I totally understood why Cath brought Sara in to help her in that situation. At that point, Catherine had a feeling she'd just been roofied and raped by a man. Even though they're not extremely close friends, having a woman there to help her brought Catherine some comfort after just being "used" by a man. Plus, if you remember Catherine's comment later to Gil that she would have told him but didn't want a sermon. Gil being the ass he had been lately, she knew the first thing out of his mouth would have been some kind of reprimand for her.

Looking at Lindsey in the hospital? Huh? What am I not remembering here? Did we see Lindsey between the crash and the rescue? Guess I really need to go back and start re-watching season 7 again because I'm forgetting a lot of things. Maybe my brain is purposely trying to forget some of these things?

I think Sara was the right choice for Catherine as a CSI to call on, i always felt their relationship improved since Cath offered to take Sara out after she found out Hank was cheating on her. I only managed to see BTK1 and like 5 mins of BTK2 because i had to get an early for my exam. But i really liked the G/C interaction at the beginning.
But i was really surprised to see that this time Catherine got the last line before the credits Because every episode I've ever seen, Gil always gets that line. I think Cath's picking up Gil's oneliners from him

Yeah I can see why she called Sara, but I wanted her to call Gil, just for the G/Cness lol.

who kidnapped her and was shot at the house where they kept lindsay...
