You've perfectly summarized the Cath ang Grissom relationship and that's why I ship them since the season 1 !

A smiling Gil when he's with Catherine ? why I'm not surprised ? She's the only one being able to make him smile this season

Sometimes i think im blind cause all the shippy i see is GC... and people say there's other ships too you know! Well, :lol: maybe my brain is just stuck in GC love...

I undersatnd what you're saying, mj. I'm a bit blind too, for what concerns other ships. But not only in CSI, also in other shows. I don't usually ship anything. Ecxept for GC. And I think that's because PureJoy is not only about CSI, but it's a State of Mind.

Back to the pics: what a wonderful smile Gil has there. Even his eyes are smiling and that's a lovely change from that dour, almost transparent man that he's been this season. That's what Catherine's presence by his side does to him. You see? Spending time with Catherine is easy and full of wholesome goodness for Gil.

But, Rissa is right. The promo is misleading. Those pics are from about the only scene that Cath and Gil will be sharing this Thursday. There's going to be a lot of Unpleasantness: the script for this ep was written - and the shooting finished - weeks before now, before the ratings tumble started to rattle Carol M & her crew. They can't change the minimal GC, but lookie... they're selling the ep like it was a GC ep. Pffft.

Yeay new G/C pics thanks for posting them Hottie.

Even if they are only in it for like 10 seconds together its still better than nothing, we're gradually getting more consistent bits of G/C i think theres been a little in most episodes And its so cool that Gil finally smiles and he does so when he's with Cath, i hope she smiles back

Well maybe them selling the episode as a G/C ep is a good thing, maybe theyve finally realised that G/C is what the viewers want

Wow thanks guys I'm finally 16 now! WOOT. :lol: I don't feel much older though. Meh. Time's a confusing thing, and yes everyone can call me Gravy or Gravey whichever one floats your boat.

G/C sells? Yes, I think we've talked about this before to an extent. I don't watch promos anymore because they get my foolish heart all riled up and it just deflates as I realize that the little GC clip wasn't actually in the episode. Damn editing. Eugh. Sometimes it's really frustrating.

And Gil smiling for the first time this season. I actually think that's true. (trying to remember now)...no can't remember when he did. YAY Catherine. Finally broke through. I guess people were thinking EmoGris when they saw him smile.

And there are other ships? Really? Are we sure? *takes out binoculars*

And I think people just know that if they market it as a GC episode, they'll get better ratings.

<----agrees with drumchik. we've seen what happens when gc are heavily employed in promos---ratings rise considerably.

GC + advertising = rating increase
that's my math for the day.

Wasn't there a nice little GC promo pic for Rashomama after that dryspell in season 6? Wasn't that why people tuned in? Grissom + Catherine + wedding = more viewers. Come on, it's not rocket science!!!

one slip? takes at least two slips dear. and then it's gc as it appears in your head.

ok, now i saw a promo for this weeks ep and it was very gc heavy. as we all know by now the promos lie and that is most likely all the gc there will be.
