Forensic Science Trivia Game!

Thank you & hi!

Erm okay.. easy one.
What are the differences between DNA and RNA?

Yeah, the sugar (in this case a pentose) in DNA is desoxyribose and in RNA ribose. But there is more..

Let's give the others a try.
Or do some googling hehe

No one knows the answer(s)? Or is no one interested?
I would be very sad, if this game stopped. :( So let me know what you guys want.

I'll post two of the three answers left (don't wan't to take thet turn again :D)

DNA has two strands, RNA only one.
DNA has Thymine and RNA Uracile.

One more left :D

Yep! These are right.
Are you sure you don't want to take the turn? Or don't you know the answer left? :D
I think, there's some provocation and inciting needed to keep this game going. *yawns*

DNA exist out of thousands of nucleotides, while RNA exist out of hundreds of nucleotides. In other words: a DNA molecule is longer than a RNA molecule.

You thought I didn't know, did you :D

actually although RNA is smaller.. thats not the reall difference. The real difference is in the nucleotides... there is a difference in the structure of the molecules... RNA either has an extra oxygen or one less oxygen (or sommat like that!!)

What you mean, lkhmoony_mac, is that ribose has an oxygen more than desoxyribose (nomen est omen!). But we've already pointed out that difference.

Okay, the lenght is one more difference (I think you find many more diffs if you go into more detail, [functions etc.]) but actually, I was thinking about an easier one. Concerning where you find DNA and RNA *hint hint*

Anyway CSI007WW, I would say it's your turn :D
