Just like in Lab Rats, when she told him to go after Sara. It was obvious that she didn't really want him to, she just wants him to be happy.

Oh, that would be heartbreaking if she did that... I don't like it when stuff like that happens, especially to a couple like Gil and Cath. I wish that things could have gone differently... I guess we'll have to see how things play out.

I definately agree...and I bet she wouldn't even have to use a whip.:lol: There's no way Gil would say no to her even if he wanted to. I mean, if he even thought about saying no, Cath would somehow know it.:lol: Let's face it, she's got him wrapped around her finger.

A heartfelt scene between Grissom and Catherine. It makes me sad that *that* is the last thing I'll ever wait for to happen between the two. *sigh*

I doubt anything drastic and wonderful like hooking the two of them up will happen before he leaves in the middle of Season 9. But one can hope, right? lol

I just re-watched "Mea Culpa" last night and I just have to say that I loved the Cath/Sofia scene. The way Cath was being so protective of Gil. She was telling Sofia that Gil did everything the right way. She was being nice, but protective at the same time. It was great!

I know I haven't been here for a while but that line just stood out to me.
You know I love it when Lady Heather gets involved with Gil and Cath.

With all the spoilers coming out for the upcoming season and Gil's eventual departure, I'm sure there has been a lot of speculation on how he will say goodbye to Catherine. This is what I see... I have this image of just the two of them walking out of the lab together, just talking. Just they way they used to. He might invite her over for breakast. Something sweet and cozy but not overly romantic (just like their relationship).

I can totally see that too... I just want there to be a scene between them. It wouldn't make sense not to have them say goodbye... I mean, they've been friends for twenty years as we've heard over and over again. That's not too much to ask for, is it?
