I'd agree with that theory if it hadn't been for that deleted scene. Here is my theory (and I may have already stated this): They were going to do the scene and then have very very little interaction between the two so that it would spark questions but not be overt. They dropped the scenes, but kept all of the after-stuff, so it's in a totally different context now.

Bottom Line? At least just about EVERYONE in power on this show involved in GSR has admitted that it really is a living, breathing thing that is not just a part of the past (as many other shippers have argued). I can be patient... okay, I lie. But I have to be, so why not?

they havent really had so much interaction this season and i'm getting antsy. i'm usually good about waiting, but i want this so badly. you'd think they want to give is a holiday gift ...
 
Yeah it was sort of dissapointing.I thought DR might give us an early christmas present..but...well i´ll just have to stick to fics.And i can be patient..as long as in the end we get something good!
 
First things first - grisslybear, the music video was incredible; great job.

Since some of you have been asking about holiday fanfic, I just wanted to bring your attention to a seasonal fic that I have been working on for the past two weeks. It was originally inspired by the conversations I read in this forum.I finished it last night and will get the remaining chapters posted soon.
It is written as close to the format and style of the show as I can possibly make it.

Anyways here is the summary: A couple found dead in the mist of the holiday season finds Grissom, Warrick and Greg to figure out why. Meanwhile, Catherine, Sara and Nick have a little holiday mystery of their own.

How about "Emotionally Constipated"? It suggests that his hesitation is more of an unhealthy thing than "emotionally unavailable" does.

As for Z, what about "Zephyr"? As in, "Zephyr, get your ass back here and put a spell on those two, pronto!!"

zakleta_w_sokola: They could play that for whole season, from time to time throwing us some bone like in ABRTI 2, and everyone would be confused, then when the season ends we would have some "big bone", some big scene.

Okay, we need a discussion or something to liven thing up a little in here... that is, if there are any sad individuals like myself at home on a Saturday night... :lol:

I just looked at the poll results on page 17 and currently 31% think that Grissom and Sara are together, 13% think they're still a complete non-couple, but a wopping 56% think there in the pre-relationship, getting closer stage.

So lets run with that - how have they been getting closer? Have they been spending time together? Talking? Let's hear some nice juicy scenarios, theories and fantasies. And how close to being a couple do we think they are?
 
Wow, first of all, grissly, your video rocks! I'm feeling all teary now, *sniffle*, it was beautiful! :)

But that just made me wanting something happening and SOON! It's Christmas, I want to see, hear something cheerful!!

I also watched "Committed" earlier today and the ending had me screaming at the TV again! :D ARGHHHH! Why does he walk away??? :(

I'm in the process of writing Christmas fic, as well, but the moment, it's not that cheerful either! Not to mention, I have to work TOMORROW! :(

Somebody cheer me up, pleaseeeeeeee...
 
I think they are like back at that friendly stage-season 1 type-but also with all that history behind them..i think they are like talking a bit and having a few friendly laughs...(that could lead to something more in the gutter later LOL)

Nice fanfic vitality.
 
Sissi, greenfieldcsi, vitality, forensicsgirl, aggie: Thank you so much for the nice comments on my video. I am really flattered *blushes*. A lot of people apparently think this video is my best, it must be "the baby scene", admit it :D :lol:

And forensicsgirl, I got introduced to James Blunt after I watched your beautiful "Beautiful" video, so thanks for that :D

On the topic, as much as it looks like they might be close but are not "doing it" yet, the cut Gum Drops scenes make me think otherwise. I just don't see Grissom keeping his cool while Sara is wandering around clad in a towel, and Sara wandering around Grissom in a towel without a shy expression on her face in the first place! :eek: Unless this is an everyday occurence, of course ;)

So, if TPTB are keeping the planned timeline for this season the same, but just not showing us, looking at the GDrops scenes I would say they are as together as they can be. But I don't know if they changed their plans because of the GDrops events. If I didn't know about the spoilers, I'd say they are not in a relationship yet.
 
i always try to remain spoiler free for the *next* season. It never works. But usually i dont want to get my hopes up. :(.

and i agree with you grissly, if it wasn't for spoilers i would think they were just still flirting, but as the lack of *any* eye contact this season... flarbflarb.

frensicgirl, i agree we need a discussion too. my friends have abondoned me yet again, i'll be here for like 4 more hours. but we've picked everything to death 100x over. sigh.

I don't mean to be a nag but I've noticed people linking directly to the pictures on my server. I'm thoroughly happy that people are enjoying the site but could you link to the actual timeline, rather than the individual pictures?

It uses up my bandwidth and it doesn't really give other people the chance to see the full site. Well, thank you for listening :)
