I'm always amazed when I see that people are 'scared' of anyone who doesn't like Lindsay or D/L. I wouldn't consider myself anti-Lindsay, that implies that I'm violently opposed to her, which I'm not. I'm not in love with the character, and all of the fans on TalkCSI have the right to express their opinions, so I feel like I come in and comment on what I don't like. Then someone says they're 'scared' of people who don't like Lindsay or D/L, and then I feel like somehow I shouldn't be allowed to dislike something. I love CSI:NY, but should I be expected to love everything about it? If all I did was rhapsodize about what I just lurve, then I wouldn't visit this board very often, because that just gets boring after a while.
I'm not going to hunt someone down and beat them. I think Lyn is absolutely right, all I want is a decent debate.
I've never read any D/L fiction, but I've had some recommended to me, and I have every intention of reading them. I could very well like the pairing in fanfic, but from what I've seen on the show, and the way the relationship seems to affect the show itself (unfavorably in my opinion), I just don't think it's a good idea. To reiterate what I said earlier, I like Mac/Stella pretty well, but I don't think NY is at the point where it should have relationships between the team members, regardless of how I personally feel about them.
