P.S. I think the beard kind of covers up his cute face. Like on of my VERY metrosexual guy friends says, "The only reason for facial hair is to cover up ugly." lol And WP doesn't have any ugly to cover up.

Sometimes it just defines the jawline - like the way he wears his. It's VERY groomed.

Not the latest pictures - I mean circa seasons 4-6. I'll guess that hair did that for him every morning.

another things is, it was predictable that TBTP will do that. the hook up scene would be very hard to make considering the complexity of their relationship, timeline etc etc. so it wouldn't be easy and possibly OCC. nevertheless, i would LOVE to see their first hook up, it has been a matter of so many FF, it's not even funny.

I think we'll get mention of it whenever the "reveal" happens. I mean, someone is bound to ask "How long has this been going on?" and I can see him giving a more detailed account to someone like Doc or Catherine or Brass if grilled.

Not, like "And then I placed my hands upon her waist" - but more, "I drove her home after visiting Nick in the hospital, and..."

yeah, and i'll be watching the first 10 eps of S7 repeatedly. i've got a question, when is 7x11 scheduled for? cuz i may be still in Europe at that time, and i may not be able to see it which brings me to tears. i'll have to ask somebody to tape it for me, and i will be absent from Talk for a couple of days as well. so what was it? the 4th?

Sorry - it's all still rumor mode right now. But given his sudden apprehension about Dublin Carol, I'd say that the likelihood is getting stronger and stronger. Also, his patchy appearances in Season 8 were going to be because he was doing a play in Chicago... but the script hasn't even been written yet. Those kinds of things can, unfortunately, fall through all the time.

Yes but that would be okay for me If they didnt leave amicable. I can imagine ecklie firing grissom (but not only because he found out about grissom and sara,there must be more than that) or perhaps grissom has simply enough of it all.. we will know in the end... Sara will join him; I am pretty sure about that!

I can imagine it to happen like this:
Gris: Listen Sara, I gotta talk to you about something..
Sara: Okay baby, whats on your mind?
Gris: I got to go Sara, I am tired of all of this and I need some changes. Do you understand, what I am saying?
Sara; Yes, I know this was coming for quite a time. I feel that you are not comfortable with the situation. I am sorry for putting you into trouble.
Gris: No Sara, this has nothing to do with you or our relationship. You know that we went trough a lot to come this far and I was afraid that I might have been to late...

Oh, I'm sure Sara will go too. I don't think their relationship is going to end badly, I just wonder if TPTB are going to make it possible for Grissom and/or Sara to return.

But like I said - right now, things are looking hopeful for Season 8.

I think WP probably gave the go-ahead to GSR because he was sure he wanted to end his work on the show this year, but it's been really churning out some quality episodes, and as he said himself - theater is harder than he remembered.

I dunno... just like Grissom coming back from the break, WP might be able to avoid CSI burnout if he goes, does this play, and then realizes that he wants to do one more year.

And I think they should have one more year of GSR, to really explore it.

Luckily they don't seem to be fast-pacing it, with the exception of the burnout plot - I just mean, they haven't broken up and gotten together 5 times like MerDer in 10 episodes.

Which makes me think that the writers would also rather have a longer time to play it out.

Well It depends on how far the writers will let gsr go this season. If the audience gets to know when, where, how and why gsr has started AND they make grissom or Sara do something special regarding their relationship (proposing, letting the rest of the team know about them..something like this) we might not need an eight season (gsr concerning) but if there will be no eight season the final of season seven must really set the room on fire in EVERY purpose.. YOU Know what I mean. Something :devil: all together!

Yeah, agreed. I think if they were trying to fast-pace this, we'd already know when/why/how/where they got together.

Also, we'd have seen a whole lot more angst.

They have a bit more than half a season to finish this up if WP and JF are really leaving, though.

So it's a hard one to call, but I really do think that they're waiting on WP's decision before any radical changes or revelations about GSR take place.

I agree. We need more than one season of GSR so that all/any GSR-y type stuff is not all crammed together, allowing us to have epies with no real GSR-type interaction like Living Legend .
And letting it be less soap opera-y like other shows that are more of "who did who shows " (*cough* Grays Anatomy *cough*) than intellectual(for lack of a better word) shows.
Sqeee(refraining from worse words i could use) I really hope we have a GSR 8th season

As for the poll, I say that the beard shouldn’t come back.

The beard makes him look older; exaggerating the age gap between him and Sara which I think just calls more attention to the “they are having this forbidden relationship” argument that most anti-GSR shippers have (I personally don’t understand this argument, but unfortunately the world doesn’t revolve around me *sigh*). *steps of soap box-y thing* O.K. I might of exaggerated, but im hungry. So..Yah not my fault.

At the same time, I loved the beard and would be thrilled if it came back. However, I pretty easy either way (yeah, yeah. first person to make a crack about that will be CAPTAIN OBVIOUS) And I’ll live happily with Grissom with or without a beard, as long as his bearded or unbearded cheek spends a lot of time pressed up against Sara’s. Sara’s cheek, that is… PERVERTS!

btw, would you still say he's after a lipo? i wouldn't. like a said, you can't say anything based on one pic. but looking at the one when he's sitting on a chair i gotta say he lost weight from whole body. seriously, he looks great.

you know there is one thing i'm thinking about. if TPTB lurk in here sometimes, they know most of the people think it's GD. so what if it will encourage them to make a different decision about the timeline? i mean, they can be like "everybody thinks it's since GD, and we will tell them it's _______ (insert episode name here), which will be a huge surprise.

i made a decision that if he'll do the play around Thanksgiving break i'm freakin' going to Chicago to see it. period. i'm saving money for the plane ticket from now on.

that's exactly what i was thinking too. he may appreciate the comfortable CSI role more after the play, and he'll also have time to do a play in Chicago if he agrees for less episodes in S8.

I was thinking he'd put a bit more on since Built to Kill but if you take a look at Season 3, I think that's around a 30 pound difference. Definitely less... doughy.

I know I'm late, but yay for the new thread! I wasn't around for voting, but I'm so happy that "Since Norman Fell" won because it is about time!

So basically what I'm gathering from the poll is that people don't mind Grissom leaving Sara point-blank so long as he makes it clear that he's not really "leaving" her. No? Yes?

Well obviously Gris has to tell her he's leaving, but I want Sara to definitely know that she's not the reason he's leaving.

As for The Beard poll, I voted the first option. I know Gris shaving off the beard is all like symbolic and stuff, but I've always preferred him with the beard. I just watched part of Werewolves (I haven't finished it yet- I have yet to see the Sara-Sofia part) and I realized how I missed the beard (even though I have gotten used to him clean-shaven). Plus, Sara started really getting serious about Gris during the bearded years, and I liked him a lot better in the later seasons also. Although if he really keeps the beard, it would be funny to see Gris being all happy and more like how he was in season 1. (Plus I really want angst, and that is what I think of when I see him bearded). Wow, I really can ramble about this topic. So in short, I want the beard back, but I don't really care that passionately. As long as we get a kiss, I will be happy

I'm used to him clean shaven, again. I mean, I voted for him to grow it back, but it doesn't really matter. Whatever the man wants to do for his face. And, if Grissom's beard is anything like my man's, stubble is a bad place to be. Just grow it out and let it be SOFT. Much less skin damage for Sara that way!

And, as for everything else with Williams, etc, I'm in the pessimistic end of the pool, so I won't post much about that at the risk of dragging others down with me... into the depths.
