Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

Calleigh and Caroline have the same number of letters, at least.

Oh, and Jackie, in my equation, Eric and Calleigh are totally doing it behind the equal sign. ;)

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

Well, a while ago we found some sort of astrological reading that said Eric and Calleigh would have the ideal relationship. Something about their zodiac signs. If you can't believe in questionable and strange astrological places on the internet, what can you believe in?

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

I just filled out one of those online astrology thingys for the heck of it. I'm not sure what you guys found, but this is what they gave me:

Eric's Sun Opposition Calleigh's Saturn:

It is likely that a restrictive, limiting, and even oppressive tone develops in this relationship. Calleigh can fall into the role of being the parent, teacher, or taskmaster of Eric, causing Eric to feel inhibited and confined by Calleigh's seriousness and inflexibility. If Eric can benefit from the responsible and concerned attitude of Calleigh and Calleigh can refrain from taking problems or concerns too seriously, then the positive sense of maturity, responsibility, and stability of the relationship can overcome the negative tendencies.

Calleigh's Sun Trine Eric's Uranus:

Playfulness and a zest for newness infuse your realtionship. You really spark each other's imagination and creativity. This quality is especially welcome in a long-term relationship because you will not fall into a lifeless routine. You spur each other to explore, take risks, and develop new creative outlets. You encourage each other's independence and you have faith in one another's creative, inventive ideas and interests.

Eric's Sun Sextile Calleigh's Jupiter:

The two of you really enjoy each other's company! Calleigh has a great deal of confidence in Eric and is able to see Eric's best qualities. You are very encouraging and supportive of each other, helping each other to be more confident, open new doors, and advance and grow in both inner and outer ways. This positive note of good will and harmony is also invaluable in helping the two of you overcome differences in temperament and other stressful aspects of your relationship discussed elsewhere in this report.

Of course, they misspelled 'relationship' but hey, I'll take what I can get. And 'elsewhere in this report' refers to me paying 20 bucks to gain a deeper insight into two fictional TV characters. Nooo thanks.

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

That wasn't the one I found, but yeah, it's pretty close. The one we had was more extensive and talked about how they brought out each other's best qualities, etc, and stuff about Calleigh being emotionally closed off and Eric helping her open her mind to new possibilities.

But hey, that's two sites that say pretty much the same thing. OTP, bitches.

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

I bet the writers sat around a conference table with their little astrology books and the daily paper open to the horoscopes page when they were messing around with Eric and Calleigh's profiles.

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

More power to the writers if they had all that stuff in mind when they created this 'thing' between Eric and Calleigh b/c to me what those sites said is what the writers have said and seem to be writing in the show with these two!! To be honest, I didn't think they had the brain power for it!!

It is nice to know though that we are not the only ones who think these two are made for eachother...it is obviously written in the stars, so to speak

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

That would be cool, if they did. I know some writers do. In any case, their astrological signs are pretty dead on, except I see Calleigh as more of a Taurus. But their readings are scarily accurate. I wish I could find the old reading. It was so awesome. Oh well, I could, but... laziness wins.

Fanfic? Fanfic, anyone?

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

Are you offering to write one or asking someone else to write one?

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

Whatever results in me doing none of the work and all of the reading.

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

^^I am sooo with you Caro...whatever allows me to do the least amount of work where fics are concerned

"CSI: Miami" regular Eva La Rue says she's stoked about the new season of the CBS procedural drama because things get a little more personal for her. "I get a love interest," says La Rue, who plays Natalia Boa Vista, the DNA lab specialist with a knack for grant writing who's becoming a CSI member. "I'm not sure how much of a love interest it's going to be, but we're going to get some new characters, and a couple of people on the show will end up being in love." but we're going to get some new characters, and a couple of people on the show will end up being in love." La Rue says her character will still be struggling with becoming a full-fledged member of the CSI team when the show returns Sept. 24. "I'm trying to pass my firearms qualifications so I can carry a gun like the rest of them, but I'm really a bad shot -- and evidently that's where this (love interest) comes into play. He's going to be my coach."

That underlined part makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :D

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

I totally would write one but I've got two WIPs, neither of which I'm working on, because this other idea came to me and I started writing that instead, but that's not really getting done either.

Eva better be talking about E/C.

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

That interview made me happy because,

"two people on the show" have to be Eric and Calleigh. Jake isn't on the show, he's a guest star. And two, thank God to Natalia getting a love interest.

My fic is coming along. Slowly, but any other way and it wouldn't be me

DUDE! Thank you so much for posting that.

It isn't concrete that she means E/C, but c'mon... it just has to be. YAY!

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

It does sound like E/C. It's about time! They've been dragging this storline out for half a decade!

I think Calleigh will make "the move" because Eric has already made his feeling very clear so the ball is really in her court. He is too respectful of her feelings to start anything 'cos she said they couldn't be together. :(

Does this make any sense?

F.B

P.S Can't wait for the new season to start! :)

P.P.S Whose that guy she kissing on the previews? I can't tell. Her hair is a dead giveaway but ... him ...?

Re: Eric & Calleigh #25 -- Traffic-Jam In The Pleasure Grott

That interview is fantastic!

I think it's pretty clear she's talking about E/C. Well maybe not pretty clear, but I'm 95% sure. Because first she said she doesn't know how things are going to go with her love interest, so she doesn't know if Natalia will fall in love or not. Second as Caro said, "a couple of people on the show" implies E/C. Sure, it could be Natalia and Calleigh falling in love separately but again, she doesn't know if Natalia will fall in love, and "being in love" implies these two people fall in love with each other. Unless they ask Johnny Withwhatever to become a regular (which I don't see happening), I think it's pretty clear it'll be E/C. Also "end up being in love" doesn't sound like J/C because they're already dating. "End up" kinda implies that it's unexpected, and J/C isn't. E/C is.

Now I'm excited! Funny how Eva started the season making us feel awful with that interview she gave out a few weeks ago and now she's the one making us feel better with another interview.
