Fifth Season Of 'CSI' Will Focus On Characters

I've also been thinking about rape.. I think that's the most logical reason to why she gets so emotional with the rape and abuse cases. I can't help but feel sorry for her! I know they're just character on a TV show, but they're almost like real people to me, and I get so sad when bad things happen to them! :(

im the same way most times. i think cause i like to write so characters become real to me. And i know that if she has been raped (something has to be dramatic enough) i will cry. Because we all know that they will make it sad. I do think it was before she met Grissom but not when she was a child. That is Nick's problem and i dont think they would have two with the same issue. I am thinking that if she was raped her case was sealed people could not use it agenst her.

I totally forgot that Nick had been abused! I never saw the episode (I got into the series too late), but I had heard that. Thanks for the reminder! You're right... too similar. :)

I was thinking that maybe they could give Grissom an illegitimate child who pops up. Who knows, it could work. He/she could be a brain like Grissom and work in the lab- that could add some tension, conflict, create some dilemmas, etc.... The article said they want to show Grissom's vulnerability, that he can make mistakes....so who knows....Just a thought :)

I will cry too if Sara has been raped! I feel like all the bad things happen to her! :(
but still she is such a strong character, and never lets anything interfere with her work! I admire all the CSI characters, but I admire Sara the most. :) I don't like it when bad things happen to her!

I don't know about illigitimate child, but I'm all for showing Grissom's vulnerability. I know that some people say a "Real man doesn't cry.." but I love to see a man cry. I know that sounds sick, but I mean it in a pure way... it lets you know that they're human too... It's just comforting somehow.

    ..you are just evil really?...i totally would love to see grissom cry... :D..i would take pleasure in their suffering...cos im evil..in some ways... :D

If Grissom is going to cry, it better be about Sara! maybe about her "secret" or something.. that would be good!

Hehe. I'm not TOOO evil  just... a little I guess.... Suffering (not tooooo much, but some) can make a show more fun... ;)

I'm kinda thinking that she was raped too, maybe in HS or at the begining of college. But maybe something happened to her in SF, after all she did just drop everything to go to LV, Griss could be her saviour from bad memories?

Ooh! I like that. Grissom is her distraction!!! Grissom can be her hobby!

very good idea, Ravyn! :)
I think Grissom is very important to Sara as a friend, and even if he might not end up in a relationship with her, it really would mean a lot to her that he's supportive.

See now about the thing with Grissom crying, if he does, it will most likely be about Sara. And if Sara was raped, which now come to think of it is a good possibility, then I will, along with many others I'm positive, be heartbroken for her. But now that I have thought about it, I watched parts of Coming of Rage and Bloodlines, and in CoR she was empathetic to that girl Ashley and in Bloodlines she didn't even want to do the interview or take the stament. Personally this is freaking me out. Oh, I hope it isn't...ya know....REALLY bad. :( :(

:Freaks Out:

Hm, it'll be good seeing Greggo out in the field. But I do not like CSi concentrating on the characters personal life ... if that what there going to do? The first full eppy I watched was when they were all interested in their partner's life out of work, and that has what turned me off, tho i have seen a couple of good episodes.

I also immediately thought of Sara being raped, though the writers always do something else than what should be logical.
