I am in denial, Eric is just Eric, you know we all can't do without him and the sma goes for Calleigh. If she leaves, then CSI:Miami might as well get cancelled, not saying Nat and Ry arent any good, but these are original CSIs that have been there forever! Come to think of it, Calleigh's the only CSI (from the beginning of the show) left. This new season is gonna be tough on me, maybe I'll be more focused on real things than the tv show, who knows? I really wanna watch the ratings fluctuate when it begins.

Quite frankly, IDK whether CSI ratings will drop or not after a possible departure from both Emily and Adam, but I guess there's not point in arguing on this kind of topic 'cause no one will ever agree on it. But ratings are tricky.

Emily said that there's always a point where the show is gonna end...no matter what they're gonna create...people will get tired of the whole CSI:Franchise. I guess this point has come a while ago and it didn't just concern viewers. I've come to think that the actors are the first ones who get tired b/c of the franchise....I don't know why, but I really thought that both Adam and Emily kind of got tired of playing on it.

If they want to leave the show b/c they want something new...well...good for them, I wish them all the best as they really deserve it, but, honestly, this won't stop me from going on watching this show because they both had their storylines while they were on it (even if they weren't the best ones, IMHO), now it's time for other people to get the screentime they deserve.

As for their contracts, I alredy knew that Emily's contract was up at the end of 2009 so I haven't been worried, at all, till this crazy interview. I think it's absolutely insane that TPTB don't know how to negotate with their actors...but then again they're the same people who created a flashback with a ghost even without knowing whether this person wanted to work for thim or just didn't want to have anything to do with them. So, the fact they're having bad negotations doesn't surprise me, at all.

All I hope is that this has nothing to do with money 'cause that would be depressing not to mention disappointing both from TPTB and Emily/Adam. Sorry but money stuff always drives me crazy.

Anyway, I really hope Emily is not gonna leave the show, but, even if she's my fav. actress, this doesn't mean I'll stop watching a show I've learned to love and consider as my fav. one ever

I am soooo with you guys. Forget the fact that I am E/C shipper, I loved these two characters before I got into the ship. Emily is my fav on the show regardless of what her character does. So if both leave....I will probably not watch anymore.

I get the feeling, even if one stays and one goes, that quite a few people will do what LV fans did after Peterson left; they will watch to "see" what the show is like and then make a decision. That show lost quite a few fans when he left. I have the feeling, again regardless of who leaves, this show will go through the same thing.

I agree with delkolover, I always Calleigh and Eric, EC was the last relationship that I had ever considered. I'm really gonna miss him, I bet I'll in the premiere. Maybe Calleigh will get pairing with Eddie's character or go back to Ryan.

I just saw the video and for me she was not saying "we" - for me she was saying "I think, there were maybe some poor contract negotiations" - or did I hear it wrong? (I´m not native English speaking)

But what I don´t get is her laughing like she made one of her jokes????

I am so confused, if I had only seen the video I would have thought of a joke that makes us believe Calleigh killed Delko - but after reading the articles - I really don´t know what to think

I think that was a nervous laugh. She probably didn't know what to say when asked about her on screeen romance, given what she knew what was happening behind the scenes... I don't think she'd joke about something that serious. Anyway, the reason why some of us are thinking she was referring to Adam, is cause of the twitter messages he was sending a couple of weeks ago. Some of them stuck to my mind; he said:
1) " ... the beginning of the end.." before shooting the first day of the premiere
2) " ... one down, nine more to go..." after finishing the shooting of the first episode.
There were other odd messages, which I can't remember right now, which left us vey confused...:wtf: We weren't sure if this was his way of telling us he was leaving the show, or if he was messing with his fans...

It's ok, delkolover, we've all been a little on the edge lately :lol: . To say that it's been a crazy week is an understatement! It's like being on a long and rough emotional roller coaster ride (and I HATE roller coasters :guffaw, and I, for one, am completely drained!
Hopefully, we'll soon get some confirmation ( maybe even as early as next week), to put all our worries to rest. I can dream, can't I?

Adam and Emily are originals' of the show, it just wouldn't seem right w/o them. I think it would totally change the whole dynamic of the show. It's like when Gary and Jorja left CSI: Las Vegas, it wasn't the same after that.

That and when Billy left it really felt off. Ray Langston is okay, but i miss the predomionance of the established supporting characters simce Nick and Cth wre rarely involved.

I don't want Miami to suffer that fate and it will when two original, since the premiere episode, cast member up and leave. That leaves DC and he's not enough to keep me watching.....in fact, he's a great reason for me to stop. I adore Togo and La Rue, but it's not enough. If Adam Rodriguez is going, a final string, for me, is snapped. If Emily leaves, there's no longer any reason for me to care about the show, which, in dramatic circles, is a joke anyway....no real awards outside technical ones. No one takes the actors or their talents seriously, no matter the storyline.

So if Adam goes....I'm on the edge of leaving but will stay to see how the writers handle Emily's character's fallout. C'mon, you don't go whole hearted into a full out head over heels romantic relationship and have it abruptly taken from you without some sort of heartbreak. I want to see her deal with it. I want it to affect her in ways she never had it affect her before. For everyone that feels a season long upset Calleigh is too much.....no, it isn't. Ever break up from somone you truly love? It's not over in a couple of days or even weeks, When it's your best friend it's phenominally worse. She's not going to be okay and just go along like nothing happened. If the writers do that, then they're not worth seeing they're work anymore. Calleigh will have fall out should Eric leave because everyone in her life that she's ever loved has gravely disappointed her or left her....you don't think she'd have issues? Give the girl some space and material and let her go.
