Gas..How Much are you paying???

There is still a place up here, near St. Catherine's at 97.9. The other places that were selling the gas at those prices, sold out. I have never heard of multiple gas stations being out of gas.

$2.99/for a gallon of regular and we have a 12 gallon car. I hear it's $5.67 in Atlanta! I hope it doesn't spread up here!

Nah. That was just at one gas station. And I think they got busted for price gouging (sp?). I saw that on the news too.

It was $2.99 a gallon for regular here today but some stations have it at $3.09 for regular. Just depends on where you shop. Hm... what's the conversion from liters to gallons? *looks it up* 1 gallon = 3.79 liters. So that would make it like 0.79 cent a liter here, right?

Dang I wish we could pay 0.79 for gas! That'd be great! You have the same prices as me awesomeredhead. I saw something here on the local news about price gouging. I can't believe people would do that in a time like this but people don't really surprise me anymore either. Greedy bunch of people!

As of 10AM these are the prices of gas:

Sunoco: 113.06
Petro-Canada: 113.09
Petro-Canada: 125.8
Esso: 126.9
Shell: 125.8
Sunoco: 113.9

And then there's the one in St. Catharine's. Makes me wish we lived there :(. It's still ten cents more expensive up here. Even with the conversion.

One station around here ran out of gas because their prices were so much lower then the others at 2.95 a gal, and another station was at 2.99 a gal.
Now where we get gas it was early this morning 3.10 a gal and on the rise up.
One place had it at 3.25 a gal, which was crazy cause around them were the 3.09's apparently not looking to sell gas.

I filled up both vehicals on Monday when it was 2.50 a gallon, we try to not use the car as it is a lincoln towncar and that sucks gas like no tomorrow, so we use the ford ranger smaller and definitly takes less gas, i have been zipping around and i have yet to leave the "Full" mark, which will probably happen tomorrow lol.

But the prices are getting way out of hand and now they are saying to expect just more then gas to go up in prices, its just out of hand IMO.

It's around $3.09 a gallon on average here, I was able to get gas in my car when it was still $2.80 yesterday. The gas station down the street only had one pump left w/ gas in it this evening.
