For the challenge I think I'll suggest 'a strange smell'. Cause.

So if I skip the episode, I won't miss anything? It's about to air anyway, but God, I can't stand Horatio drama.

Yeah Leyne I agree, that little scene we got of E/C was pretty cute! Cal's cute when she pouts a bit cuz she's wrong and Eric's grin is SOOO cute! :D

I really like Cal in this ep, she's great! And I liked this eppy...I wonder why...oh wait I know, NO JAKE!

Sad day that this is the "finale" though, RAR! I want my freakin' E/C canon already, geez!!

I almost had a heartattack though, I thought for the first time ever that they weren't going to have H have the final "pre-credit" words...I almost thought Julia would be the one to have that famous first last word...but of course not, it was still H!  I didn't hate all the H drama in this one amazingly enough...although I am not a fan of Elizabeth Berkely! :p She annoys me! But since this is the E/C thread...I loved the little bitty E/C scene we did get! :D Two seconds together and still that's all I need to know they're HOT for eachother!

EC scene: short but way cute. Eric's smile around Calleigh is just so unique. The whole "since you're so sure of yourself" line and Cal being wrong made me smile. Then the extra scene we got with them walking down the hall together, even if it wasn't romantic at least they were in more than one scene together. Not exactly what we were hoping for but at least they smiled and teased each other. ;)

And I agree that_girl1 I aslo liked that they left us hanging at the end like that. Miami needs more surprising endings and storylines.

Totally pissed about being left hanging like that considering the strike but overall being left like that was a nice change for Miami.

Now as far as E/C goes, was a little disappointed that we didn't get anything definitive but the scene with the print card was cute. She was sooo sure she was right, mainly b/c usually she is!! So it was nice to see her be wrong and him right in that instance.

At least we got some sort of scene with them together, albeit it was not what we wanted but it was something none the less. They are just sooo cute together...I really think that if they were in a relationship they would be able to separate work and personal life.

Clip.

I fell asleep 15 minutes after the episode aired. Forget lullabies! Pop in a Miami DVD and even the fussiest baby will fall right asleep!

I don't think Horatio is capable of having chemistry with anyone. Except Yelena. They're cool, but Jesus Christ, every other female they've tried putting him with threatened to turn me asexual (yes, I'm lookin' at you, Rebecca Nevins).

The EC scene was cute, but it was a little weird that Calleigh was so sure about it without looking at the evidence. Maybe Jake's a bad influence. And she was kinda cold/dismissive when she left, so that was weird, too. Calleigh looked so pretty, though. I love it when she wears green.

Ohh! Thank you so much for making that clip. Aw!

*rotl* You guys crack me up!

As I've not yet seen the ep, I cannot take sides.

About Calleigh being cold, maybe she was embarrassed. But the thing is, I already thought she acted cold in "Guerrillas in the Mist". Mh, now the feminist side in me likes it that she is not all goofy-eyes in front of him (though I like it if Eric is), but then the shippy side makes me want to wave my little E/C flag. We definitely need more on the physical side of this relationship. ;)

I liked it. Tuned out the majority and still managed to follow, which I think says a lot but...

I think Calleigh was a little cold. But not with him. We all know how much she hates being wrong, I just think it was a bit of a, 'he's getting under my skin' issue. He's throwing her off ;)

I loved her out  So hot. And Eric's look at her after was great.

I agree, being left in the dark is a tad annoying, but I expected it. Also, I can't believe that's all the gave us on the EC front. post ep, someone. Maybe with some angry-Calleigh-finally-throws-a-shocked-Eric-up-against-the-wall action? :D

Wrote this in the Raising Caine forum. Thought it can also be posted here.

"Eric's and Calleigh's scene reminded me of the scene in Born to Kill when the little girl went missing and Calleigh got all judgemental and said she couldn't feel sorry for the mom because she was a killer and Eric said that family's psychology runs deep and makes you do things you never though you would."

She then said he was right. So the few times Calleigh is wrong Eric's the one to correct her. The thing is she doesn't get mad or anything, she just accepts it. ;)

Yep, me too. That was so totally Calleigh. Eric looked like the cat who got the cream.

And that's good, or? Aw! Now he just needs to make her understand that she's wrong in thinking they won't do well together. *nudges Eric*

Ummmm....so whoa. With the internet and not personally meeting people you talk to, I guess there's always the possibility that something hinky (there's a CSI word for you :D) may be going on. Even in the 'real' world with people you have met, you may not know them as well as you think. The internet makes it that much more difficult to discern the truth, and that's kind of scary.

Okay, so I know that's supposed to be over and done with, so that was all I had to say about that. I do have things to say about other stuff though (I know, I always have stuff to say;))

Last night's eppy: I'm with Calleigh, Kyle's mom is a shifty character, and she obviously had a hand in it. I'm excited to see how it will play out in the future, but I don't really like the idea of adding the drama of Horatio caring for a sixteen year old boy...we could have stuck with the Ray drama, that way Horatio was involved, but we didn't have to hear a lot about it all the time. If that's the season finale, I'm going to cry.

Lucy, I generally try to limit my porn exposure, but I promise I won't discourage anyone from writing it. Please don't kick me out :). Honestly, I do like the way Jessica writes on that fine line, but some of the other fics I've read, whether they are sex scenes or hot kissing scenes aren't done that well. Can I discourage poorly-written, tacky, and totally unrealistic sex/make-out scenes?? (Yup...I'm going to stop this vein before I get myself into trouble)
And yeah, mojitos are really good. Never thought I'd actually like the taste of rum, but there you go.

Thanks for the pics and the clip Luce!

I don't necessarily thought of Calleigh as cold. She just doesn't like being wrong. She reminds me of kid who didn't get the toy she wanted from the store and all pouty, which is sooo adorable! I can totally see that side of her in a relationship with Eric and he'll be teasing her then be sweet to her later on.

According to Insider (or was it ET?), Berkely's character is supposed to be a recurrent role once the strike is over. Hopefully we'll be able to see wet suit Eric again with the car being down under water. Hopefully Calleigh would be there when he dives down so she'll realize what she's missing out with those biceps and abs

OK, so I've rewatched the scene and I think you're probably right.

Oh, and did you notice her eyes straying shortly before she left. *got flashing mind control*

Meh. I was unimpressed with last night's episode. It was really hard for me to pay attention for some reason. And I really, really do NOT like Horatio's ex.

But yeah, our teeny tiny scene was cute, and then later they looked hot walking down the hallway together. :D Thanks for that clip, Lucy, and I agree - I love when Cal wears green. :D

And I love when Calleigh does those pouty eyes of hers at Eric, hee. How Eric keeps from leaning across the table to kiss her is beyond me, but then again, I also don't understand how Calleigh isn't ripping those flowery shirts of his off every chance she gets either, so...

Jakes going to stay on? I thought JW had some other committments? Huh.

Oh, random here: I don't know if any of you have ever seen Empire Records, but it is hilarious. It has JW as well as Rory Cochrane and a whole mess of other people, but they're all so young! I saw it a couple weeks ago for the first time, and yeah...

No kidding. Sometimes I'm amazed with the people they get caught up with.

I'm torn with this one: either she doesn't rip them off because she's afraid of the shirts and knows that if she rips it, two will grow in the place, or she just has way too much self control.

Jacks, I love that movie!

There seem to be no theme in wardrobe last night that I noticed. I agree with you all, though, how pretty Calleigh was last night and that she really looked good in green. Now, if only someone in wardrobe burn the flowery shirts that Eric wears all would be good.
