"Father of the Bride" Discussion **SPOILERS**

Yeah, big time weird that Haskell has such a hate-on for Ray when it should be the other way around.

Mel, I think it was a reference to Ray because of how he reacted toward the "bride" and being angry about the techs being away.

Sofia looked lovely though yes I think she was underused. But then again this wasn't a "Sofia" episode like Unleased wasn't a "Heather" episode. When you're there to just further along the plot, there's not much you can do.

Hodges is moving out on mom...could he be running away from something or running to someone?

Cath was able to pull Ray back in when he wanted to go off half cocked. I liked that. I liked the respect he showed her...

I kind of liked Ray jumping out of the van yelling, "SHE'S A BRIDE!!!!" and then tackling that psycho chick!

Akers was funny talking about the cello..."That's just wrong." So the same piece was playing at the farm house and also Gloria was playing it in L.A. And next week is "Cello and Goodbye". I sense a theme.

I also liked that Akers took the lead in the house instead of the cop following the CSI's in like they do lately. Just another sign that I believe they are listening to us. ;)

I tried watching the episode this morning, but I could not focus on it to save my life. The only thing that was remotely cool was Catherine going all HBIC on Ray when he started to storm away, and him actually listening to her. I think I saw about 20 seconds of Sofia.

Next week's doesn't look any better. This whole season has pretty much been a big ol' bucket of HO HUM.

About the "Brides,"....I had to laugh at my teenage son's observation: "Brides? Is that like Charlie Sheen's goddesses?"

It was really great to see Sofia again. Her new shield suits her and she still looks great. Hope she'll be back next season.

I'm so sick and tired of Ray and his personal demon Haskell. If this story line is suppose to be a copy of the Miniature Killer, it's a really bad and annoying story. I hope it will end with the end of the season - for good

Not a horrific episode, given Raskell I was expecting worse. Thought that the scene with Cath and Ray was great. I liked how she was firm and he listened. Well played by both actors. Also, even though I saw and felt the desperation from Ray I think he was able to pull back in and I liked it. Kudos to LF for finding that balance for the character between really wanting to get the guy but knowing there were limitations within his job. Guess that won't be the case in upcoming episodes though (for the character not for LF).

"Do you think it's strange that I gave birth to the true bride of my husband?" creepy, creepy line.....

I also enjoyed seeing Sofia for the whole 30 seconds she was on :shifty:. I expected much more.

Spot the mistake *g*

Yeah, him jumping out of the van was kind of humorous. And Akers comment about the music made me chuckle. I like that he went in first too.

Oh man, thats hilarious!

not as much Sofia as I would of liked, but she rocked her scenes, I was waiting for the "conflict" for the whole episode, but no conflict came.

As I began watching the episode, I thought "hey, Ray IS bearable" then he had to argue with Catherine, yes he listened in the end, but he was SO rude to his supervisor.

As Raskell episodes go, this was great, I loved the Nick & Catherine scenes, and the promo for "Cello and Goodbye", even with the tiny bit of Lis Harnois it had in it, proved that she IS going to ROCK!

and we now know that cello refers to Langston's ex's instrument, I assumed it was a failed pun at "Cell" and "Hello"
