For some reason, I can't help but think that Gil would want to go somewhere very unusual. And of course, Cath would want to go somewhere very exotic. Maybe they can compromise...

I keep thinking New York just because Catherine hasn't been there yet. :lol: He'd probably want to go to somewhere with a unique history of something, like those old cities or ancient sites. Or places where he gets to have a good look at those bugs, like those rain forests. But really, I think Gil would take Catherine to the moon if that's what she wants.

Yeah, I'm also thinking he would like to go to far-off places on one of those archeological digs, like in China or Egypt. I don't think Cath would mind because of all the great food and sights in China and she'd probably like learning about the queens of ancient Egypt, especially Cleopatra for some reason.

So I went back to the PureJoy scenes from season one. Do you remember when Gil took Catherine to Disco Placid in Anonymous? Disco looked at Catherine a little to appreciatively. Catherine looked amused, and Gil looked jealous. He looked between the other two and his face looked like he was thinking "WTH?!" :lol: I made an icon from that scene ages ago. I love it... especially the jealous much? part at the end! Come to think of it, we don't see Gil being jealous over Cath very often. I would like to see a little more of that. Which reminds me, I've gotta see that episode. *rushes off*

karu, that was an excellent episode. It was one of the Paul Milander cases so basically the quality is guarenteed. There was the Catherine-and-Gil-finish-sentences-for-each-other thing and of course the scene I mentioned in my last post. Be prepared for one thing, though. I think after you have watched the episode, your head is going to be filled with nothing but repeated "I know I know I know I know I know..." :lol:

karu isn't that wonderful? I remember talking about this invisible bond between Catherine and Gil in one of our previous threads. That they don't even need to look at each other to know what the other is thinking. I think that's the thing that makes this ship so wonderful in the first place.

I know... it just goes to show that they have a strong relationship. I mean, they've been friends for over twenty years, so of course they're gonna have the telepathic communication down pat. We don't often see that kind of relationship anymore. *crosses fingers* I just hope that TPTB pay attention to their friendship even after Gil leaves.

You know I agree with whoever said that it could actually be a good thing for Purejoy when Gil leaves because what better reason to come back than Catherine? He would have no other reason to come back. If anybody could get him to come back, it would be Cath.

^ lol yes we've been a little slow in here. I guess some people are probably still sad about Billy's news. Cheer up peeps! As 4_H said, when Gil comes back one day, there would be only one reason and we know what/who it will be.

Nice pic, Erica. I was saying on the spoiler thread that when Cath finds out about Warrick's shooting that I hope we get a Gil/Cath hug out of it. Didn't he hug her when Mike Keppler died? It seems like he might have, but I can't really remember. Man, with the way she reacted to Mike's death (being that she hadn't known him all that long), I can only imagine how she's going to react to Warrick's. But, Gil will be there to help her through it, right?
