So, today, I'll be leaving you. For all those of you who have tried to be nice to me, I hope you have a nice life. For all those of you who don't like me, I don't blame you. No one likes me, so have a nice life anyway.

Stop lying to people about having babies and strange names and sob stories and they'll like you just fine. You brought this upon yourself, sorry to say.

Anyway, moving on. Any scene we get today would be fine. I have the day off--I never get Mondays off, so maybe that's a good omen. Except I just jinxed it. I need some salt stat.

Ok, I think I get it now.

I'm slowly moving to the dark side again...or the fanfic side. I swore (well, not really, just thought it was for my best interest) that I won't read fanfics again because my little brain gets confused easily but after the Christmas challenge, I'm hooked again! Plus, the endless reruns that we're going to get after tonight is a great excuse for me to go back to reading fanfics :D Oh, I'll be doomed. So if I start asking what episode was a particular scene was in and it turned out to be from a fanfic, just virtually hit my head and tell me I'm an idiot and it'll be understood ;)

I so hope tonight's ep is worthy of being the last episode that we get until probably next season. Sigh.

ok? this a weird day in this forum

anyways, kind of excited for tonight. bitter-sweet since it's a new episode yet it's going to be the last one for some time :(

What exactly are the WGA and the other side doing these days, I mean have they been negotiating or talking or SOMETHING??? I'm so tired of this...

On September the 28th 1986, Lauren Steele was born to parents who didn't want her and couldn't afford to keep her. If it wasn't for her mothers desparate pleas, she'd probably be happy right now. Instead of putting the girl up for adoption, the parents kept her. Until she was four, she lived with her grandma. Then for the next fourteen years she was daily abused by her father, who never wanted her in the first place. At the age of 18, she changed her name and tried to start her life afresh. Upon encountering people who she deemed to be hurtful, she would run away, just like she had tried to do when she encountered her father after downing any amount of alcohol.

I hope for you that this is not true. If it is, I'm really sorry.

Apropos tonight, could you please feed me with lots of spoilers, cuz I'll probably have to wait a week before beeing able to see it. :(

You know, what with the strike, say it ended tomorrow ... how long would we have to wait for new episodes (with the writing and filming)? Anyone?

JJ

On September the 15th, 1988, Lucy was born and the sky cackled with the vengeance of a thousand bloody zombies, 'cause zombies are cool as fuck. Lucy's parents couldn't control her so they tossed her into an orphanage in China at age 4. Nobody wanted her so she developed severe feelings of abandonment and in her 14 years at the orphanage, she was abused and neglected so she now suffers from fifty different disorders/complexes (all medically diagnosed--and that has to be emphasized because people online are not gullible at all). Lucy was especially handicapped by emojitis and attentionwhoreplasia, which she carries with her to this very day. She had a last name at birth but dropped it when she turned 18 because let's face it, that's totally in right now. One day, she slipped on a plane headed for Canada. Upon reaching the igloo-ridden country, she perfected English in 2 days. Now she works as an astronaut and just left for her first space mission. She communicates with her Talk CSI buddies through the magic of NASA, which everyone has to believe because Lucy said it and Lucy rules all.

June - Muahaha, welcome (back) to the dark side. I think you can indulge yourself now since the strike doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon so it'd be impossible to get confused between fanfic and canon. ;)

Jessica - Yes, that was the scene! I love it. The look on her face when she's kinda teasing him about it and the look on her face when he says, "maybe when I find the right girl," are amazing.

P.S. My icon is more awesome than your icon.

Lucy said it and Lucy rules all.
Wow, this is going to my head! ;)

*Mod hat on* I'm receiving complaints, and people are feeling uncomfortable. I'm not fully aware of the history of what's been going on, and I'm not sure what to believe. I do know that it's all very off-topic. Also, a few comments have been personally insulting, which regardless of circumstances, is not tolerated. Can we move on from this please? Thanks.

Long story short: someone came in, lied about her name and who she was, and where she's from, pretended to be pregnant, pretended to have a baby, posted fake pictures of someone else's baby, and when we outed her she made up another story about being abused (in a picture dated 2002 she looks like she was 9 years old at the time, so no way is she over 18). It wouldn't have been so bad except she kept talking about her personal life in every single post and trying to veer the thread off topic to have everyone focus on her. Just another internet attention seeking nutcase. It's all over now, so I agree let's move on. But everyone should know the truth because she had a bunch of people in this thread emotionally invested in her so-called baby (even though it was so obvious she was faking it from the start). I don't care about people lying about who they are online, everyone does it to some degree, but when it starts hurting other people it shouldn't be tolerated.

Anyway, being an internet detective is exhausting and now I just wanna sit back and relax and watch another ridiculous episode of CSI: Miami. It's all about Ho tonight. The laughter shall never cease.

I understand that this board has rules and I'll try my best to follow them, but just my $0.02, I don't think someone who has played around carelessly with other people's emotions deserves the respect the rules are asking of me.

So nobody else has element suggestions for the V-Day challenge? You don't have to write anything if you suggest an element, but you might certainly get other people's creative juices flowing and that = more EC fic = yay. Elements!

For tonight, well, at least Valera's in it. Maybe there'll be another awesome E/C/V scene. I'm hopeful. I actually enjoyed Miami Confidential despite the fact that there was no EC and was all Natalia.

Valera is awesome, but I bet she'll only have a scene with Horatio to confirm that Jesse is Kyle's mom. Sucks. Valera shouldn't be exposed to too much Ho.

It feels weird getting a new episode. And after this we might not have a new one until September. What the hell are we gonna do till then? Constant fanfic challenge? Hump day challenges? Get your porn in every Wednesday?

I can't think of an element, but I'll try to come up with one.

I will suggest a few random elements... and maybe participate. (I still have no idea how my glitter glue suggestion was taken seriously though... but maybe that's the point?)

"something that needs new batteries"
"hospital scrubs"
"an eyelash curler"

I was thrilled to see a new chapter of "Time Tells" posted! Now I feel the need to contribute something to help tide us over 'til September. That and the guilt of not taking any classes this semester or having a newborn at home... I am quickly running out of good excuses!

Thanks for the explanation Carol - much appreciated.

I can hardly contain myself! I hope we at least get some E/C scenes to make things bearable. :)

Elemets? Okay, I'll try my hand at some...
*A broken clock*
*Lightening*
*A short Chinese man*

Hah. Okay, wow.
*headdesk*

Ok, so now I understand why they chose this as the last episode to air. It's basically like the season finale for Miami with its cliffhanger.

There was only a couple of EC scenes in it. Cute how Cal was all confident and Eric was like "ok, since you're so sure of your self, why don't you confirm it" or something like that. And he had playful smile :) Cal's so cute when she pouts!

I can't believe this is it! OMG I WANNA GO CANON SO BAD!

Elements for the Valentines challenge...

a black eye
a black and white photo
Hannah Montana

Just three random thoughts. ;)

Wow drama day much?
Moving on. I really wasn't interested in today's episode. But I liked that they kind of left us hanging at the end. The face that Calleigh made when she was wrong and Eric was right was so cute. At least we got some scenes which is better than none.

As for an element, how about a heart-shaped box filled with Ferrero Rocher chocolates. My favorites.
