Re: Grissom&Sara #23 - Hot, Butt-Kicking, Chainsaw Wielding

Hi, I been looking back this thread to see about last Thursdays episode, can't find anything :p Was there any Sara/Grissom interaction? If you lot have discussed anything, could you tell me what page. This is the best I get to the real thing :p

That was speculation, for what it's worth. Not a spoiler.

Last Thursday's episode was a repeat. Dog Eat Dog. From memory, there's no real GSR interaction. Sara works on a case with Nick and his pornstache, and Grissom works with Catherine and Greg on a different case :) I can't remember where Warrick was, but...that's not entirely unusual for CSI, lol.

Re: Grissom&Sara #23 - Hot, Butt-Kicking, Chainsaw Wielding

Oh right, how come it wasn't a new episode :p??
Hahaha yep I've seen Dog eat Dog ;)

sorry des, it just seemed to be a spoiler. sometimes it's impossible for me to differ spoilers from speculations if they are written this way.

uhh, i need some new episodes. we've overtalked about every GSR moment and i need to be fed by some fresh scenes. GIMME MORE GSR, gimme some real couples-stuff!

yup, i'm very GSR-hungry. and i wanna see my hot man again.

Re: Grissom&Sara #23 - Hot, Butt-Kicking, Chainsaw Wielding

I'd love for Grissom and Sara to not be working together soon and maybe one of the CSI's hinting at the fact that they are always paired together. Just a small comment about how it's nice to finally see them or something.

'Cuz Adzix peeked at the promo pics I sent her *nods*

lol.

Anyway - I agree. I like dwelling on the old episodes, but I think we're starting to scrape at the barrel.

I'll say it again - angst would really vamp up the conversations. lol.

*screams histerically waving hands above my head in random sequence* only ONE picture! the one that doesn't give away anything about the plot! she PM'ed me and wrote "look how damn hot Billy's gonna look in Burn Out" and put a link adding that it's not spoilerish. what i was supposed to do? NOT look? lol

well.. yeah it would. but what kind of angst? i don't want any arguments etc between them. some "do they know?-no they don't-wait-brass/catherine knows something" would be very welcome though.

I lured her. I lured her with Billy. And now I feel bad :(

(PS - I don't)

I don't want "Catherine is so disappointed in them" angst, nor do I want "I don't love you anymore" angst.

I kind of want it to feel more like they are secure with each other (and that seems to be what they're establishing right now), but it's the outside element that's so troubling.

And they're establishing that as well, with Ecklie walking in and suggesting that Sara always sides with Grissom

And of course, the fact that Ecklie FLAT OUT says that he knows (or suspects) Grissom and Sara are doing it six ways from Sunday

I want someone to suggest that Sara's doing it for the job, or he for a midlife crisis.

That sort of thing - other people judging them. Not internal angst.

Because it opens up a window for them to leave, if that's what the actors want, but it also leaves us with some really good scenes that could be played out - people whispering if Sara goes down the hallway, Grissom and Ecklie shouting it out...

but nothing that's 100% about that. Like, one or two scenes in the span of five episodes.

she did. but i'm happy i've seen this pic cuz it indeed is not spoilerish and Billy is in fact HOT.

oh no, i'm sure that won't happen. Marg even said in one of the post-WTG interviews that Catherine would be very happy for them. and knowing that CSI is known for its collective way of working i doubt they will try to make Marg jealous or mad or whatever.

the "i don't love you anymore" is even more unlikely. sara loves him for such a long time it's impossible she stops liking him now when he's the sweetest ever with his veggie burgers and dears, and when he lost weight and is hotter than ever. and Grissom just opened up and we know he is constant with his feelings as well. if he has some feelings for somebody, it won't change that fast b/c it takes them forever to grow in him.

i would actually like some The Acussed Is Entitled court angst. like i don't want a "court reveal" but that GSR is implied or close to be revealed. and the team is watching. that sort of thing.

I think it comes more from the fact that Sara and Catherine have never particularly gotten along. So while Catherine was happy to help Grissom figure out the mistake he made in Burden of Proof, she might be less happy if she was kept in the dark.

You know what I realized? That although we've known all along that Sara has had feelings for Grissom, Grissom was the only one to ever verbalize that he "loved" or "could love" her - both in Butterflied and Way to Go. So, ironically, we've always questioned Grissom's commitment, but to an outside eye, given all that is said on flat paper, it would probably be Sara who'd look more flat in her admiration.

Does anyone else think that Liev's character might play dirty to keep Grissom's job?

That's interesting. I mean Sara's actions show that she loves him but she never actually has spoken the words out loud. I mean she talks about being "attracted" to him, but it's not the same.

I just saw Double-Crossed, and I thought it was really good. I only watched it once, and I can't believed I missed the "dear"! I guess it did seem so natural that it wasn't immediately obvious. I also thought it was really weird that Sara was wearing a mask while spraying luminol. I definitely DON'T want her to be pregnant, but I'm curious for their reasoning. Are they going to start having everyone wear masks?

So WP is going to be gone for 2 episodes in January, correct? How many more episodes are there before then? Is Burn-Out like one of the last eps before the winter break?

very true. that's why i can fully see grissom saying "i love you" to her. despite his shell, he is a romantic, (duuh, he reads poetry after all, lol) and he implied that he loves her at least once onscreen. i'm almost certain that he already told her directly that he loves her, and she told him back.

the thing is that we never see Grissom in a romantic situation, that's why it's so hard for us to imagine him exchanging iloveyou's with a girlfriend. it's hard to imagine but i believe it is very in-character.

i can see now, why sara didn't like anybody else that much as him. the most important factor - Grissom is very different than the family she had. the only close people to her were violent, unethical, loud, and emotional. Grissom is a complete opposite, and she is able to feel secure with him. he won't hurt her, scream, cheat on her or do something stupid. and he's gonna love her.

ETA:
oh and about Sara never telling him he is handsome. well, guys can drop "since i met you" lines, but girls don't have to, nuh uh. it's just that a guy can tell you you're pretty every 5 mins, but you won't tell him he is handsome if you're not in a established relationship. well, yeah you can but... uhh .. i hope you're getting what i mean in here. it all depends on a guy, and grissom is one of those who doesn't need to be reassured about his looks everyday. i think the pure fact she liked him all this time speaks for itself.

and yeah, grey hair is there too.

Re: Grissom&Sara #23 - Hot, Butt-Kicking, Chainsaw Wielding

Right. So it's funny to me that people talk about the final scene being out of character, because... if we've never seen a certain emotion or a reaction from a character, it's never been established previously. Therefore the book is open on defining character.

Also, even though Sara says she finds herself attracted to Grissom, Grissom's been the only one to really call Sara "beautiful", and has done so twice.

I suppose it came down to actions and consistency over words, but I do find it funny that, looking back, Grissom has verbally made more statements about wanting or loving Sara than Sara has about Grissom.

yeah, but she always said it to him straight in the face, not in the ice skating arena dropping one line and going back to the work mode a second after, or confessing all the feelings to a suspect. nope, she went straight to him so many times with a specific purpose of confronting him. it's not a line dropping absentmindedly during a loosened conversation, innocent flirting or looking at yourself through a parralel situation.

some of the ways he used to express his feelings were, well, in a typical "guy" way (especially since i met you), but some of them in a surprising way of somebody who could be a lot more in-depth than most of the guys (Butterflied, WTG).

that's why i believe that at work we mostly see his practical/science side, and the romantic/traditional/humanistic Grissom is more while with Sara, at home.
