Awww, now that would be the cutest scene ever. That would just come so natural. I just hope that when he sneaks up behind her she doesn't go in defense mode and kick his butt before she realizes it's him.:lol: Although, they do have a connection so she would probably feel his presence the minute he walks in the room.

Though it would be hilarious if she did :lol:! I think she could take him on, being the tough chick that she is. If Gil gets hurt, she could always kiss his injuries... we'd all love to see that!

That would be cute if he snuck up and wrapped his arms around her from behind. I think she would immediately recognize his touch though. Hehe. I could just see Cath calling Gil and saying, "Gil, you need to come here to help us. Hodges is missing and normally that wouldn't bother me, but he and Wendy are kinda together and she's so distraught that she can't do her job." :lol:

Nice pic, Erica. I was saying on the spoiler thread that when Cath finds out about Warrick's shooting that I hope we get a Gil/Cath hug out of it. Didn't he hug her when Mike Keppler died? It seems like he might have, but I can't really remember. Man, with the way she reacted to Mike's death (being that she hadn't known him all that long), I can only imagine how she's going to react to Warrick's. But, Gil will be there to help her through it, right?

Yeah, there was a cute little hug when Keppler died. Gil put his arm around Catherine, and squeezed her shoulder. It showed how very much he cares for her, even if he doesn't realize it sometimes. And I hope they comfort each other about Warrick as well. Both Gil and Catherine have a special bond with Warrick, so I hope some good scenes come out of the horrible situation.

Cause if so, I have to watch that ep again tomorrow. :lol: I'll have to go find some caps of that hug. Does anyone remember the name of the ep where Gil had ear surgery and Cath gave him that hug? I want to find caps of that ep too, but I don't even remember what season that was. :lol:

She would... she's so in tune with Gil that they have an almost telepathic connection. Though Gil kissing her on the cheek while hugging her would be the cherry on top! I think we'd all faint if that happened... *pokes TPTB* Did you get that guys? Make it happen already!

GNRF the episode where Keppler died is Law of Gravity. I like that episode a lot. The emotions were very powerful and I really felt sorry for him. Not to mention the scene where Gil took Cath away from the ambulance. The other episode you mentioned is Inside the Box. It's the season 3 finale, and one of my all-time favorite episodes. If you would like to see caps from that episode, I have them in a zip file which you can download here.

Spoiler: regarding Grissom's departure and what could happen after he's left

Did you all see the news about this Chris Owens guy being added to the opening credits after ep 9 this coming season? I don't know if he's supposed to be the replacement for Grissom or not... he's a little young looking to end up being the boss. I kind of think he'll be Warrick's replacement (in the credits) and that they'll get someone more well known for Grissom's replacement. But, Chris Owens' character is supposedly named S. O'Reilly. Which makes me wonder if he's gonna be related to that cop O'Reilly that used to work with the CSIs in earlier seasons. He was kind of short and stocky and had a flattop hairdo. Anyone remember him? Maybe this new guy is gonna be his son or something?

^Yeah, I thought that if anybody was going to replace Gil, it would be Catherine cause she definately qualifies. I mean he's told her before that she could take his place. Remember that episode when they were talking about it and she asked him if he was going somewhere and he said 'you never know'. I think she'll definately be the leader of the team.

If they don't make Catherine the leader, I think there will be very many ticked off Cath fans that will storm the studio lot in protest. :lol: She definitely should get the job. No outsider should be able to come in and take it. I think that if they do that then that character will be very hated by many die-hard Cath fans. :lol:

Thanks. I've been lurking around for awhile, but fear not, I haven't abandoned PureJoy. I'm still a crazyfan, I just don't really post much anymore.

On the topic of Gil leaving, I would love to see a heartfelt scene between him and Cath, just the two of them. Mabye she could walk in on him packing up his stuff, and I can just picture her trying to talk him out of leaving. But in the end, she'll tell him to do what makes him happy. Just like in Lab Rats, when she told him to go after Sara. It was obvious that she didn't really want him to, she just wants him to be happy.
