I posted that pic in one of our Emily/Calleigh threads long time ago.
The Picture is from 'The Car Man' After Party. It's a tv movie from 2001. The guy next to Emily is Will Kemp. He played a role in that movie.

I read in an interview that Emily asked Jorja about taking the role and Jorja told her to do so, and she eventually did. I have to say: thank you Jorja! What would CSI:Miami be without of southern beauty bullet girl? A lot less interesting, I bet! I would've loved to see her as a weather girl, I can just imagine her southern accent predicting that today will be a sunny day
Now that I didn't know. Thanks goodness Jorja was there to consult with Emily on the role. :lol: I don't think I'd be able to picture anyone else playing the role of Calleigh Duquesne. Oh, and I knew about the weather girl gig, but I didn't know she was that young!
I would have loved to see her southern charm shine in front of the camera whilst just being Emily. And that's some interesting info delkolover about her asking for the day off to perform her sorority duties, lol. I never really pictured her in a sorority (Wow you learn new things every day!) but I'm very sure she was well-loved there.

So, apparently the idea is quite working... Everyone contributed by adding their own pieces of information and the result is that everyone is finding out things they didn't know... Isn't it absolutely cool?
I'm a little surprised somebody didn't know about her friendship with Jorja. I know Emily calls her Horha (as Jorja would be read in Spanish) and I've always thought this is so sweet, because it clearly remarks how close they are. *is guilty of worshipping two goddesses at the same time*
That's a good point. Given the current circumnstances, I wouldn't have even started watching CSI Miami... That's scary. Not that I'd have missed much without Calleigh as we know her. What'd Miami be without the sun?

Emily playing a duel role on Miami could work b/c it is said that we all have doppleganger out there somewhere in the world who looks either just like us or close enough to be our twin!! I've seen some really good celebrities look alikes who could pass as a twin for the real thing.
I can't wait to see her movie Dollars...it seems like an interesting premise for a movie and it will be nice to see Emily outside of her role as Calleigh.

I don't know what it is but whenever a great, amazing TV actor or actress like Emily or DC or someone does a movie, I get real excited to watch it and then it's like, "Well they were great but I didn't like the movie..." Hoping this one will be different. It's called 'Dollars?' I'll have to rent it when it comes out.
On the Emily-playing 2 parts on Miami thing, they've done that before on other shows (and countless movies) and while I think she would pull it off I just really love her as Cal so much that it would be odd to see her as someone else. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Well I know this isn't the place to talk about it so I will only mention it once and then leave it alone...I'm an E/C shipper and this could apply to non E/C shippers too....With everything that has gone on w/ Eric etc. seeing someone murdered who looks just like Calleigh could evoke so many emotions from the team.
Now here is where my one time shipper thing comes in....it could evoke many emotions from Eric and force him to come to some realizations.
As for the rest of the team since they came close to losing Eric I think it would be a weird/ hard not to think about it being Calleigh type thing. Ya know shit happens in life and we are not invincable b/c we are cops...kind of probably what they are going to do with Eric's storyline now. Does that make sense?? :lol:

You guys mean like getting a 'butterflied'; Miami style? Hm, I don't think so. It's been done in LV and to be honest I didn't like that episode at all (though the doppelganger might not have been the reason for that )
