F**********************CK
i've seen an icon made from one of those pics i believe, for 3 seconds. DAMN YOU GEEKFICTION, DAMN YOU!
mystery has already had to start deleting avatars and banners by people who already put them up. Sorry,
Adz - some people are just idiots.
i knew it, i knew it. i knew it would be impossible to stay away from those pics for 2 weeks. well i haven't seen anything else, just a close-up on Grissom's and Sara's faces.
*goes to check*
That's heavily edited, FWIW.
just f***in' great. i hope there is more into those pics than just this one thing. i'm SO PISSED!
I'm not blowing smoke up your skirt here, but the other two are, in my mind, far more important to the scene and the episode.
i'm going away for 2 days now, so i'll see y'all on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
Exactly like Drew Barrymore's in Charlie's Angels, smartass.
How right you are. I'm sure that if they showed us more scenes like the EyeSex or Pin Me Down Scene, there would be alot more holy shits down here. I'd like to see them play out more sexier scenes. And by sexier scenes I don't mean seeing Sara in a corset, that would just be weird. Maybe they could give us some more scenes like the one in ToyD and IE, you know? It's those that kind of reassure you that you aren't bullshitting yourself.
I totally get what you mean. Until... I'd say until
Leaving Las Vegas, it didn't even really feel like they were together. No - scratch that, I'd say
Law of Graviy, even. Because they were always cute, and yeah - consciously you knew they were together, but
Fallen Idols was the first really "intimate" scene we had and she cupped his face. I'm not trying to diminish it, because the sexual tension in the scene was lovely, but that's due to our actors, not the writers.
I want a kiss or them at home again or on a date not just to see it, but because it's really a "signifier". Yes, they're together, no it isn't just a maybe-thing.
Does that make sense at all?
Exactly what I was thinking. It would add something new to the show instead of just the everyday whodunnit. We hardly see any personal stuff anymore. And if we do, it's never...I guess satisfying? I think that's partly because it's never continued into other episodes.
Be careful what you wish for - next episode, Lindsey's going to become a topless dancer or some shit.
lol.
I liked the conversation between Nick and Catherine in
Leaving Las Vegas, but even that was kind of, "C'mon... who
else has been leaving early that used to work overtime constantly and was the object of his plant-giving affection for years? C'mon... oh, no. We're talking about Catherine again."
Not really, lol. It takes too damn long from when we get the spoilers to when the episode actually airs. I'm happy being spoiled this season. I think it's partly because last season it was more likely to be disappointed if something didn't make it, so I was glad not knowing in the first place, but now I kind of expect things to be cut, so it's all good. But I don't think I'm ever going to have the same reaction I had when I watched ToyD and WtG. ...Meh.
Maybe, maybe not. If we get an unspoiled kiss, I think we'll all go crazy. I'm personally glad that TPTB are cracking down on spoilers.
But I agree with you - we whined about
Gum Drops for
how many months?
I'm not completely sure, but I'm guessing YTDAW. That's where most of our info comes from.
Over the summer, TPTB did a press conference with the actors and showrunners (WP was absent) and someone asked Jorja about the relationship and how she liked working with WP, and she said in the beginning, she couldn't stand him, and she was pretty sure he felt the same way, but about halfway through the season, something clicked and now he's one of her favorite people to work with.
You can probably find it on a google search.
Good morning sunshine, the earth says helloooooo! *hums and rocks*
I always see Mr. Burns doing that.
Or Willy Wonka, I guess.
Well, that's true, but I think that's what I liked about it. This season we know what's there already. Nothing is going to surprise me anymore, you know what I mean? Also, in the earlier seasons (I'm talking before season 6) there was more there. It felt that back then part of their story would always be revisited, but now it seems like every time there's another GSR scene it's like they're starting over. If they were mad, they're happy in the next scene, you know? We don't see the transitions, and before we did.
That
is true. I'm content with it. I wish I could argue my point harder, but when you're just happy with something, it's hard to explain why, you know? I mean, part of it could simply be because I didn't have to sit from week to week with non-canon GSR for more than a year. So I didn't have the build-up to an episode like Invisible Evidence or Butterflied.
For example, in "Getting Off" I think it was? When Grissom and Sara were searching the limo they talked about Sara not getting the job. I like that. I like continuity. We don't see much of it now.
We see a lot more continuity in general, but not about them, agreed. I wish that they had had a little bit of tension still between G+S after he came back. But from what I understand, WP didn't want it, and wanted to focus on them being happy and in love, so hopefully that translates to kissing.
