Hahaha kay, I definitely agree with you on the dummy remark. That was so hilarious and so true. :lol: Yes I did notice the Eddie moments and I love that Catherine is never ashamed of talking about her failed marriage. Well she has no reason to be ashamed, but still...

And I told ya Gil knows what Cath has in her purse and locker. :D

Now, who's checking out her tushie again?

he so looks like he's going for the grab there, so does the suspect, lol.

have we mentioned george's dog yet? his dog was in the ep also.

which leads me back to cath's purse and locker. it's amazing that he knows what she carries with her. i mean seriously, how many of your male friends know what is in your purse/locker?

Yeah, that was George's dog "Maverick". That's why he was the one petting him. They also made a small reference to Maverick again in Caged, with the little puppy from the lady that died in the train/suv crash. TPTB gave that dog the name "maverick" in honor of George's dog.

coolc, kay talked about the Eddie moments in her previous posts. Go back and look. :D ITA about not many male friends know what is in a female's purse/locker. Sometimes even boyfriends or husbands don't know about that. So Cath and Gil must be really really close to each other so Gil knows these tiny things about her. :) As for the cap I posted earlier, I think Tony's girlfriend (what is her name again?) looks like she's trying to Grab Tom while Gil was going for the tushie. :lol:

oh, lol. i see now. yeah, that was a nice bit of character revelation within one line. poor cath but i love how she just keeps going.

and honestly, do you really think it wise for me to cap right now?

oh, question...do you think cath ever partied with the braun boys? do you think sam told the boys she was off limits at any time?

I think Catherine had partied with the Braun boys, yes. I think the two families were close enough for them to do that together. Remember that in Ellie, Cath was Sam's date when his new casino opened in Reno. Also, judging from the interaction (or non-interaction, in fact) between Cath and Walt and how well Cath knew Tony, I'd say these people were pretty familiar with each other.

Hey liz *waves* so you're the one who posted about the Billy interview? You're the one I'd been trying to thank in one of my previous posts :lol: Anyway, everybody makes mistakes so don't stop posting ;)

I'm like catherine, I don't remember much about Burked but the caps that you all had posted had refreshed some of my memory. The position of cath's right hand in the dummy pic had me in stitches :lol: that was the first thing I noticed too and I wonder if gil's thoughts had strayed when he saw her walking in with the dummy like that :D

kay I agree that we've got enough dummies regarding CSI. If we're petitioning for the comeback of the dummies we must make sure to bring back the right ones ;)

ITA! I would say that majority of them have no idea what their girlfriends or wives have in their bags. (At least that's how things are for the people around me) Even for a close friend, gil does remember alot of these tiny details about cath, he even remembered lindsey's spider joke after so many years. Cath takes note of little details about him too like when he last had his migraine. They are always sweet like that. :)

I think Cath did party with the Braun boys. I can see both she & Eddie hanging out with them and enjoying that kind of party (i.e. drugs) It kind of freaked me out the cool way that Cath was assessing the situation with Gil in such an autonomous manner:
GRISSOM: All seems very neat and peaceful, doesn't it?
CATH: Chasing the dragon. A pinch of "H." Heat the foil. Inhale the fumes.
GRISSOM: With a Xanax back. 100 pills. Prescription filled yesterday.
BRASS: So the rumors about ol' Tony boy are true. Drug overdose.
CATH: It sure seems that way.

It's kind of interesting to see how TPTB have had many drug references/cases with Cath involved and giving Cath some first-hand insight: Last laugh (cite your source), organ grinder (not dandruff), recipe for murder (some things never change), etc. Makes me wonder if TPTB will, somewhere down the line, have Cath start down that road again. you know the saying "once an addict, always an addict". that's why it makes me cringe each time she has one of those scenes.

No, please, no drugs. i might seriously think of killing someone, if they go that road.

And I think nobody knows what's in her locker&purse, maybe not even Cath herself...So Gil is either spying on her or...I have to quote Greggo here: these two are "Very tight" :D

I agree with you for the drugs, Fra !
But since viewers like the Cath drama, T_TB could take this road :rolleyes: and I don't think that Gil needs to spy Catherine to know what is in her purse ! so, the question is : how do they know all those things about each other ? :D

It's strange. I wouldn't mind seeing Cath go down that road again as long as it's well written. I think it would be another great chance to do a character study, but I'm sure some of the viewers wouldn't be able to stand the drama. LOL. Think about this...Catherine starts using drug again and Gil notices. They have ugly fights and blame things on each other, but Gil still comes to her rescue at the end. I know. A girl can dream. :D

That would be a good scenario, E. Because, you know Gil would be right there helping her through it. (remember, he asked her to cite her source!) However, I can't see TPTB actually going down the drug path - only because they've made Catherine a strong character who's overcome so much in her past.

I just find it interesting that TPTB keep allowing her some of the cute drug one-liner references, especially with her character being an ex-addict.

I'm guessing Marg would be totally against that as well. Which character was it - her ER appearance maybe? - where the writers wanted her to OD and she put her foot down and said "that ain't gonna happen".

Oh yeah. I didn't think about that, kay. If my memory serves right, Marg was worried that her character being OD would have bad influence on Hughie. She probably still wouldn't want her character to do drugs now since Hughie is a teenager now...at the age when people is easily influenced. Anyway, I don't think it's going to happen, either, for the reasons you stated above, but man, it'd be a great story line if it happened. TPTB might not be good at some storylines, but heck, they're great at Cath!Drama. LOL.

but I'm not sure that T_TP have this kind of ideas to write such a scenario . It's too CGRish :rolleyes:
