Ok...so first of all the last poll...I'm not quite sure which one to vote for because...well first of all I think that if Sara hadn't been there but Greg or anybody else he would have asked them...it wasn't imho a very shippy decision...she was there so he asked her. That said I definitely think he wants to be near her and that he's happy that he can be with her...and all the remarks were cute and sort of flirty. I think he ok with everything that had happened in the office...well anyway that's what I think but of course I didn't even see the whole ep and I was ill when I saw it...so my opinion could always be wrong.

As for Billy movies, ziggy & Sarah "Manhunter" is cool alright (beard and all), but TLaDiLA is sth else!!

Yeah...TLaDiLA is well....one of my all time fav movies....I think everyone should watch it at least once in life (and then you'll probably watch it lots and lots of times)...cos WP is just so HOT.

Don't even get me started on Cristiano Ronaldo...(I'm half Portuguese and half English so I hate the Portugal-England game)in the end I think I was for England...and now Portugal lost against France....so damn.But CR is soo sexy...still I prefer Billy.


Anyway to get back on topic...I don't think TPTB would bring Hank back but I think if they did it would be a pretty interesting episode...I didn't really like the way Sara and Hanks relationship ended...I think that it was sort of pointless to have hank be an idiot and make him cheat on Sara. (Off course that way I could hate him and not feel like I was being unfair...cos I’m a gsr)

I'm not going to lie. I should have been cheering for England, but DAMN. lol. Nah, not really - I was splitting my vote between Argentina and Germany and both lost. So I have to decide who I want to win now. Which sucks.

I kind of agree that yes, he did stumble on Sara at the crime scene, however you'll note that he had yet to give her a job. He got Greg to do the skidmarks (and, as he put it: "Heh. He said skidmarks") and all the others CSIs already had a responsibility. Sara had been assigned something by someone else, and he went over their head so she could hold his ladder.

So no, I don't think he scanned the parkway and then ran over to Sara, grabbed her by the hand and said, "Come with me, foxy lady", but I also think that he didn't simply go with her because she was the only possible choice. Or at the very least, he wouldn't have looked so pleased with himself.

I also agree that making Hank the Skank cheat on Sara was a little... cliched. And the fact that she was unknowingly the "other woman" made it even easier for them to just make him disappear since in truth, Sara wasn't really cheated ON, she was cheated WITH.

But I think it's unfair in the sense that, like, Teri Miller for Grissom, that was something that Grissom did. He seems to be able to actively choose his women, pushing some away. Sara on the other hand was "let go". And that's the kind of equality I'm refrring to.

for the latest poll i voted the second option, cause i just think it's the most accurate, and most similar to my first interpretation of that scene. you know, it's really something unique for CSI, that we really have no clue what actually characters might think in such situations. and there are so many of them, that we can talk about them whole summer and still don't have it all figured out. and in case of Grissom, it's almost always like that.

okey, today i felt like i need to go back couple of seasons and rewatch some beardless G. and i watched Blood Lust. i forgot how amazing that episode is. Grissom in a BLACK LEATHER JACKET, OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG, and three if not more GSR scenes. i also completely loved the dragging- experinment scene. i laughted like crazy!! if anyone feels like rewatching some eps, i recommend Bloody Drool ... i mean Blood Lust, totally OMG ep.

Thank you for recommending this episode! I'm really new in the GSR stuff, but I really like it.

This forum is really a gift from heaven for me, because there aren't dutch GSR/CSI forums. Anyway, not that I know of. (Now you know why my English is this bad, I'm dutch ;) )

Anyways, I choose the second option too, because that's really Grissom. I don't think it meant something romantic or something else like that.

I picked the third option, because there was a wistfulness to Grissom's voice that struck me right from the outset. Often I do think that he gets wrapped up in work and doesn't really think about possible double-meanings, like in Bite Me, but here... even the speech itself really didn't have that much to do with the case. He seemed to be speaking generally, and using it as a bit of a cover.

Sara's reaction also kind of said that to me, because she said it so suddenly, and rather than the confused look, he did look sort of like "Waah! Why didn't you love that?"

Welcome back, GrissomFREAK - I'm going to go out on a wild and crazy limb and say that perhaps you may enjoy the beard.

As for Thermite, I do remember there were a LOT of people, myself included, who voiced that although at that point we knew they couldn't be together because of the loss of Gum Drops and because not much had happened since ABRTI other than the Sara/Sofia argument in Werewolves, which I did not include for obvious reasons (I don't believe it pertained enough to our ship, and would simply lead to comments against Sofia, which actually I think very few of us want to do).

But I remember that we all felt that there was a very weird vibe about that scene. Grissom's sudden romantic look, Sara's very frank comment and then Grissom's hurt look.

There had been something almost too subtexty, even for GSR.

So I remember a lot of us going, "I know they're not together, but..."

Some of us felt that it may have been Sara mad about how Grissom had treated Nick earlier in the episode, kind of dismissing him. Which makes sense, because Sara really felt for Nick in Gum Drops and it was clear from Grave Danger that his kidnapping hit her hard (I believe she was the only one looking at the screens with tears in her eyes, which was sweet to see from Sara).

But I think that given what scene came next week, it may have just been surrounding their first fight, OR that it had to do with the feeling that they still were not that secure a couple.

Thoughts?

agreed to that, GF. i was gone for one day and i had to spend like 2 hours to read everything i missed. then of course i had one big mess in my head and couldn't think at all. so i just went on WP's gallery to chill out. oh, another great way to get your thoughts back - make some GSR/Billy banners/avatars. but i think you know that already :lol:

heck yeah, sarah i'm a freakin' fangirl!! *jumps, yells and falls on the floor with a thud at billy's hottness*

Hi all now that ya'll mentioned Blood lust (which by the way that episode rocks!) Grissom said he was on a date right at the beginning of the episode I wonder who he was with?? :rolleyes: anyways...
For the latest poll i went for the third option. I felt that it was sort of Grissom telling Sara that but it didnt seem in a romantic way or at least not that i remember but Sara seemed a little upset and told him that "Some people are just not meant to be together" for me that was mad Sara. And then we see Grissom's look at the end of the scene he looked surprised he didnt expect for her to say that you know...so i think that they probably got mad at each other most likely Sara at him probably their first fight but who knows.

As for the thermite poll, I went with 'Grissom got sidetracked'. Cause he does so often. And when Sara made it personal he looked so startled. I really don't think it was his intention to be saying anything at all about their relationship, he was just happily going on about sciency-stuff as is his wont, and Sara's remark totally threw him off his guard. Personally, I'm curious about why she said what she did.. fight? why? How was it resolved? I feel so left out. *sob*

Anyway, welcome back GF, and huge welcome to Mitss.. Don't worry about your English, there are lots of people from other countries posting here.. in fact, a whole bunch of them are Dutch :D

If I had been granted permission to save the welcome basket and present it when Fogs wasn't around, I would do so. As it is, she'll be along shortly with it, I'm sure :)

I just read the article about Jorja Fox on the front page. :D YAY FOR PERSONAL LIVES OF CSI'S!

Anyway, I was talking to my friend about the article and she's like 'Hmm... I should go on that site' and I said back to her, 'Now you can see that I'm not crazy... Well, maybe I am, its just that everyone else is too' :p

He's so incredibly good in bed that she's angry?

It could happen.

It could be the Nick thing, or it could've just been some run-of-the-mill fight. Scullyastrinity's Summer Sizzler submission went along the same track as well.

Anyway, good to hear that Jorja and the rest of the CSI crew are still full steam ahead with regards to things getting more personal this year on the show.

Anyway, back on topic. For the Thermite poll, I voted for "Grissom got Sidetracked" (ooh, note to self, excellent title for a fic... :p ) - I think he got his groove on with one of his analogies (we all know how he loves those :lol: ) and it kinda sorta became personal...

Damn him for being so good in the bedroom! :lol: But seriously folks, my theory is they've been together a while at this point - maybe 6 months or so. And the thing with relationships is that, once you get past that wonderful "honeymoon" period, you do occassionally have to have fights - i think there's a law about it somewhere :lol: So, more than likely, the Geeks have had a row, Sara's still feeling a little raw about it and when she hears Grissom's thermite theory, her paranoid inner voice (come on, girls, we all have one) kicked in and wondered if he wasn't, at least a little, talking about them. And after a LONG time spent waiting, the idea of their relationship burning hot and quick, to the point of burning itself out, is probably not something Sara would relish the thought of.

However, given how they're acting the following week, it's pretty clear that they - uh - kissed and made up :)

Before I forget (again - bad fogi ), welcome to the gutter/bedroom (or the bedroom in the gutter) saragris, jordan, Mitss and anyone else I might have missed recently.
