Nah, just an answer to the word drabble challenge. I've been neglecting them for too long. I have the plot and everything, just need to sit down and write it.
 
I just watched Wannabe yesterday! Ahh the good old days.
And I think I shall write to Corey as well. The EC fandom should be louder.

I have to say though: Things HAVE to look positive anyway for season 5... because it just can't get worse than season 4 :lol:
And now don't start coming up with ideas how things COULD get worse for E/C, please ;)
 
I'll try, but I love my angst :D.

I've been watching Season 1 all day, so many great moments between them. Calleigh w/sniper rifle = hot. Now if Eric picks up one of them we are good to go, hot flashes and all ;).

I'm totally going to vote for Jessica, I love her stories, I'm going to try and nominate one of her drabbles too (can we still nominate stuff?).
So do you think we'll see Eric's reaction to Calleigh's relationship with this guy from her academy days?
 
I hope so. Corey didn't say anything about Calleigh getting back together with this guy which is good. They could do a good little jealousy angle there, and then the writers would be able to see what a good pairing they make.

On the other hand, they said they weren't going to favour any pairing. We might see a little something, but nothing that really hints towards them possibly becoming a couple or that their relationship is past being friends. With pairings in Miami, it seems there is everything to play for. This is why we must voice our opinions to Miller while we still can ;).

I'm just happy that we'll see more of them together. Hopefully this is the start of something positive for our ickle ship.

Since we know Calleugh will be in an accident (and thankfully not hurt badly) do you think we might get a little scene with Delko being worried about her? I thinks it's another great moment for the writers to 'test the water' with this ship. I know they did this quite a lot in Season 1/2 but they seem to have forgotten. Time for them to get back in touch with this ship methinks. What do you guys think?

That really is a great place to let Eric show some concern for Calleigh. In fact, to me, it's such a great opportunity that even with these writers, I'd be fairly surprised if they didn't let Eric be concerned. Calleigh had a wreck; hello?! Any good friend (especially one who wants to be more than that ;) ) would be concerned. I just hope the writers let us see that. Like I said, I'd even be happy with a "I'm glad you're okay" kind of thing. Maybe even a flash of worry in his eyes when he hears the news. I don't know. I just want to see something from him.
 
It'd be almost blasphemous(sp?) if they didn't give us some kind of interaction for that moment. I'm also hoping that we get to see something between them when Eric comes back from Rio. Just an 'I'm glad you're ok *eye/smile sexage)' would it for me.
 
Not only that, but if there was nothing at all like that, it would kind of make Eric (or Calleigh too for that matter when Eric gets back) look sort of like a jerk; sort of like he doesn't care, which from the first three seasons we know that's not true.

If this storyline had taken place in season two, you know Eric would have been all over her.
 
I think with everything going on they probably should act like jerks to each other. But that is the perfect way for them to initiate a romantic relationship with each other. The angst allows for so many different opportunities for them to advance to 'more than friends'. Then after all that, I think they need to have a heart to heart. With the whole Marisol thing, and then Calleigh being in a car accident, serious or not should prompt them to realise life is too short. They both know they haven't been the same since Speed/Hagen, so that would be the perfect time for them to open up and let each other in a bit. Then things with really start to look up for our ship ;).

Seriously though, it's all to play for in terms of ships going 'canon' on Miami. Clearly the writers don't favour anyone in particular at this point (with the possible exception of H/Y), so really they should be trying out all pairings to see how they work together on screen. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the conclusions they'd come to after that :D.
