlebrook, of murder.

Judge: This case is dismissed. *knocks gavel*
Byron: *stands up and celebrates with his friends*
H: *almost gives up*

Calleigh walks in. She smiled at Horatio and passed him a file which he gladly took.

H: *looks at file* Book him Frank.

Frank books him.

Byron: *not happy* You better took this cowboy off me. (Cowboy!! Frank's a cowboy! Wahahaha! YEEEHAWW!!! :lol

H: *presents his case to the court*
Byron: *knows he's lost* What's my bail Judge?
Judge: Well, the case has already been dismissed so bail can no longer be issued.

Frank escort Byron out of the court. H turns... (which I would take to be his cue to thank Calleigh by porposing for them to have dinner which Calleigh happily agrees and VOILA! DucaineDuCaineDUCAINE!!!!)[/i]

So some of you must be wondering, "Why is this crazy bloke posting about a non-DuCaine episode!?!?! Let's bash him!!"

Ahhh nono, before you do that? I'll have you know my dears that I HEARD the desperation in Horatio's voice as he called Calleigh. How his life seem to depend on her breaking this case. Now how many people can say that they have called somebody and trusted and believed in somebody so much on something this important eh? No? No takers? Of course naine!

Calleigh have showed to be a true saviour for H in this episode. Yes, she may have been a minute late or perhaps she may have kept him holding long enough to wish that he had trusted someone else with such a task but noooooOoooo..he trusted her and now, his trust would be twice..no...thrice more than it had ever been.

So..you're thinking, "This bloke is off his bloody rocker!" but my point is: This may not be the best DuCaine episode but it showed how much they trusted each other... And yes, they count on each other for strength and for service... AHA! I hear many of you agree yes!

And for your sweet-DuCaine Tooth:

"Where are you Calleigh...

Cal passes him a file..

"Byron, you're under arrest"

Cal smiles....

..and H turns to say his deepest, most passionate, most bottom-of-my-heart THANKS!

Hello my fellow DuCainers!

You know, Palm, I have an extremely sappy, sensitive side, so the thought of Horatio really opening up to Calleigh is very romantic to me!! I've been this way since "Lost Son", but I digress. I totally get what you're saying too. He is so macho and controlled, that's what I love about him. Cal can be tough too, but I think her sweet, Southern nature compliments H's character really well. I love 'em both so much!!

I saw "Under Suspicion", and all I can say is "wow." Without a doubt, the best DuCaine eppie of S4, strong stuff. Beautiful scenes together. I didn't exactly faint when their hands touched, but I was glued to the screen in hysterics, screaming,"SHE'S HOLDING HIS HAND!!! THEY'RE TOUCHING!!" And black again to top it all off. She really worked hard to clear him, and she knew from the beginning it wasn't him. She knows him so well. I think since "After the Fall", she was always going to butt heads with Stetler, go against his authority, all for Horatio. That's a brave woman right there, our Calleigh Duqesne. And I thought Horatio was really brave in this ep as well, very cool, very calm, and always a step ahead seemingly. He didn't seem fazed, but that's just me. All and all, great episode. And, as promised, here are some caps from said episode. Anyone who hasn't seen this episode or S4, be forewarned. Here we are:

Hey Casp, I loved that scene in "Pro Per" He called her "ma'am" again!! Seeing as it was the second episode of S3, I was kinda disappointed that they were not as close as we'd hoped they'd be, but oh well. Live and let live.

Oh amazingly active new thread am absolutley loving it!!

I'm still here too, but new job has taken over my life I thought that was H/C's job!!

Have to say am in UK which is stupidly behind, but love the new title to the thread, and can't wait to see this moment it is what we poor starved DuCainer's thrive on..oh that and fanfic

Hopeing to return on a more permanenet basis if real life ever slows down, until then, keep the faith!

And have to say watched 'Under the Influence' today, love those H looking out for Cal moments, that really shows so much about their relationship, need more please!

I saw "Under Suspicion" while I was on vacation in Juarez MX. This was a really good eppy. I just loved it. CBS has or had the eppy up on the site to watch and I use to watch it over and over. Thanks for posting those pictures EE. Nice job.

I have been reading a lot of DuCaine FF of late. I will probably go off later and read more. I have been enjoying them very very much. Thanks to all that work so hard to write them. The only FF I wrote was Horatio's backstory (When he was beat cop in NY) and one called "The Letters" involving what happened when David Caruso kept answering my letters. Writing this stuff is not easy to do. It kinda gets personal for me so I am not sure I would ever share some of them. I give it up for those who work hard to write them and get them out there for us to enjoy. THANKS!

I made the mistake of reading Hcrazy's fic late at night. I had these dreams about Horatio that had nothing to do with CSI or science. LOL Ummm. Her stories are pretty steamy. Hee heee. Now I only read her stories in the daytime. I can't watch Horatio without blushing now.

Okay my new gutterbuddies! I was hoping we would get some DuCaine in our ep this week, cuz I really wanted to see some dang it! But we didn't, but we did get Calleigh in black which she looks HOT in and let's face it, we totally know why she wears it! And we got H with his totally cheesy but still awesome "Burn Baby Burn" line, which cracked me up and sent me to the gutter all at the same time! (I swear it takes almost nothing to send me there...I practically live there as it is! :lol: )

Yeah no kidding all the passion these two have, they have to have an outlet for it somewhere...and I totally think that they are eachother's "outlet" if you will! :devil:

I can see someone writing a fic using that Burn Baby Burn line from Horatio to Calleigh. hee hee. Now I gotta get that line tacked onto the "Rebecca.....Rebecca....Rebecca where is he?" line and I can hear Horatio say my name and my fave new line when I log in to the PC. HEE HEEE.

Oh I am loosing it for sure. Off to read more DuCaine. Palm was wondering is your work is under Palm on Lonely Road? I haven't made it to the "P's" yet.
